Mickey followed Kimberly inside the house. He smiled when he got in. The house was exactly as Gerard had described. The cozy atmosphere, the soft-pastel colored walls. It was a really friendly enviroment.. He ignored Kimberly's question and followed her inside the kitchen. When he noticed Kim's mom, he grimached. If she seemed to recognize him, the whole plan would be ruined.
Mickey had to bring Kimberly to his house. Gerard was miserable without her, even if he didn't show it. As a good caring brother, Mickey decised to make a really pleasant surprise to Gerard. He would bring Kimberly over at their house but Ann had to help him, with a few lies of course.
When Ann looked at him, he started waving his hands behind Kim's back whispering 'no' at her. Ann got the message and smiled.
"Hello there, I'm Ann. What's your name kid?" she asked softly pretending that she didn't know him.
Mickey smiled. "It's Mickey ma'am. Nice to meet you."
Ann gave him a last smile and turned again to Kim. "Go get some dry clothes for Mickey. He'll stay here till the rain stops."
When Kim left, Mickey smiled at Ann. "It's nice to see you again Ms. Luis. Thank you for pretending you didn't know me."
"There is no problem darling," she said smiling kindly at him. "The only thing i want to know is why you're doing all those things."
Mickey scrached the back of his neck nervously. He had to lie! "Er...Gerard wants to make a surprise at Kim. And well, i'll try to take her to our house some day to see him." He hoped that she wouldn't ask any further questions because he didn't knew what else to say.
"Here you go. Just go to the bathroom to change," Kim said throwing a t-shirt and some boxers to Mickey.
He sighed with relief when he heard Kim's voice and rushed to the bathroom...

~Inside Kim's room~

"Are we just gonna sit like this?" you said frowning for once again looking angrily at Mickey.
Mickey was looking the ceiling probably having deep thoughts about something. When he heard your voice he glanced at you and returned back at looking the ceiling. "Wanna be friends?" he asked you out of the blue.
You rolled your eyes. "Yeah, sure," you said not really caring about it.
"Wow that's great!" Mickey said and started jumping on your bed. "We're gonna be perfect friends but you would also like my brother because he has the same taste as you do. He smirked. He was sure that she was going to be interested in Gerard, sooner or later.
"What's his name then?" you asked pretending you weren't so interested. From inside you, you really wanted to find out who was that guy who had the same taste as you.
"His name is Arthur," Mickey said trying to hide his smirk. Arthur was the middle name of Gerard so it wasn't like he was lying to her.
"Tell me more!" Kim said, almost demanding to learn about that mystery brother of Mickey.
"YES!!" Michey said from inside him. His plan was working and soon Gerard and Kimberly would meet...
