{Demon Arrange Marriage Story} When you hate the sound of laughter <Part 15> Why are you on the floor?

After she finished throwing up there was a knock on the door. "Misty are you ok" it was Blossom and she was sure Skeet was there as well. She pulled her self to her feet and opened the door. "Are you ok, what's all that yelling outside" Skeet asked but didn’t bother pushing for answers when Misty nearly fell over unable to keep her self standing. "I just need to go to bed" she mumbled and Skeet and Blossom helped keep her up. They helped her get upstairs to her room, ignoring the yelling outside. She felt horrible, and she hoped Jinx wouldn’t get to upset. Bad things happened when she got to mad. They got her into bed with Lilly's help. "Blossom go get a wet cloth, Skeet you stay with her. I'm going to go get some medicine" Lilly sad and quickly left the room. Blossom came back from the bathroom with the damp cloth and put it on Misty's forehead. "Your going to be ok Misty. Right Skeet" Blossom asked as she looked over at Skeet. "Sure she will, right Misty" Skeet asked trying to stay upbeat but was very worried and it showed. "Yeah" Misty said quietly and gave them a small smile.

She didn’t want them to worry about her. There was no way she could tell them that she wasn’t fine and may not make it much longer. It would break there hearts. "I'm going to go see what's keeping Lilly" Skeet said as he got up and then left the room. "Don’t worry Misty everything will be ok" Blossom said as she took Misty's hand and held it in hers. Soon Lilly came back with Skeet right behind her. "Here Misty take this it will help" Lilly said as Skeet helped Misty sit up so she could take the medicine. "There you go Misty that will help" Lilly said once she had taken it all. "Come on you two lets give her some peace and quiet to rest up. If you need anything just call ok" Lilly said and Misty did her best to nod. Skeet and Blossom wished her well and left with Lilly.

They returned at dinner time to see if she could eat some soup and keep it down. But after a few sips she had to run to the bathroom and through up. Skeet and Blossom help hold her up while she brushed her teeth. Lilly insisted that she just come back to bed but she wouldn’t leave the bathroom until she had. "Shouldn’t we call a Doctor" Blossom asked once they had Misty back in bed. "Knox said no and that he thought she would be better in a few days" Lilly said and Skeet rolled his eyes. "Yeah right" he said and Lilly sighed. "Misty if your not feeling better by morning were calling a Doctor" Lilly said and the other nodded. "Wont Knox get mad" Blossom asked, "who cares" Skeet said. "It doesn't matter, all that matter is that Misty gets better" Lilly said and looked back over at Misty who was holding her head in pain. She looked at the clock and saw that t was time again to give her some medicine. "Alright Misty this will help" Lilly said as she poured the medicine. Skeet once again helped Misty sit up and she took the medicine. "Misty you try and get some sleep that will help. Call us if you need anything and please feel better" Lilly said and they all said there goodnights.

Soon after they left Misty feel into a deep sleep. But woke up early in the morning feeling just as bad and ran to the bathroom. She didn’t know what was left in her to through up but for some reason her body wanted to do it anyway. After a while with nothing coming up just the feeling of needing to through up she gave up. Then went to get up but found she didn’t have the strength to get up. She groaned at the thought of having to spend about 4 hours on the cold bathroom floor until Lilly and the others came up with breakfast. They would call a Doctor but he or she would tell it was no good and she knew they would cried. She didn’t want to see them cried but there wasn’t anything she could do. But her depressing thoughts were interrupted by the bedroom door opening. Glad that someone had decided to check up one her, "In here" she called but it came out more like a whisper. She was so very happy that she didn’t have to stay on the cold floor. She smiled as she looked up waiting to see Skeet, Blossom or Lilly's face but instead she saw Knox.

"Knox" she whispered shocked to see him standing in the door way to there bathroom. "Why are you on the floor" he asked confused to find her there. "I felt sick and I'm to tired to get up" she said and rubbed her eyes making sure it was Knox that she was talking to. "Come on lets get you into bed" he said as he walked over to her, then carefully picked her up and carried her back into the bedroom. He got her back into bed and pulled the covers over her. "Misty" he said as he sat down on the bed and sighed. "What is it Knox" she asked after a short period of silence. But he ignored her question. She could feel him getting more and more frustrated, which was now making him angry. Not wanting him to start yelling she placed her hand on his shoulder in a act to comfort him. He didn’t move for awhile and she thought it might be helping. But suddenly he shrugged her hand off his shoulder. It fell, lightly touching his lower abdomen and he winced.
