{Demon Arrange Marriage Story} When you hate the sound of laughter <Part 18> Dare I ask

"Its 9: 15. So favorite animal" she asked as she looked at the clock seeing it was time to ask him a question. He sighed and looked up from his laptop but not at her. "I guess I would have to say wolfs" he said after a short while and went back to working. After he answered she laid down to rest but kept her eye on the clock wanting to make sure she didn’t miss when 15 had gone by. She wanted to make sure she got to know as much about him as she could. "9:30, so what's your favorite and hated color" she asked and he looked over at her and frowned. "That’s two questions" he stated and she shook her head. "No its part of the question, the question is just all about color" she explained and he rolled his eyes. "I don’t mind dark blue and I don’t like anything to bright" he said and went back to work.

As time went by she found out he didn’t really have a favorite food because food was food to him, he wore dress cloths to always look the part for the business him and his father owned, and a few other things before she fell asleep. Lunch came and she woke up at the smell of food. "How are you feeling Misty" Lilly asked as she set the bowl of soup down for her. "Doing better" she said giving Lilly a smile. Lilly smiled back and moved over to Knox's side of the bed to set the trey down which had his lunch on it. "Skeet and Blossom wanted me to give you this" Lilly said as she walked back over to Misty, pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to her. They had made her a get well card. Even had Lady and Tim sign it. "Thank you Lilly and tell everyone thanks" Misty said as she smiled at the card feeling so cared about by them. "Will do, now you just work on getting all better" Lilly said with a large grin and left the room.

"Isn't it sweet" Misty asked Knox when she saw him glace up from his work and at the card. He ignored her question and went back to work. Feeling hungry she took a break from asking questions to eat the soup Lilly had brought. She watched as Knox would work and take a bite every now and then from his sandwich. As she watched him she felt her self getting very tired and feel asleep again. She woke up late that afternoon to the feeling of the bed moving. She opened her eyes to see Knox getting back on the bed. "Hi" she said quietly and gave him a small smile. "Sorry I was trying not wake you" he mumbled as he got back into his spot and put his laptop back on his lap. "That’s ok I kinda need to get up my self" she said with a small laugh, got up and went to the bathroom. When she came back she found him still working away. "Your not going to pass out on me again are you" he asked as she passed by his side of the bed. "I just did to much this morning and got dizzy" she said with a small laugh and got into bed.

"About that there's something your not telling me" she said and eyed him suspiciously. "Shouldn’t you be sleeping and getting better for school" he asked completely ignoring her statement. "Come on Knox I've been asleep for the past few hours. Not to mention the hours this morning. At least answer this question, please" she asked giving him her best puppy dog eyes. He kept his gaze on his laptop though she could tell he was having trouble not looking at her. "Please Knox" she begged again, moving a little closer to him. "If I answer this no more questions today ok" he asked and she frowned still wanting to know more about him. "Don’t look so sad you have all of tomorrow to bother me ok" he said and she smiled. "No what I mean is" he started to ramble on but she just started to laugh. "I should have never gotten off the bed" he mumbled letting his head fall back and closed his eyes.
 
"Fine I wont bug you with anymore questions until tomorrow if there is one new rule to the game" she said with a very big smile on her face. "Dare I ask what it is" he asked not bothering to look at her or open her eyes. "Well I think its only fair that we get to know each other. Not just me to know you" she said a paused to see if he understood were she was going. "So I have to ask you questions" he asked now looking at her with eyes open. "You could just ask me to answer the same question I asked you" she offered and he sighed. "I doubt saying no will do any good" he asked and she shook her head. "Oh you act like I'm asking for your right arm" she said and rolled her eyes. "Fine just let me get back to work" he said and turned back to his laptop. "Its only a deal if you answer this last question" she insisted seeing that he was trying to make her forget about it. He sighed and looked over at her knowing he had to answer. "It was just a feeling" he said while looking at her, though it looked more like he was looking past her. She smiled happy to know that there bond was good, not super good. But enough to tell him when she was in trouble. "Why are you smiling" he asked coming back to his senses. "I'm just happy your open enough to this for the bond to work" she said still smiling. "It was just luck, now 15 minuets" he mumbled and went back to his work. "15" she asked with a small laugh. "Tomorrow, whatever let me get back to work" he grumbled frustrated and just wanting to get back to work. She could tell he wasn’t to happy about feeling something but she was glad it had happened, maybe this would work after all.
