"Belle Black Bear." Patrick said in a sing-song voice. "Wake up."
My eyes fluttered open. It took me a minute to remember where I was. Pete and Patrick's hotel room. I was supposed to be going to boarding school today. What the hell made Adam think I would go? I mean, I'm 19, I graduated last year. I wanna be a singer for a band. Not the kind of thing you go to boarding school for.
"Breakfast?" Pete asked.
"Pete, we're leaving in an hour." Patrick laughed. "I think you can wait. Besides, we have an extra person."
"My Bellykins."
I giggled. "Bellykins?"
"Yeah."
"Mmkay, Peteykins."
He gave me a look.
"Hehe." I laughed at him.
Please leave all overcoats, canes, and top hats with the doorman.
"You two take forever to get ready!" Patrickk exclaimed.
Pete and I were in the bathroom applying eyeliner. We looked at each other and burst out laughing. "Looking this beautiful takes effort, mmkay? So shut up." Pete said. With a totally straight face, might I add.
"We're meeting lover boy, Jon, Spencer, and Ryan at the airport." Patrick told me.
"You shouldn't have told her that, it'll take longer." Pete laughed.
"Nah, I'm ready." I told them and threw the eyeliner in my bag. "I'll be good as long as Adam doesn't show up. He should have figured out that I'm not there by now."
"Yeah, I guess." Pete said to me.
"So are we ready yet?"
"Yes Patrick!"
From that moment you'll be out of place and underdressed.
"Belle!" I heard as we walked into the airport. I looked around and saw Ryan and the guys. Spencer ran to me and picked me up in a hug.
"I'll miss you."
I giggled. "Dude, I'll be gone for like a week. I just need some time to get an apartment."
"Aaand," Brendon said. "Tour's in a few weeks. We'll see her then. You know, cause they just got signed."
He was right. The newer bands signed to Fueled By Ramen and Decaydance always went on a tour every summer. Together. And Panic! was going too. Here's to an... interesting summer.
I'm wrecking this evening, and loving every minute of it.
"So I'll see you soon." Ryan said.
"Can I tell you something?" I asked.
"Anything."
"I love you." I whispered in his ear.
"I love you too."
And then we had the most amazing kiss ever.
