READ MEMO!
Josh looked up at you pitifully but didnt say anything. The gleam in his eyes showed you that it pained him to tell you this for some reason. Maybe he didnt want to hurt you? Whatever it was he knew must've been something bad if he was hesitant to say it.
After moments of waiting you got annoyed, "Just tell me already!"
"Draco," He began, "He's not faithful"
You narrowed your eyes, "What do you mean he's not faithful?"
"He's with another girl, thats what I mean!" Josh blurted out
You stayed still for a second, shocked at what he was just telling you "What are you talking about? Draco's crazy about me, he wouldnt do that. And how would you know anyways? Are you stalking him or something?"
Ahaha, Josh the stalker...good times, good times
"What? No! I saw him and Ashley in the library the other day...doing more than just studying" Josh replied
You got closer to him "Ashley?" you began, "He was with Ashley?"
"Yea. They were in there Tuesday, a little later than midnight" Josh seemed sad at the fact you had to find out.
You took what he said and analyzed it, "Tuesday? Thats impossible because I was in the library Tuesday serving detention after midnight. I would've seen them, dont you think?"
"They must've seen you then," Josh defended himself, "Draco and Ashley probably hid from you so you wouldnt have seen them"
"I dont think thats possible, Josh. I was cleaning out every bookshelf in the entire library and so I was around the whole room. I would have noticed something moving, especially since it was the middle of the night" You replied
"But I saw them together, Haley! Believe me when I say that its the truth. Draco is cheating on you!" Josh exclaimed, getting frustrated that you didnt believe him.
You scoffed, "Yea, and this is coming from the guy that did cheat on me"
You heard Josh sigh, "I know what I did in the past was horrible but right now I am telling the truth. Why would I lie about this?"
"Oh I dunno, maybe because you want to break me and Draco up?" You retorted angrily
"I'm not the vengeful type" he replied
"Oh, sure you're not" you replied sarcastically, "Because every deatheater doesnt seek out for vengeance"
Josh's jaw clenched for a moment and he seemed angry, but he pulled himself together and calmed down, "Please, let's not talk about that"
"I wouldnt have to if you just drop the subject" you began, "Look, I know Draco isn't cheating on me so maybe what you saw in the library was Ashley with some other guy"
"Alright, I'll drop it" he said softly. You smiled and continued walking over towards Snape who was leading the partners out to the Forbidden Forest.
"If only you knew" Josh said to himself as he saw you walk away.
Snape had led the entire group of Ravenclaw and Slytherins out to the Forbidden Forest. The whole walk was tiring since he led you to some very secluded part of the area. He said that most of the things would be able to retrieve in that particular place and that it was the most convenient. Coming from Snape, you didnt trust that statement so much.
"Have you found that knotgrass yet?" You asked Josh while inspecting some unusual plants over by a stream.
"Nope" he replied, "But I have found the Alihotsy leaves"
"Thats part of the list?" you asked while grabbing the list of ingredients out of the rucksack and inspecting it, "Doesnt that cause hysteria to anyone who consumes it or something?"
Josh shrugged
"Why would he want these?" you questioned.
"Well its Snape, you should expect it by now" Josh replied with a smile. You laughed
"Yea I guess. But enough talk, we have to find the Knotgrass!" You continued walking around the area you were in, searching for the stupid plant. The list of ingredients also included a picture so you knew exactly how it looked like.
"Oh, I think I found it!" Josh exclaimed, standing over a tall plant that looked like a piece of celery, "Is it what we're looking for?"
You walked over to where Josh was standing and inspected the weird looking thing. You looked back to the list of ingredients and scanned the pages, "No but it is something else!" you replied gleefully
"Really? What is it?" Josh replied
"Its Lovage" you replied vaguely.
"Lovage?" Josh replied, "What the bloody hell is that?"
You laid the list down and read from it "Lovage is a tall plant in the Apiaceae family. Its appearance and taste are both similar to celery. Lovage is particularly useful for inflaming the brain, so is consequently used in Confusing and Befuddlement Draughts, and more generally in potions where the intended effects is one of rashness and recklessness"
Josh nodded his head, "Alright, youre the smart one here so just grab it"
You bent over and tugged at the tall plant as you ripped it off of its root. It was planted on the ground firmly and was stubborn to rip off. You were definitely not strong, so this took a while. From the back, you could tell Josh was enjoying the view and you smirked at this.
"Like what you see?" you replied playfully as you heaved at it one more time. It finally broke off.
