Crazy For This Girl [Kevin Jonas] Part 4: Love Me or Leave Me

**Brooke's POV**
I saw Kevin's car pull into their driveway. I saw Nick and Joe get out and Kevin taking his time. I had no choice. I ran outside of my house, barefoot, and over to Kevin's side.
"Kevin, I think I'm falling in love with you." I said before kissing him. He pulled back and looked at me.
"You what?" he asked.
I bit my lip now afraid of his answer. I swore he had to have felt the same way, I guess I was wrong.
"I think I'm in love with you Kevin." I said staring at my feet.
"I am sorry I just wrecked our friendship and everything, but you had a right to now."
"I have to go." Kevin said pushing past me and without even a glance back slammed his front door shut.
I stood there shocked as the tears started to fall from my eyes. I didn't know what to do. I had to leave though. I couldn't stay here that was for sure. I couldn't live across the street from the guy I'm pretty sure I'm in love with...especially when he doesn't love me.
Letting the tears fall freely now, I ran back to my house desperate to get away from here.

**Kevin's POV**
"Hey Kev, we saw Brooke and you outside!" Joe said jumping up and down. "So..."
"So what?" i asked coldly. I was sure not going to talk about this to my brothers...well maybe just not to Joe.
"WHAT HAPPENED?!?!" He asked almost falling over as he tackled me.
"Ugh...you are so immature Joe." I said pushing him off.
"DUDE I SAW YOU AND BROOKE KISS!" Nick said running down the stairs.
"SO THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED?!" Joe yelled truimphantly.
"Thanks Nick, good to know I have my own spy."
"I wasn't spying! I just happened to walk by the hallway upstairs and I looked outside and saw it. But dude it doesn't matter, YOU FINALLY KISSED BROOKE!"
"I didn't kiss her, she kissed me." I said sitting down. Joe and Nick sat opposite me.
"So why does that matter? If anything it should be a good thing. Now you know she feels the same." Joe said.
I knew he was right, I don't know how I couldn't bring myself to believe that.
"Yeah, well not anymore." i said.
"What?" Joe and Nick both asked.
"I just left. She told me she loved me and I just left."
"YOU IDIOT!" Joe said smacking me with a pillow.
"I'm not an idiot! Joe if you knew anything, which you don't, you'd understand why this is so hard!"
"KEVIN YOU ARE SUCH AN IDIOT!" He said again. "HOW COULD YOU DO THAT! YOU SAID YOU LOVED HER...SHE SAYS SHE LOVES YOU...WHERE'S THE PROBLEM!?"
I threw the pillow back at him and it ended up with Joe and I wrestling around the living room.
"Cut it out losers!" Nick said pulling us apart. "Seriously, for 20 and 18 you two are extremely immature."
"Oh and you aren't for 15." Joe said.
"Nice come back! And I can be...key number is 15!" Nick replied. "Besides this isn't about me...this is about Kevin."
"I don't want it to be from me! And I don't want to talk about this with my LITTLE brothers!" I yelled walking up the stairs to my room.
**Joe's POV**
I sighed and watched Kevin walk upstairs. THe girl he was in love with I'm almost positive is packing up and leaving...she runs when things don't go her way, and he isn't showing that he cares for her at all. I guess it's up to me. Well duh it is...I'm Superman! Wow and now I'm talking to myself.
"You talk to Kev," I said turning to Nick.
"Where are you going?" he asked me.
"To stop Brooke from running."
It took a minute or two for it to click in Nick's mind and then he nodded remembering Brooke's mom's remarriage that she ran out on because she hated the guy.
"We are getting them together if it is the last thing we do." I informed him. "Kevin is our brother, and he can be a complete moron sometimes but I love him all the same. And I know that goes for you too, and Brooke too."
Nick nodded again and took off up the stairs to Kevin's room. Seeing him disappear, I ran out the door hoping I wasn't too late to stop Brooke.
