Chapter 3:
Jailyns Point of view:
I finished straightening my hair and getting dressed and I was sitting on my roof. I was enjoying the weather and I heard something in the trees. I was getting freaked out so I made my way back into my room. Just as I was getting my foot in I was yanked back. I began to struggle instantly and kicked the person in the face. They grunted, and I knew instantly that it was a man. I was crawling away and he grabbed my ankle dragging me back. I hadnt thought of screaming till now.
"AHHHH!! Help!" I screamed as loud as I could.
I was still struggling and I heard someone running up the stairs. I guess he heard it to, because he instantly let go and I was sent rolling off the roof. I screamed on my way down. It was high pitched and woke the neighbors. The ground was coming closer, and I fainted right before I hit the ground.
I woke up to hearing hushed voices and someone holding open my eye and shining a flashlight in it. I jerked my head away, and sat up. I was in the hospital.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Well sweetheart, you were attacked. We think by the same people at the Theater. You fell from the roof. We dont know how you survived but you did. Johnny, your butler brought you in. You have to stay here for a couple of days, just so we know you are fine and able to be on your own." The doctor, who was inspecting me, said.
She left the room and it was just me and Johnny.
"How are you feeling kiddo? You had a nasty fall. I came here with you. Your parents are in Tokyo, on their 2nd honeymoon. They said that they were sorry they couldnt come." He said sympathetically.
"Bullsh!t. It doesnt matter. Johnny I dont want to be here. I am perfectly fine. Not One broken bone." I said, and to prove it, I stood up taking my IV rack with me and jumped around.
"I know, I dont understand how you dont have a single broken bone. All you have are bruises, cuts, and scratches. Well, let me talk to the doctor about you getting out tonight."
He left the room and I sat back down on my bed.
I knew it was weird that I had no broken limbs, but I knew that from when I was little. I had never in my life had a broken bone. One time I fell from a tree when I was 7 and landed on my wrist wrong. I heard a crunch and when I sat up to look at my hand, there was only a small bruise. Nothing was broken. I never told my parents, not even Johnny.
"Well darling, they are letting you go tonight. Come on, I have your clothes in the car. Here are your shoes." he said
I grabbed my shoes, put them on, and walked out. I got in the car with Johnny and drove home.
Lucians Point of View:
"WHAT! What do you mean she fell from the roof? Did you even stay long enough to know if she was fine? Who sent you? I know I didnt!" I shouted.
I was now currently yelling at Chris, the werewolf.
"Well, I heard you talking to Killian, and I overheard. Well, I followed Killian to the girls house, and watched in silence. He was only observing her and then he left. I thought he was taking too long, so I took it upon myself to get her for you. She sat on her roof and I made a noise. She went to go inside but I caught her foot. She was struggling too much and kicked me in my face!" He paused a moment and turned his head. Sure enough there was a huge bruise on his face and neck from her kick.
"Anyways, she screamed bloody murder and someone came to get her. I panicked, and let her go. She rolled off, and I dont know what happened from there. I left." He looked down in shame.
I sighed in aggravation.
"Go see if she is fine. You know her scent by now, and where she lives. You just better hope she is not hurt." I said and I left them room.
Jailyns Point of View:
I got home and put some ice on my ribs. They were bruised from where I fell and smacked the gutter on the way down. I sat in the kitchen eating Frootloops and watching TV. Johnny had left to go get butterfly bandages for my chin. (Those are the things that are put over something that needs stitches, I think.) He came back in and rubbed something on my chin then placed the band-aid on it.
"There you go. Now get to bed. You still have school, dance rehearsal, and violin practice." He said then left the room.
I sighed in annoyance. My parents were gone, I was just injured, and I still had to go do all the crap that I hate doing. I put my bowl in the sink and made my way to my room. I changed and sat gently on my bed. I pet Hera, and told her everything that had happened today.
That is another picture of you.
Here is you.