Josh smirked "Who wouldnt"
You shook your head and laughed as you continued making your way through the whole forest. So far, your day was going pretty well. You and Josh seemed to be getting along well but this was only going to be a one time thing. After this stupid task, you weren't going to associate with him again. You couldnt, after all, he was a deatheater.
"So what's next?" you asked as you looked back at Josh. He was behind you
"Um..."He scanned the list, "We still need a lot of things"
You rolled your eyes, "No shit Sherlock"
He glared at you, "Watch the language" you laughed, "Anyways, why dont we continue trying to find the Knotgrass and then move on to Fluxweed"
"How about finding the Fluxweed first?" you suggested, "I'm tired of looking for that grass thing"
Josh laughed, "Alright. It says that Fluxweeds' are usually found by small creeks or streams.
"Well we were over by a stream before, lets go back there" you walked back over to where you were merely moments before. You were getting pretty tired from this long assignment but you wouldnt give up just yet. You wanted to beat the Slytherins, and you would.
Ravies are so much better than Slythies.

Josh walked over to the stream and began searching for the damp little thing. You followed him and joined him on the search, bending down to get a closer view. In your opinion, you looked like a bunch of chickens the way you were walking.
"Hey, is it this?" You pointed over to a small weed-like plant growing in the middle of the stream.
Josh looked at the picture given in the list of ingredients "Yup, thats the one"
You looked over towards Josh "But its in the middle of the stream, how are we supposed to get it?"
"I have no clue" he replied
"Well then, be a gentleman and go get it" You smirked
Josh stared at you as if you were crazy "What!? And get wet? I think not"
"Oh come on" you pouted and gave him the puppy dog face, "Please?"
Josh looked away, trying not to fall for it "Oh no, not the lip" you started laughing
"Come on, josh!" You insisted, "If you wont do it for Snape then would you at least do it for me?"
Josh sighed and debated on that for a bit, "Fine" he sighed, "But its not for you. Its because I want to beat those Slytherins"
"So your doing this for Snape instead of me?" you asked.
"Basically, yea" Josh smirked
You rolled your eyes, "Well thats nice to know"
Josh walked over to the flowing stream and tried as hard as he could not to get wet. He grabbed a long stick he found lying around on the floor and used it, trying to either loosen the plant off its root and bring it closer to him.

"Did you get it?" You questioned, peering over towards Josh
"Not quite" Josh continued to struggle. He leaned in further into the edge of the ground, trying to stretch his arm out so the branch could touch the plant. As he did so, his body went tumbling down into the water, creating huge waves and a gigantic splash.
"Josh!" you ran over towards him, trying to suppress a laugh "Are you alright?"
He emerged from the water, gasping for air as he did so. "This is all your doing, Haley"
You half-smiled "Sorry" You held out a hand for him to take
An evil grin formed on his face as he took your hand. You stared at him oddly, but once he grabbed your hand, he pulled you forcefully into the water with him.
"JOSH!" you barked as you surfaced, "What was that for?!"
"Well if I got wet then I figured you did too. You, after all, made me get the stupid thing" Josh smirked as he went over to grab the Fluxweed.
"Augh! Your such an idiot" you replied while laughing a bit, "Now I'm all wet!"
"Oh and I'm not?" Josh pointed to his body
"You are but its freezing! And you can take your shirt off to dry since youre a guy but I cant!" You replied
"I wouldnt mind at all if you took off your shirt" Josh replied with a smirk. You smacked him playfully
"You know, you act a lot like Malfoy sometimes. Creepy" You smiled a bit.
"Is that a good or a bad thing?" Josh questioned
You began to get out of the stream "A mixture of both" you replied
Josh fought his way to get out of the water before you but you wouldnt allow it. You pushed him back into the water and struggled to push yourself up to the ground again. As you finally made it up, Josh came up abruptly as well, catching you off guard and tumbling you both to the ground.
Josh landed on top of you. He stayed there for a while, just looking into each other's eyes. You felt his face get closer to you by the second but before he did anything, you stopped him, "Uh....could you get off me?" You shuffled around under him and moved your head to the side, purposely letting him miss your lips.
"Oh, right. Sorry" He said, blushing a shade of red. You guessed that he felt embarrassed for trying to make a move on you.
You ran your hands through your wet hair, "Its alright"
You shivered, It was beyond freezing. You were trembling as the frigid air whipped your skin roughly, almost knocking you down as it did. You sat down on the ground, wrapping your arms around yourself in attempt to keep yourself warm. You shivered from the cold and you couldnt feel your toes.
