Demon Angel of the Night Uchiha Sasuke Part four

They all were still stunned at what I had done with the demon brothers, but no one would say anything about it. It wasn't in my nature to be so protective, but something in me told me my team was in danger and I needed to take action.
No one would question me, no one even met my gaze, it was too hard for them, even I knew that. They didn't understand why, even though I am cold, that I protected them.
" Mitsukai, run ahead, see if anything too dangerous is ahead." Kakashi told me, and I obeyed, running off.
*Why do they act so surprised, if they knew what I was, they wouldn't act like that. They wouldn't. They should know that I must protect them.* I thought.
" It's clear!" I called to them, and they caught up with me, and we got to a boat.
" So, Tazuna, we could run from this since this is now an A ranked mission, tell us why we shouldn't." Kakashi said, and I looked to him.
" Kakashi, you should know, you may not finish this mission, but I will." I said to him, and he looked at me. " You forget, protecting people, it's in my blood."
" Well, you could let me die and let this land loose all hope of being free, and let my grandson grieve over me." Tazuna argued, and Kakashi nodded.
" Alright, seeing as though we've come this far, I suppose we can't turn back." he said, and I nodded.
" That's what I thought." I whispered to him, and when he looked at me, I smirked.
We were now on the main land, walking through the forest, and Naruto was trying to act all macho. Though he couldn't sense anything, I could.
*Haku and Zabuza, what are they... oh god no, I can't fight them, they are my only friends.* I thought.
" Duck!" Kakashi yelled, but I was frozen, and I made a hand sign, and let Zabuza'a guillotine go through me. I became solid again, and looked to a tree, and saw Zabuza there.
" Sorry about that Mitsukai." he apologized to me, and everyone looked at me.
" Zabuza..." I whispered.
" I see that rogue ninja, Momochi Zabuza is working for that swine." Kakashi said.
" Ah, Hatake Kakashi, the copy ninja." Zabuza said, and I was completely frozen still. I didn't want to move, knowing I would have to fight my two best friends, knowing that, killed me inside.
" Mitsukai, move out of the way." Kakashi told me, and I snapped from my thoughts and began towards Tazuna.
" Mitsukai, your niece. You don't see how badly she hurts to be on a team of people who hate her." Zabuza said to Kakashi, and he looked at me as I took my place in front of Tazuna.
" She would still fight with them, and how do you know her?" Kakashi asked.
" When she went to Mist, I met her, she befriended someone I know, so she became my friend." he answered, and my team looked at me as I slid lower into my battle stance.
" Kakashi, I can't fight him." I told him, " All I can do is protect Tazuna."
" What do you mean, you can't fight him?" Sasuke asked.
" He is one of the only friends I have, I can't fight him. He means too much to me." I told them, and then I felt Haku around too, but decided I would say nothing of Haku. He meant more to me than Zabuza did.
" Mitsukai, focus on the mission." Sakura told me.
" Shutup, you don't know what this is like." I hissed, and Zabuza smirked as he and Kakashi began to fight. I closed my eyes and as Zabuza came at Tazuna, I performed an old jutsu.
" Tamasii style! Spirit Barrier of darkness!" I called and an astral barrier made of the shadows appeared around Tazuna, deflecting Zabuza's guillotine.
" Good, Mitsukai, good!" Kakashi called, and I sighed. It was killing me inside.
" Water prison!" Zabuza yelled, and I held my hand out towards where my uncle was.
" Spirit Barrier of light!" I called and it almost made it to my uncle, but he was trapped.
" Come on, Mitsukai, you can fight me." Zabuza said, " But you know, I don't go easy on anyone."
I sighed, and dropped the barrier, and my eyes grew clouded.
" Fine." I said, and my team looked at me, and closed my eyes as his clone stood before me.
" Have fun." he whispered, and I slide down, and took out a needle with a bell and one without it, the one with the bell went at the clone, and the real Zabuza apparently noticed the one going towards him.
" Mitsukai, forget me..." Kakashi began.
" No! You are the only family I have!" I called to him, continuing my battle.
" Fine, Sasuke! Help her!" he called, and Sasuke went at Zabuza and when he was take in his hand.
" No way." I whispered. " Tamasii style! Spirit trade."
He and I switched placed and I stabbed a senbon in his wrist and the clone disappeared.
" I see you do fight with anticipation." Zabuza said to me and I shook my head.
" Tamasii style! One million needles of darkness!" I called. His eyes widened, and he dropped the prison as my shadow turned into a million senbon, and rained on Zabuza and tears fell from my eyes.
" Ninja aren't supposed to show emotion." Sasuke reminded me, but it didn't stop the tears from falling.
" Go back to Tazuna." I said to him, softly and kindly.
He nodded and left me where I was standing. I hit my knees as Kakashi and Zabuza fought, and I could hardly bring myself to watch it, but then I saw Haku standing in a tree not too far from where we were, and when I looked at him, he was wearing his ANBU mask and he hit Zabuza in non leathal pressure ponts.
I stood up, and listened to him talk to them, and when he looked at me, I shivered a little, and wiped the tears from my eyes, and when he disappeared, we began off towards Tazuna's house.
" Kakashi-sensei!" Sakura yelled, and I looked to see my uncle on the ground there.
Days later.
" Mitsukai..." a voice came. I had been sitting in the moonlight, my feet dangling over the docks, and I was watching the water. I looked up, my eyes were red from the tears I had cried, and I saw Sasuke.
" Here to tell me a ninja doesn't show emotions again?" I asked him. Naruto had an outburst on Inari, Tazuna's grandson, and it hurt Mitsukai more than he was illuded to believe.
" No, I came out here to check on you. Since that fight with Zabuza you aren't acting cold towards anyone, and I want to know why... I want to know what has changed." he said, and I shook my head.
" Nothing has changed, something is just taking over, something that has always been there." I told him.
" Tell me?" he asked me, gently, and I gave him a look.
" Alright, but you may think of me differently." I said, and he nodded. " There is a demon angel in me... I am the sacrifice meant to keep our village safe."
He nodded. " You are?"
" Yes, protecting people is in my blood." I told him, " And my personality change... well, it's the angel taking over."
He was a little shocked. " You... you are... truly different."
" I know." I said to him. " And tomorrow is a different day."
" Will you still be this way?" he asked.
I smiled a little. " Why?"
" Because, this you, seems more natural." he replied, smiling a little, and getting up.
" Oh, Sasuke." I said.
" Yeah?" he asked.
" I don't hate you." I told him, and he smiled, walking inside.
