~Your pov~
When Hao slowly turns his head, you flinched. His pupils were white with anger as his face held a murderous and cold expression. Just by glancing at him send you trembling with fear.
"Release her."
Hao whispered deadly as Matilda and Marion quickly released you and fell backward, all three of them trembling with fear as they saw the other side of Asakura Hao for the first time.
"So you finally show yourself?"
Ren said with a smirk as he took out this pole from his yellow suit and threw it out as the joints connected to reveal a spear.
'S-Spear!?'
You gasp in your mind as you look at the blade, then back at Ren.
"So you've finally come out and fight me for real now, I take it."
Ren said and that was the last straw for that Hao had snapped.
"How dare you use her as a lure?"
Hao said in a deadly tone as Team Flower quickly scurry off with fear as Ren charge at Hao in attempt to stab him as you gasped.
"Now fight me with your real strength, Asakura Hao!"
Ren shouted as you panic. Hao on the other hand, just stood there calmly, not moving an inch. At the last moment, he quickly clap his hands on the sides of the blade and with a swift movement, he spin the blade in another direction, forcing it out of Ren's grip and threw it aside.
"Nani!?"
Ren gasped as Hao disappeared, reappearing behind Ren so fast that none of you could even react as Hao quickly did a spin kick in the air and hit Ren right in his chest, forcing him onto the wall as blood flew out of his lips. Slowly, you watched as Ren slide down, unconscious as Hao stare at him for a minute before walking back to you. However, you still notice the angry expression on his face. Quickly catching your frightened look, his anger melted away, replace by his usual soft expression.
He suddenly said as he gently helps you up. "Daijobu? Kega wa nai?" He asked as you nodded slightly, but flinched when he touched your shoulder where Marion held you. Noticing you still shivering with fear, Hao's expression softened more as he pulls you into an embrace to calm you down.
"Gomen......"
"I-Iie....it's not your fault....anyone would have misunderstood....."
You quickly said as Hao stare at you for a minute before sighing softly.
"I apologize for doubting you. I let my instinct took over and acted without thinking....."
He whispered softly, burying his face in your hair as he patiently waited until he felt your body's trembling stopped.
"Feeling better now?"
He asked, pulling away as you blushed and nodded slightly.
"A-Arigatou gozaimasu...."
"You had a rough day, let's go home."
"Eh? D-Demo gakkou wa....?"
"After what happened, it'll be best if you take the day off. And if I don't accompany you, you might be in trouble again."
Hao replied as you stare at Ren, then at him as you thanked him softly.

~Later~
After Hao told the school you're not feeling well and that he had to accompany, you two returned to the Asakura resident. The first thing you did was gone to you room as you gently lay down on your bed, wanting some rest after such tiring day. First Hao confessed his feelings to you, then Ryuu showed up who tries to take you by force, and the Team Flower tries to ruin your relationship with Hao and now Tao Ren who tried to slice Hao in half with a real spear. All these just happened so suddenly that you didn't know what to do or how you should react to it. While you think, you started to drift off without even knowing it.
~Hao's pov~
Seeing how Ayame looks tire, I made some soup and carried it to her room. After a while of knocking and hearing no respond, I gently slide open the door to see her lying on her bed, her back facing me. From her pattern of breathing and how still she was, I assume that she was asleep. Quietly, I walk over, placing the trey of hot soup next to me as I peer over her. Like I thought, she was sound asleep, carrying that innocent face which made me smiled.
Taking a blanket out of the cover, I carefully spread it over her body, making sure she won't catch a cold sleeping like this. After that, I carefully took the trey of soup and walk out of her room. Before closing the door, I look back at her once last time as visions of how Ren almost touch her made my blood boil.
"Hao."
I suddenly heard as I turn to see Yoh, Horo Horo, Anna and Manta there but I quickly put a finger over my lip to signal them to quiet down.
