"*Gasp* H-Hai!?"
You shuttered in surprise as you look down to see Manta. "What's wrong? You've been staring at that ticket for 10 full minutes." Manta said as you look down in your palm to see the basketball tournament ticket. Quickly, you shove it into your pocket and quickly shook your head as Manta look at you, but dropped the subject and said, "Are you going to eat lunch?" "E-Eh?" You whispered in surprise as your eyes widened, but quickly wipe the surprised expression from your face as you smiled and nodded. Quickly grabbing your lunch, Manta and you headed for the cafeteria as you continuously stare at him. Finally, you decided to rip your glaze from Manta before he notice.
At the cafe, when you two walk in, you instantly saw Yoh and Horo Horo there, waving while Anna just sat there. Hao like usual, was no where to be found. "Ja, lets start!" Yoh said as Horo Horo quickly nodded as you stare at them. 'T-They were waiting for me to get here.....?' You thought in more surprise but didnt say a word as you silently open your lunch box.
"Wow!!!! This looks great!!"
Horo Horo exclaimed as you smiled a bit and look to Anna to see if she have any objection, but she just pick up her chopstick and ate. Sighing in relieve in your mind, you pick up your chopsticks and said, "Itadakimasu." With that, you started to eat.
~Hao's pov~
"Itai."
I muttered as I look at my right arm. I can't pick up my chopstick at all as I sighed softly. The wound seems to have gotten more serious. I could see that a part is swollen under the bandage. 'Will I be able to play?' I thought as I stare at the clouds.
~Your pov~
"Ayame, what's wrong?"
"E-Eh?"
You said as you snapped out as you turn to Yoh. "You've been staring out the window." Manta said as you look back at the clear sky. ".....N-Nandemonai....Can I um....excuse myself?" "Eh? Where are you going?" Horo Horo asked as you look back at the sky. "I haven't seen the sky from here since I've came." You replied in a whisper as Anna gave you a slight nod. Smiling, you took your lunch box and quickly headed to your locker. Afterward putting your stuff in, you found a staircase that lead to the roof.
When you arrived, you gently close the door behind you as you walk over to the gate and peer down. Unlike other schools, like Sakura Secondary School, that most have two or three floors, Shaman High has five floors. Because of that, you have a better view over Tokyo than any other place. "It's beautiful." You whispered as the breeze brush past your face. Since you're high up, the air smell fresher and it's really refreshing.
"Ayame?"
You suddenly heard as you gasped softly in surprise, quickly turning around, but saw no one. Looking at the high roof top above the door, your eyes widened as you found Hao, sitting up there with his legs hanging over the edge.
"H-Hao?"

"I see you enjoy the view."
Hao said after he helped you up since there are no stairs and it is too high for you to get on by yourself. Nodding slightly, you look out to scenery as you heard the door open and close beneath you. "Souka.....no wonder no one were able to find you." You said as you and Hao sit in the center. "If you sit here of at the very back against the gate, you won't be seen at all." Hao explained as you nodded. But then, your eyes slowly trail to the lunch box lying next to Hao. The lid wasn't close properly so you could clearly see the untouched food in there.
"G-Gomen nasai....I didn't know you dislike today's lunch....."
"Hm?"
Hao said as he looks down at his lunch box, then back to you.
"Iie, that's not it. I love them. Actually, anything you cook taste good."
He said with a gentle laugh as your face flush in red. "It's just that I'm having a hard time picking up the chopsticks." Hao explained as you look at his wounded arm. "Demo....if you don't eat.....the tournament." You whispered as Hao thought for a minute. Suddenly, he seems to got an idea as he said,
"Ja, can you help me?"
"Eh? S-Sure....demo.....with what?"
~Later~
"Oishii."
Hao said with a smile as you sat there, your face entirely red as the lunch box sat on your lap, supported by your left hand while your right hand held onto the chopsticks. Your bodies were almost touching as you both sat side by side. There's only about a centimeter or so between you two. After you notice Hao swallowed the food, you slowly took another amount of food with your chopsticks. Steadily, you gently lift your hand up to Hao's lips. Smiling, Hao leaned in as you gently place the food into his mouth while blushing uncontrollably. "Are you feeling alright?" Hao asked once he swallowed his food as you quickly nodded and look down at the lunch box. Gently and carefully feeding Hao the last bit of food, you close the lunch box and gently wrap it up.
"Arigatou, Ayame."
Hao said with a smile as you blushed a bit. "Well, let's go, the bell will ring soon." Hao said as you nodded taking his lunch box into your arm, you watch him walk over to the edge. That moment, Hao jump into the air as your eyes widened as you gasped. This place was about 2.5 meters high but Hao just swiftly landed on his feet. On top of that, he must have jumped an extra half meter so basically, he fell from three meters high. You were really amazed how his bone didn't shatter even though he bended his knees to cushion the impact. Turning to you, Hao stretch out his left hand as you gently crouch down near the edge as you stare at Hao, then back at the ground.
"Daijobu, I won't let you fall."
He said as you nodded slightly, hesitating a bit before reaching your hand out. However, you couldn't reach his hand because of the distance. Holding the lunch box tighter in your other hand, you close your eyes and jump off. The minute you did, you felt yourself falling as fingers laced with your out stretched hand. With a tug, Hao pulls you towards him, causing you to hit against his chest as his other arm wrap around your waist to secure you. To prevent himself from falling and to ease the impact, he spun around once before gently setting you on your feet.

"Daijobu?"
Hao asked when he noticed you slowly opened your eyes. It took a while, but when you finally reacted, you gasped, blushing and quickly pull back from the embrace.
"H-Hai...A-Arigatou gozaimasu."
Riiiing
"Come on."
Hao said as he took the lunch box from your hand as you two hurry down the stairs to your class.
