"Pete your leaving again?"
"Yeah, I have to," he was packing for yet another tour.
"When I'm gonna be able to see you again? Do I have to make an appointment?"
"Maybe."
I just rolled my eyes, he always does this.
The few days before he goes, he's a jerk.
"Ok whatever, I'm out of here," I grabbed my purse and got up ready to leave.
"Have fun on your amazing tour, maybe you'll meet another girl," I smiled, I walked out of his room.
"Mika wait!"
"What?!"
"You forgot your book," he handed me The Kennedy's Curse.
"Thanks," I started walking away.
I don't know why I even bother coming to his house when he's packing for tour, he acts like a jerk.
I got into my car and head home.

When I got in, Katie and Joe were making out on the couch.
They were in love, have been every since they got together.
Lucky them, the love actually stuck to them.
I went up to my room, and laid down, until my phone rang.
"Hello," I answered.
"Hey Mika," Patrick said, he sounded sad.
"Hi Patrick. Why do you sound sad?"
"Kory broke up with me."
"Oh, I'm so sorry. Why?"
"She said her new band was getting really big and she was too busy for me."

"Aw. I'm sorry your sad. Join the club."
"What happened with you and Pete now?"
"If I'm sad it automatically goes to Pete?"
"Yes, because you love him so much, he's the only thing that can make you sad," wow he's good.
"Ok, brace yourself for a girl to complain."
"Ready," he laughed.
"Everytime he leaves for tour, he's mean to me. He never likes to talk to me when he's preparing for a tour, and I want to talk to him, because he's going to be leaving for a long time."
"He's probably doing that, because he's sad himself and doesn't know how to say it out loud because he doesn't want to make you sadder than you already are."
"Ok..."
"I could talk to him for you."
"Nah. Ok one more thing."
"What?"
"Should I take that modeling job?"
"If you want."
"That was no help."
"What do expect, I'm not you."
"True."
"I better go now, I need to finish packing."
"Alright, thanks for listening, and if you ever want to actually talk, I'm here."
"Thanks Mika, bye."
"Bye."
I hung up my phone, Patrick actually made me happy. Which was rather odd.
I went in my draw and got the number out from the model agent.
This wasn't to make Pete mad, because he told me that night he didn't want me to model, this was to make me happy.
"Hello. Hi I'm Mika, the girl from the Clandestine Industries fashion show. I was just wondering if that modeling job was still available?"
