I can't love [1] A monster like you [twisted vampire love story]

It was five steps out of the hole in which you came, trying to support Ace who you found out was bleeding badly in the side. Your legs were shaking and hurting but, you tried to push threw, you were not going to make it very far if your legs gave out.

"Ace. Can you support yourself?" You asked threw strain. You had your teeth clentched shut, pushing threw the pain. There was no way your legs were going to heal or at least, you might never be able to walk again.

"Uhm yeah." He took the weight he had on you and began to limp by himself. You felt bad but, as soon as his pressure was gone from your back. Your legs gave out and you slid to the floor. You yelled out before realizing that your legs had just given out and you weren't dieing.

"Why did you help me?" Ace asked leaning agianst a wall in the shade, hands shoved in his pockets. His side had begun to heal infront of your eyes. Skin winding together to heal, pale white skin replacing the wound.

"I..." You didn't really have anything to say. It was your fault Ace got hurt, and then it's was rebeling because nobody would let you help. It was you were bored, it was an option of runaway untill King saw you. It was just, the right thing?

"Cause you protected me. From what I dont know. But, now my dues are paid." You shoved yourself from the ground and stood on your two feet, there was a light breeze rushing past the boxers and shirt you were still wearing. Ace's smell still on them. There was a slight touch to your shoulder, the cold hand making shivers run down you spine.

"Would you stop shielding your feelings? Your lies, I can tell and everytime you lie. I feel bad that you dont trust me." Ace whispered behind you and you suddenly turned cold.

"I have no real reason to trust you." You voice was cold, and he knew it. He pulled his hand back and began to walk normaly.

"I'm sorry you feel that way Lacy." He said and you looked off and shrugged.

"You know you get used to it after a while." You said, completely sarcastically. You could see Ace's body tense next to yours and you looked away. You felt ashamed and like a bitch for the way you acted. Your body was still weak and you stopped every few minutes, leaning agianst something and making faces of pain.

"I'll get someone to come and get us Lacy. Just sit down." Ace said and you nodded, sliding to the floor, cold tears of pain strolling down you cheeks. Your legs ached. but, the tears didn't come from just pain. You knew once you were back at the castle the truth would be spilled.

"Ace?" You didn't want to open our eyes to find out where he was, but you could feel eyes on you.

"Yeah Lacy?" He asked, he was sitting next to you and once you said his name, he turned and rubbed the tears from your cheeks. You flinched for a second, before rubbing the rest off.

"I'm confussed. And, Hurt. And...scared" Your voice shivered and it was very quiet and you opened you gloss covered eyes to gaze at Ace. He was staring ahead at the street. He nodded but, didn't look at you, he only scooted closer and wrapped an arm around your shoulder and pulled you closer to him. You sighed deeply into his chest and tried to stay quiet while tears ran down your cheeks and slowly wet his shirt. He only squeezed you tighter and rubbed his hand on your arm. It was weird being this close to him, you were unsure how you felt about him when you were this close. You loathed him strongly sometimes. But, this soft side of him was a soft side on you.

He was a vampire, a cold, heartless, vampire.

All of a sudden there was a black porche that sped up the road and stomped on the breaks, a loud screach sound filled the air, black tire marks behind the car, the driver got out and you smiled to Jack, who was certainly not smiling at you.

He walked over and took you from Ace's arm.

"I TOLD you NOT to leave!" His voice was strong and Ace slowly got up. Suddenly you happiness was gone and it was filled with sudden defense.

"YOU should have let me help! Leaving me in that room alone. What did you THINK I was gunna DO?" You screamed back and he looked around, picking up the skateboard the was a couple feet down the street and throwing it into the car. He sighed deeply and then glanced back to you. He made an advance towards you and you quickly stumbled away from him, but didn't go towards Ace. Jack quickly caught you and pulled you into a huge hug.

"I was worried lacy." His voice was quiet and he dug his head into your head and you inhaled deeply, and then exhaled in great relief. Ace got in the car and you quickly hugged Jack back.

"I didn't mean to scare you Jack..." You mummbled and he nodded.

"You did Lacy, now get in the car." He turned around and got into the drivers seat. You looked to the car and stumbled towards it, your legs still weak from muscel pain.

"Come here." Ace reached out of the car and grabbed you by the sides, pulling you onto his lap and shutting the door. He wrapped his arms around you but, you didn't rest agianst his chest or lay down, you sat forward and as far away from his as possible.

You still didn't trust him or anything he did, you didn't want to be close to him. And sitting on his lap was too close to him. Sometimes maybe it was a mood or something. Sometimes you didn't want to be around him, other times it was fine if he was around.

"So, lets here some answers now." You moved from his lap and sat on the floor so you could see both Jack, and Ace's faces.

((haha Ace's Faces's. idk why I found that funny. I just did. WELL ANYWAYS...))

"Shut up and wait till we get to the castle." Ace was quiet and you looked away from him, angered that he told you to shut up. You blinked as the car rolled up into the castle and everybody was waiting for the car. jack unlocked the car and got out, he passed everybody and headed inside, giving a small nodd to father. Ace got out of the car and then bent down to pick you up. You instantly gripped the car door and refused to be pulled out. Ace gave one last tug. And completely ripped your grip away. You squeled but, didn't bother moving once he was caring you towards the group of people. he gave a nodd to King/Father who nodded back and patted him on the back.

"I'm glad your okay my boy." His voice was pridefull and joyfull. You were getting more angered by the second.

"Yea, didn't think you'd actually make it Lacy." Poker teased and Deck was the first to laugh and agree. you clentched your mouth shut. Ace looked down at you and smiled, you looked away from him. You were gunna explode. Ace promised you answers for risking your health to save his selfish ass.

There was a silence and they all looked to you, you didn't make eye contact with anyone. You just stared at the sky.

"Where the hell am I?" You asked and Dice looked down to you.

"Eh, girly you dont wanna know." Dice said and you looked to him and shrugged.

"Collins sai---" Youw ere cut off quickly and your body was squeezed in Ace's grip.

"Whos Collins?" he looked down to you. That wasn't a question tone, it was a demand. You sealed your lips and glared.

"if I dont get answers. Then you dont get answers." You spat coldly and King stepped forward.

"Inside the house NOW. Please." His voice was hurried and so eevrybody walked into the house. Except you, you were 'carried' against any will you had left. if you had any...

Everybody settled down in the living room and you crawled from Ace's lap and dived into the spot next to him and hugged the pillow. It was weird to look around the room. Every guy was fiddling with something. Messing with pillow fray or stuffing from the pillow. Ace was twisting his hands. You looked to King who pulled a book from the shelf and dusted off the cover.

"I used to know your mother." it was the beginning to it all. The greatest of worst, endings, and starts. Of the whole knew phrase. You didn't have words. You could speak. It was the words that slowly dripped from his mouth.
That started your whole new life.
