Of course. I said in reply. I havent spent too much time with him at all with the fear of Bella turning it all around. I smiled at Edward, happy to finally get some alone time with him. He led me to the door and opened it for me, After you. I smiled at him and walked out to his car, were he beat me to open the door again. He was a gentlemen, and so cute. His eyes told how his mood was, I could tell, for when I seen him with Bella he looked a little pained for some reason. I climbed into the car and he started to engine, So, where are we going? He glanced up at me and smiled, Youll see.
I just nodded and looked out the window. I then looked at the speedometer and noticed he was driving with incredible speed. I looked at him, then the speedometer again, he seen me glance at him and smiled, Its alright, I have many years of driving. Of course he did, he was a vampire made backback wait I didnt even know how old he was. I mustered up the courage to ask him some questions, I was a little nervous because I liked him, but I went for it, hopefully not being stupid or too personal with him. Uh, do you mind if I ask how old you are? Of course not, I am not ashamed of my age; Carlisle made me when I was dying in a hospital in Chicago. Both my parents died from what I had and if he didnt change me I would have died. I am about 100 years old. I dont like to keep count of them but its around there.
Wow. Thats all I could say, I mean really what would you say if some one told you they were 100 years old? Ha, yeah I know I am old but its ok I guess, I mean asking for this isnt what I want anyone to do. You dont know how many days go by where I havent thought about death. What it would be like to finally end, but it will never come. He sounded so sad and serious about this, and I felt sorry for him. I wouldnt wish death on him to make him happy though, that would make me very upset. Do you regret changing Bella at all? He stiffened and his grasp on the wheel got tighter, his knuckles were whiter than his normal skin tone, and I knew I said something he didnt want to talk about now. I felt so stupid for saying that, but he slowly calmed down and looked at me, I think you are too curios Ms. Sara. Thats for another time I think. I just nodded and looked out my window.
Its alright of what you asked, I am not mad at you. You are just entering our world, answers will always come. I looked at him and he flashed me one of those gorgeous side smiles showing a little of his teeth and I could just barley make out to what his teeth would look like when his teeth came out. It kind of scared me and I looked away, thankfully we were at the place he was taking me.
