The next day, Jamie awoke as normal, but was dreadfully negative due to the previous events.

"If I could just be as confident as I was with Keith then there wouldn't be this problem," she thought, "not that Keith and I ever did things like that but still." She thought as she blew her hair dry.
After straightening her hair and putting on her uniform, she inspected herself in the mirror. Her figure had shrunken width wise, only a little though, in a way that only she would notice or anyone who memorized her body shape.
"I haven't been eating as much as I used to, well this is a more positive thing to think about now." Jamie thought as she walked out the door, heading towards school.
The school day went about normally, Jamie paid attention in her classes, but only understood about half of it, her peers mocked her, but Raito was no where to be found.
"Maybe he's sickor perhaps some sort of meeting for the valedictorians." Jamie thought as she headed for the cafeteria.
Once inside, she sat at her normal table in the back by herself, "I guess he is sick." She thought as she opened her smart box.
She sipped on the juice box when she suddenly heard.
"Hey, where have you been all day?"
She looked to see Raito standing beside her.
"Me? Where have you been? I haven't seen you all day!"
"I was late coming to school." Raito said then sat down.
"That's a first then, you're never late." Jamie noticed.
He just shrugged, "Listen, after school I have to be somewhere so I want you to go to my house and watch the notebook for me." Raito said in a low voice so no one could hear.
"What am I his servant now?" Jamie thought, nodding.
"Good, I have to go now as well."
"What the heck are you doing?"
"Graduation stuff for the Honor Role kids."
"Ah, okay, see ya then." Raito nodded then walked off.
Jamie sighed, and then got up as well, throwing her filled box of food away. Then bell rang, releasing the swarm of high school children to their final class of the day.
Jamie decided to cut the last class and just sit around since she didnt want to deal with the whispers from the jealous girls.
She went to the grassy area where she and Raito discovered the Death Note.
"What would have happened if he never picked it up? He probably wouldn't have wasted his time on me then and likely as not I would have killed myself."
She sat down on a comfortable patch of grass, and brought out a book to read. Before she could finish the first sentence however, she felt a force fall beside her things and an "Oof" sound.
When she looked she saw that a person had fallen over from her backpack.
"Oh, I'm terribly sorry." Jamie said as she moved her backpack and scooted away.
When the figure stood Jamie saw that it was a girl, but not only a girl, but a foreigner like Jamie was as well.
"Me first day and I already trip, bloody hell." An English foreigner.
Jamie looked up at her, expecting the foreign girl to scold her for keeping her backpack out, but the girl just smiled.
"Hey come on, can't take a joke there mate?" Jamie took her bag then walked further away from the girl.
"If you know what's good for you, you'll not associate with me. I would suggest you go to your class and make friends there."
"But I barely speak Japanese! And...um, I was just wondering if maybe...you could help me adapt a little" She said, suddenly changing her demeanor.
"Cut the crap, I can tell when someone's acting since I used to be one." Jamie said coldly to her.
Jamie turned her head so she could see the girls' reaction, she was just looking down.
"All right, you got me, but I still would rather stay with someone who at least speaks English!"
"She has a point" Jamie thought.
She turned back around, "All right fine. I'll believe you, but I still say you're better off with-"
Before Jamie could finish her sentence, she was knocked to the grass by a tight hug from the other girl.
"Thank you! We'll be the best of friends!!!" Jamie blinked, and then sat up, pushing her away a little bit.
"Anyway...what's your name?" Jamie asked.
"I'm Faye, Faye Keisley." She said as she outstretched her hand.
"Hi, I'm Jamie Ricci." Jamie said, shaking her hand.
Faye grinned at her, and then asked "So what class do you have?"
"I'm ditching actually." Jamie said as-a-matter-of-factly.
Faye laughed, "Really? May I with you then?" she asked smiling.
Jamie shrugged then walked away from her; she followed and asked, "Where are we going to go?"
"I don't know, I was just going to go home, but I guess we can just look around."
