Crazy For This Girl A Kevin Jonas Story (Part 3: This I Swear)

**Brooke's POV**
I didn't care I was still sick. I needed to figure out what was going on with Kevin. I grabbed a coat, though it's about 85 outside, and headed out the door.
Walking across the street to the Jonas house I took a deep breath. I knocked on the door and to my luck Kevin opened it.
He looked like he wanted to shut the door in my face, but I kept it open with one of my feet.
"You shut the door on me Paul Kevin Jonas and I swear to God I will never speak to you again."
He shuddered at my saying his full name. He knew I only did it when I was mad.
Kevin stepped back and I walked into the house. I hadn't seen it in months, but it still smelled the exact same...I loved it.
I walked up to his room, but I didn't want to get him sick, so I sat on a chair.
"So..." Kevin said walking in.
"WHY HAVE YOU COMPLETELY IGNORED ME FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS?!" I blurted out way sooner than I expected.
"What?" he asked. "I have not been ignoring you."
"oh yeah? why did nick and joe have to come over when I'm sick? you do that!" I knew I hit the spot because Kevin looked away.
"It's stupid, you'll just laugh and never talk to me again."
"Try me," I said folding my arms.
He was about to say something when his phone went off. When he hung up he looked at me.
"I'm sorry, Nick and Joe need me. I have to go."
I rolled my eyes and stood up.
"Whatever. Don't expect me to wait around forever Kevin." I said leaving.

WHAT WAS THAT SUPPOSSED TO MEAN!? I kept asking myself as I walked to my house.
**Am I implying something, I didn't know?**
**Holy cow! Can I like Kevin?**
**No way!**
**Yes way! Of course you do! You wouldn't care so much if you didn't**
**Yes I would, he is my best friend**
**STOP! YOU DO! BOTTOM LINE!**
I yelled at myself because I was fighting with myself...who does that??
Little did I know, Kevin was doing the same thing.
**Kevin's POV**
All the way to the studio, I kept asking myself what Brooke meant.
"Don't expect me to wait around forever." Those words kept ringing in my ears.
What is that supposed to mean?
Heck, I don't know!
I saw Nick and Joe sitting inside the recording room when I got there.
"What took you so long?" Joe asked.
"Brooke came over, she kept asking why I have been ignoring her. She's nuts."
"Well you have." Nick said.
"I know, but can you blame me?"
"Why don't you just tell her?" Joe said throwing a basketball in the air...when did he get that?
"It's not that simple...you've never been in love before Joe, you don't get it."
"Doesn't seem that hard." he said.
I sighed...my poor clueless little brother.
"She said she wasn't gonna wait for me forever...whatever that meant."
Nick and Joe both looked at each other and then Joe threw the basketball at me...okay seriously where did he get that??
"ARE YOU STUPID!?" Joe said. "SHE LIKES YOU TOO DORK!"
"Yeah, okay." I said.
"Dude, come on...what else does I'm not gonna wait for you forever mean??" Nick said rolling his eyes.
Before I could say anything we were told you start practicing.
Seriously, this is getting annoying...and what do my LITTLE brothers know about girls...I'm always the one giving them advice on the topic...it doesn't work the other way around.
**Brookes Pov**
I called Kevin's phone. I needed to talk to him. I couldn't wait.
**ring, ring**
"UGH PICK UP!" I screamed as I got the voicemail.
"Kev, it's Brooke, please call me back. I need to talk to you." I said hanging up.
I hoped he'd call back, I'm not sure if he would though.
I sighed and fell onto my bed. I didn't know what to do...I didn't even know how I felt towards him anymore...but one thing was for sure...

I sure didn't want to be just Kevin's friend anymore.
