[Chad Michael Murray] If we were a movie [#1: Calm before the storm]

"This is the final boarding call for American airlines, flight 705 with non-stop service to Wilmington. All confirmed passengers should be on board at this time."
I sighed, packed up my bag and walked through the gates, boarding the plane. I had been at the airport three hours already, but I had tried to postpone my departure as long as possible. When I had walked past the terminal, I had serious second thoughts about this trip, but I had been able to calm myself down and now that I entered the plane, I was down to just nervous. Really nervous.
I was going to Wilmington to visit my best friend, a trip that I had made at least five times the past year and a trip that I used to look forward to. But this time was different. This time would be the first time I would be seeing Chad again after what happened last September...
After finding my seat, I grabbed my I-pod out of my bag, put my bag into the luggage compartiment and fell into my chair. The woman who was sitting next to me smiled brightly, probably happy she had some company, aside from the guy who was already sleeping in the seat next to hers. But I was in no mood for chitchat, so I just smiled back politely and put in my earphones. Soon Muse found their way into my head. I closed my eyes and will enjoying the music, my thoughts drifted off to last September...
Flashback
"I cant believe you have to go home already !" Hilarie shouted. "Yeah, it feels like I just arrived here and now I have to go back already." I answered. "It has all gone so fast, I cant wait until youre coming back in November." Lee added. I was standing on the front porch of Chads house, ready to get to the airport. Our friends Lee, Sophia and Hilarie had stopped by to say goodbye to me.
"James and Joy told us to tell you theyre sorry they couldnt make it, but they were shooting a scene on the river court and that theyll miss you. And I am going to miss you too !" Sophia said as she pulled me into a hug. "Tell them not to worry, I understand. And I will be missing you to So !" I answered as I hugged her back. "And Ill miss you too ! What will I do without my going-crazy-dancing-and-singing-along-to-wrong-music buddy?" "Well, I guess youre bach to getting strange looks from people, because they think you are the only one as on earth to do that." I laughed as I pulled Hilarie into a big hug. Lee was the last one I wrapped my arms around. "Take care of yourself, Miss McGeddes." He whispered into my ear. Smiling I whispered back "I will if you will, Mr. Norris."
"If you want to catch that flight, we really have to go now." Chad had been packing my bags in the trunk of his Ford Mustang and then had been watching how I said my goodbyes. "I guess I have no other choice, now have I ?" I said before hugging my friends one last time, then they walked off to Lees car. I watched them drive away before I turned back to Chad. "Now you may escort my to the car, Mr. Murray." I said jokinly. "As you wish, my lady." He played along, linked arms with me and even opening the car door to let me in.
The ride to the airport went by pretty quick, we just listened to the radio abit and talked about how great the past few weeks had been. After parking the car, chad took care of my bags and then walked me towards the terminal.
After checking my ticket, I walked back to Chad. It was time to say goodbye to my best friend once again. Before I could say anything, he just pulled me into a hug. I smiled and leand again his chest for a minute or so. Then I whispered into his ear "Be good ! Thanks for everything. Im going to miss you so hard..." "Ill miss you too. Be sure to do your best in college and take good care of youself." He whispered back. "I will." I promised. "I love you pretty boy !" "I love you too princess !" He answered. And after a brief silence, he added "More than you may realise."
Although I was a little suprised about this last part, I was still expecting the kiss on the forehead he always gave me when we said goodbye. But that kiss never came. Instead, I suddenly felt his lips touching mine. My best friend was kissing me, really kissing me ! A sweet and gentle kiss, yet very determined. And then, just as suddenly as it started, the kiss stopped. He looked me in the eye and I saw a busload of emotions which I couldnt describe. Was that love I saw there or did he feel regret ?
But before I had the time to react, he whispered one more time "I love you princess !" Then he turned around and without saying another word, he walked away, leaving me behind shocked and confused.
End Flashback
So.. that sure was interesting, wasn't it ? I'm going to leave you here for now..