"Oh, I know a really good coffee shop that is around the corner!" Faye said excitedly.
"Um...sure we can go there." Jamie replied, a little creped out by the girls excitement. They left the school, turned the corner and began window shopping at the Japanese shops.
LOLOMGWTFBBQ
The girls were shopping for a good hour when they finally crashed at the coffee shop.
It was a small shop, but had a lot of different things to choose from, not just coffee. There were also many sweets such as cupcakes and muffins, or Cubyrop and Sugared Onigiri.
"Is it sad that I expected a place like this to exist in Japan?" Jamie thought as she sat down in a booth.
Faye stood in line, and then turned to Jamie, "Aren't you going to get anything?"
Jamie shook her head, since she didn't want to ruin her new figure.
"Now that I'm a little smaller, maybe I won't get picked on as much..." She thought.
Faye shrugged then got herself a drink. She sat down across from Jamie. It was an awkward silence, and then suddenly a news report flashed across the screen. It was hard to decipher what they were discussing, but both girls heard the word 'Kira'.
Faye then turned back to Jamie, "What's your opinion on Kira?" she said in a more serious tone.
"Well...I think that criminals should be punished, but not so much that they are killed. I think that they should be given a chance to try and repent for their crimes, if they are lying and do it again, then they can die." Jamie replied.
"So you're both for and against him?" Faye asked.
"I guess so, I mean even though their criminals, those are still human lives, and they shouldn't be taken away so easily." Jamie said.
Faye nodded, "I agree with that, besides its good to be on both sides of things. If you're too set on one thing, then it just means you're ignorant."
Both girls laughed a little and continued to discuss matters of the Kira case. Finally, they stood and walks out of the shop.
"Did you want to go anywhere else?" Jamie asked.
"Well...I know a cute little anime store if you dont mind. Do you like anime?"
Jamie looked down at her feet, thinking how she should answer this. Since the teasing started, she didn't want to give the girls a reason more to mock her, so she decided to give up everything she liked. Her favorite TV shows that included some anime, her favorite foods, movies, celebrities, etc. She tore down all her posters in her room, her wall scrolls, magazines, everything and threw it away. She felt so ashamed of herself because she was able to break so easily...
"I used to, but I got over it. But we can go inside, I dont mind." Jamie replied with a small smile.
"Why did you give it up?" Faye asked, opening the door to the shop.
"I just did..." Jamie said as she walked inside.
The store was very tall. There was wall scrolls hanging everywhere that showed a lot of animes from Sailor Moon to Dragon Ball Z to Cardcaptors to Tokyo Mew Mew! Faye gave a small squeak then went to town, looking all around the store, while Jamie followed slowly, looking at the toys and books that she used to obsess over.
She went over to the bookshelves and dragged her fingertips over the books she loved. Fruits Basket, D. Gray-Man, Kingdom Hearts, Bleach, Trinity Blood, Full Metal Alchemist, and Ouran High School Host Club, all the things she gave up because of her choking on a fear of difference. All things she hid away because she couldn't be proud.
"Hey, you okay?" Faye asked suddenly popped up behind her, carrying three bags full of things that she already bought. Jamie nodded, as she turned away from the manga.
"Hey, I got you something!" Faye said, as she dug into one of the bags. Jamie looked at her, Faye presented a small plushy of Alphonse from Full Metal Alchemist.
Jamie thanked her and took the doll. Alphonse was someone she really liked from FMA, so it made her feel worse that she gave him up so easily.
"Oh, shoot its three. I should probably go, don't want me mum worried." Faye said.
Jamie looked at her, "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow then?" She asked as they headed for the door. The girls said their goodbye's then walked in separate directions.
"Oh crap, I have to go check on the notebook! Damn, Raito's gonna be pissed." Jamie thought as she rushed towards his house.
PKMN RLZ!

Holy crap, I'm so stressed out. But at least I finally got this out and I'm so very sorry for keeping you all.
Yeah, I know you all just wat Raito, so never mind my problems
