.:.Crystal Made of Sand.:. 1# (sequel to A Dragon's Fang)

"Finaly!" your voice bounced around the room, like if they're were a million of you. What a hard day! You shut the door behind you and slid down, landing hard onto the sandy flooring. You sighed. You head drooped,bending your neck in a curve. Pulling your legs up to your chest, your rested your weiry arms onto of them.
You pushed yourself upwards, then making your way over to one of the chairs in the Kazekage's office. Plopping yourself down once more, you threw your legs up on the wooden desk. You leaned back in your chair and closed your eyes. A daydream filled your head about some random pink bunny that turned evil and killed the whole population of rabid paperwork. It was realy random! A hard objet hit your head rudly, knocking you out of your dreamy state. It fell onto your lap as you jerked your head. You smirked.
"That's rude! Throwing your hat at me!" You snatched of your lap and pulled tightly on your head.
A tiny smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. He pushed your feet off of his desk and took at seat in his all mighty leather chair.
"I never knew you were going to be back this early" Gaara told in a rough voice. YOu smirked a gave him a responce:
"Well, what did you expect? It was a easy mission and I do any mission fast" you snikered and twisted the cloth hanging down from the hat between your fingers. Gaara watched them.
A loud knock boomed on the door. You took that as a hint and stood up quickly. You took off the Kazekage hat and returned it to it's owner.
Baki came walking in and bowed, "Kazekage-sama...we are starting the meeting shortly" Baki told in a low voice, keeping his head down. Gaara nodded and dissmissed him out of the room. "Hai!" Baki barked as he walked out the room and continued down the hallway.
Gaara sat back down and rubbed his tempals.
You looked at him in curiousity. You leaned in and touched his face softly.
"What's wrong, Gaara-kun?"
He looked up at you and starred deeply into your eyes.
"It's nothing...you'll see at the meeting" he responded plainly.
You looked down at the ground sadly and nodded to him. You go up and took your seat at your desk and started on some much needed to be done paperwork, just waiting for the meeting to come...
...
"Well, I'm sure that you all know... the Akatsuki are on there way here..." Baki-sensei started after Gaara finished the intro.
The rest of the members nodded and whispered amougnts themselfs. The Akatsuki? They were coming? Damnit, why doesn't anyone tell me these things! No wonder Gaara was upset! You looked back over to Gaara as he glanced between people casually.
"I believe that Suna is not ready for this! It is such short notice!" A man stood up and announced.
"I second that! Kazekage-sama, we should ask aid from the leaf village!" The man besided him stood up too.
Gaara sighed and closed his eyes, "The Leaf village has problems of there own.. they have no reason to pester with us-"
"But Kazekage-sama! We are not prepared! We have no idea what type of atacks they will use!"
"Well, that's the point of a surprise..." You added to the conversation.
Everyone hushed and looked over at you with a curious look in their eyes.
"They're planning on attacking us, fact. But we don't know when, fact. It seems like the odds are agaisnt us... plus we have no idea of there abilities.." You paused and let everyone disguss what you just said.
"..They also don't know what we're capable of...fact" Your voice cut through the air.
The room soon bursted into a hullabaloo. You caught their attention again by smashing your fist onto the table.
"We have two Jinchurikis and all they have is a bunch of S-ranked criminals! They only travel in pairs of two... and if we prepare ourselfs for the attack, the odds are one us!" You exclaimed.
Everyone cheered and a few stood up, seconding your motion. But soon, Gaara calmed everyone and all of you began to plan you attacks.

The meeting was dismissed 2 hours later and everyone was free to do what they wished.The members split up into there normal clicks and disgusted current events as everyone left calmly. You walked down the silent hallways, when a familiar voice called your name. You turned around and saw Gaara walking up to you closly, making up walk backwards, into a wall. He placed his hand on one of your shoulders.
"Kita... please listen to me" Gara said very calmly.
You nodded and starred into his eyes.
"When the Akatsuki come, make sure that no matter what... your not caught" He continued sternly.
You gasped and shook your head, "But, Gaara! What if your-"
Gaara placed his cold lips on yours to cut you off. He closed his eyes only for a second before pulling away, millimeters away from your face.
"I don't care about myself at this exact moment... I don't want them to hurt you in any way possible. Hell I don't even want them to touch you..." He trailed off and took a deep breath, "..I'm the only one that's aloud to touch.."
He pushed his lips harshly against yours once more as he loosely wrapped his arms around your waist. He kissed like he hasn't seen you in forever.. or it was the last kiss he would ever give.
He pulled away once more, you taught him how to love, but has to figure out on his own how to express it. The whole thing was new to him and you didn't want to rush it. So a long kiss was the best right now.
He stared into your eyes with little emotion, which was alot.
"Kita... please promise me..." He said in a low voice.
You stared back and slowly place you lips onto his cheek, "Yes Gaara... I'll do anything for you"
With those words, Gaara walk back away from you and continued down the hallway without another word, leaving you to yourself and your thoughts
Trust me..this series is gunna be the best Gaara one ever!!