"So what now?" you asked over towards Josh who was blowing warm air into his hands and rubbing them together.
"I guess we have to continue looking for those items. its the only thing we could possibly do" Josh replied, getting up from the ground.
You nodded your head and followed after him, shivering on the way.
Stupid Snape and his stupid tasks.
You and Josh continued searching for the items listed. It had been thirty minutes since the whole water incident but you were still soaking wet. It was a very sunny day today but the sun didnt have much effect on your clothes. They were still wet as ever but colder. The brisk air had been freezing you and Josh up.
You began hearing some voices nearby voices where you were standing. They were very familiar and you recognized them as somebody you knew. Curiously, you followed the sound until you saw two people.
"Ash? Draco?" You ran over to them with a smile on your face.
"Haley!" Ashley exclaimed, going up to hug you. She immediately stopped once seeing how wet you were, "Why are you all wet?"
You pointed a finger over to Josh who just catching up to you, "Blame him"
"You mean Browning did this to you?" Draco sneered, "I'm going to kill him!"
Draco began to charge over to Josh but you restrained him, "Hold it there! Its not all his fault, okay?"
Malfoy furrowed his eyebrows, "What are you talking about? You just said to blame it on him"
"Well he didnt really have that much to do with it," you were sticking up for him because you knew how out of control Draco could get.
"But he did do something" Draco retorted, clenching his fists.
"Draco, Draco stop!" you stopped him from charging at Josh, "Just let it go, alright?"
Draco stared at you oddly, "Why are you defending him?"
"I-I'm not"
"Yes you are" Draco replied
You sighed, "Oh whatever, its a one time thing"
You heard Ashley laugh slightly from afar and you rolled your eyes. You envied her for looking dry and warm while you were wet and cold.
"I know just the spell to dry you up," Ashley took out her wand and chanted some words. Immediately, you were dry again, "There you go, all better"
"Thanks!" you exclaimed as you hugged her, "Where'd you learn that spell from?"
"Oh it was just something I had up my sleeve" she replied with a smile.
"So what have you guys collected so far?" You were curious as to how far they were coming along.
Ashley opened up her rucksack revealing an empty bag, "We dont have much"
"You dont have anything!" you exclaimed, "What have you guys been doing these past hours?" you questioned
Ashley and Draco exchanged flirtatious looks and smirked, "Oh nothing..." Ashley began mischievously, "We're just not as keen as you are when it comes to finding things"
"So your just going to let the Slytherins lose?" You asked
"Well we have other people that will find stuff" Draco replied
You rolled your eyes, "Geez, you guys are so lazy"
"Its what a Malfoy does best" Draco smirked smugly
You laughed, "So I've noticed"
In the back, you heard someone clear their throat, "Come on, Haley" Josh motioned for you to come, "We have to get going"
You took one last glance over to Draco and Ashley, "Well I'll catch up with you two later, I have to continue searching for this stupid knotgrass thing!"
"Wait!" you heard Draco exclaim before you left.
"Yea?" As soon as you stopped, Draco grabbed you by the waist and pulled you in for a soft, passionate kiss. You immediately responded, resting your hands on his neck and playing with his cheek. He parted your lips, begging for permission and you obliged. Within moments your tongues were entwined together. Your fun soon stopped when you heard Josh clear his throat again.
Rest In Results
"Sorry Josh" You half-smiled, "I'll be right there"
You broke away from Draco hesitantly and smiled before walking away. Draco stared coldly at Josh for interrupting your snog, and Josh returned the glare. You noticed the envious gleam in Josh's eyes telling you he was upset by the kiss you and Draco shared. You felt bad but you didnt need to. Draco was your boyfriend, not Josh.
"So...." There was an awkward silence between the two of you at the moment, "How many more things do we need to find?" you asked
"A lot" Josh replied vaguely with a bitter voice.
"Oh really? I had no idea" you replied sarcastically, "Seriously, how many more items do we have to find?"
Josh finally looked up at you, "About thirty"
You sighed, "So you mean we've only found ten of them?!"
"Yep, but they were ten difficult ones" Josh replied with a smile, trying to cheer you up. You were glad that Josh forgave easily and was on good terms with you within seconds. His jealousy didnt last very long.
"This is definitely going to be a long day"
Well, this part was fun to write! I'm actually surprised i got this out on the targeted date considering my broken computer and everything. I hope you all liked it! The next one should be out pretty soon, it will be part (c). Yes, chapter 41 does have three parts. Anyways, what do you think? Do you think Draco really is cheating on her or is Josh just lying?
