~Your pov~
Near the end of the game, Hao had scored the last 3 points, winning the tournament. When the game ended, you were about to turn away until one boy from Hao's team told you that Hao wanted to see you later. So right now, you stood by the main doors of the school, waiting for Hao. However, as you stood there, you couldn't help notice all the girls glaring daggers at you as they walk by.
"Oi, you have some guts."
You heard a familiar voice said as you look up to see Team Flower standing in front of you.
"You don't learn your lesson do you?"
Matilda said with a glare.
"Honto."
Marion added emotionlessly as the blue haired girl took a step closer to you as you back away.
"This is the last time I'll repeat this, stay away from Hao-sama or you'll regret it."
With that, the trio walked away with a warning as you stare at the ground. That moment, you gasped as you felt a pain shot through your shoulder. Turning around slightly, you saw Hao, staring at you with worries as he gently remove his hand off of your shoulder. "Gomen, I didn't know you hurt your shoulder as well." He said in a whisper as he looks around.
"It's alright.....you don't have to apologize."
You quickly said as Hao suddenly grabbed your hand and pull you around the corner, taking the back exit of the gate.
"H-Hao.....what's wrong?"
"Do you rather we walk in a crowd of people?"
He asked and you knew right away what he meant. If he's seen, then you two will be trapped in a crowd of Hao's fans and it'll take forever to get back."
After a while, you both walk out of the back gate of the school, into the lonely street.
"Arigatou. If you weren't there.I may not be able to continue on."
Hao suddenly said as you turn to him.
"T-This has nothing to do with me so you don't have to tha-"
"It does. And a great deal I may add."
Hao quickly replied, cutting you off as you look at him.
"G-Gomen nasai.....I missed almost the entire game."
"Demo, you came. That's what matters."
Hao replied as you look at him and smiled a little, feeling much better.
"And you got into trouble because of me."
"E-Eh?"
"You didn't think I won't notice those glares you've receive, did you?"
"I-It's alright.....I'm use to it.....in my old school....except that they don't hate me....just....."
You whispered, trailing off as you two continue to walk down the street.
"So tell me Ayame.....how did you get these injuries ? "
Hao suddenly asked as you froze. "Ayame?" Hao said, stopping as he turns to you.
"I-It's a bit embarrassing...."
"Hmm.....Ja, let's hear it then."
Hao said as you sweat dropped. You were hoping he decided not to ask but there's no way you could lie so sighing softly, you retold Hao how you try to help a lost dori back to its nest. After hearing it, Hao just smiled softly at this.
"So you saved the little guy and took a heavy fall off the tree.....it's not every day you see someone do that, risking their welfare over a little animal."
"I-I..."
"Were you expecting me to laugh at you?"
"W-Well.....I-...."
"There's nothing to laugh about. You're really kind to do such thing."
He said as you blushed slightly and quickly looks away. "Well then, let's have Anna clean you up when we get back." "A-Anna-san?" You shuttered softly as Hao smiled at you.
"Unless you want me or Yoh to help you, that's fine too."
He said teasingly as your face flush and quickly shook your head, causing Hao to chuckle.
"Daijobu. I'll talk to her and make sure she doesn't do anything to you."
Rest in result
"A-Anna-san.....i-itai....."
You whispered as Anna scrub your back roughly with a wet towel.
"Urusai."
She said sternly as you quickly quiet down and feel Anna continues to wash your back. Then all the sudden, Anna stopped. as you felt her finger rubbing against your lower back.
"A-Anna-san?"
You shutter and wince as you felt her finger trying to make out something.

"Nothing...."
You heard Anna said as you gasp, feeling the towel scrubbing your back again and the pain returns. After she finished with your back, she dumped a bucket of water over your head as you flinched at the sudden hot water.
"There, I finished rubbing the medicine."
Anna said coldly as she walks off, roughly sliding the door open.
"A-Argiatou....Anna-san."
You said as Anna look back at you for a while before looking away and said,
"If you really want to thank, thank that baka."
With that, she slides the door shut as you heard her footstep fading away. After a while of staring, you walk into the huge bath tub and lead against the edge as you gently place a wet cloth over your eyes, leaning back to relax your body.
~Later~
After taking a nice bath to relax your muscles, you quickly hurried to the kitchen to prepare dinner.
"Potato....where is it?"
You whispered as you look through the refrigerator until someone tapped your shoulder as you turn to meet Hao.
"H-Hao."
You whispered as Hao smiled at you and place the things you took out back into the refrigerator as you stare at him, confused. "Anna and Yoh already ate while were gone." Hao stated as you stare at him, then notice the washed dishes.
"Souka...."
"Come."
"Eh? To where?"
"Eat of course, unless you want to starve that is."
"D-Demo...I can-"
"Take a break, Ayame. We'll go out to eat."
Hao said as you started at the ground before nodding a bit and head for your room.
"J-Ja...I'll go get my money a-"
"Daijobu."
Hao said and before you know it, you're being dragged out of the house and into the street.
"E-Eh? D-Demo....Ha-"
"It's on me."
Hao simply said, cutting you off as you two arrived at a bus stop and wait for the bus. You two just stood in silent, waiting as the bus soon came. Hao paid for both of you as you two sat in the very back where it's empty. There aren't much people on the bus so it was quiet.

"A-Arigatou."
You whispered as Hao replied with a soft smile, causing you to blush and quickly look away.
"Your bruises.....do they still hurt?"
"I-Iie.....They feel much better now."
You quickly said as Hao smiled.
"D-Demo.....you should worry about your arm.....you're more injure than I am."
You counter back as Hao's smile widen. That moment, you both heard a laugh as you two look up to see an old man sitting on the seat at the very front, laughing at you two. You could clearly tell that he was a ghost by the transparency and the fact that he has no legs.
"Hahaha!!! Couples these days are so adorable, heh?"
"Yeah!"
Another voice said as you two notice an old woman, also a ghost, sitting on the opposite side of the old man.
"C-Couple?"
You whispered as you and Hao exchange look, then you quickly look away as you stare at the ground, blushing, while Hao merely smiled at you, though you're not aware of it.
