I Guess I'll Bleed In Silence [Part 9]

Alright, part nine. As I said before ON THE HOMEPAGE, if you didn't read it, READ THIS. I changed the main character [Rachel]'s name. It is now AVA. Nothing has changed, just a different name. Still the same character, the same old girl. Just with a new name. So, please don't let that confuse you. Thanks! Current Music: "Darling" - Eyes Set To Kill. Current Mood: Bleh. Current Obsessions: Posting blogs on MySpace ;). Calli of Click-Clique-Layouts.

They finally let you out of that hellhole of a hospital after three more weeks.

Free, free, free.

You were finally free. You could walk just as you use to, fortunately.

As for Frank, well, he was just fine. And you were grateful for that. You now believed in miracles.

But, let's get started on a new subject. Your parents. What ever happened to them?

Well, you're living back in the house with them, of course. And of course, lucky you, disaster strikes your family. Your father, because of your accident, sits there on the couch all day, sucking down any type of alcohol possible. Your mother, because of your father, has new friends. No, not usual friends. Not friends like a normal mother of a normal family would have. The type of normal friends that would get together every week to discuss a new book. Oh, no. Your mothers new friends happen to be drug dealers. That's all you needed to top it all off. First, all you wanted was to get out of the hospital and be with your picture perfect family. And as soon as you got out of that hospital and moved back in with your "picture perfect family", you wanted back in the hospital. What would it take to get back in there?

A few more broken bones? Simple.

But you couldn't just do that. You couldn't cause even more harm to yourself than you already had. Oh, the irony.

"Ava, what are you doing home so late?" your father barked.

"I was at Mel's." you say simply.

"I was at Mel's," your father mocked. "Like I'm supposed to believe that."

"Well you should."

"Oh, please. I'm not that gullible enough to believe that."

"Where were you?" he spat.

You groaned, shaking your head. "I asked you a question." he growled.

"Answer it!" he yelled.

"Were you with that.. That boy of yours? That scum of the Earth? Is that who you were with, Ava? ANSWER ME." he shouted, now two inches from your face.

"No, I wasn't with him! I haven't even heard from him since he left for band practice!" you yelled. Your father stumbled back, then growled at you.

"Sure you weren't. You're full of it, Ava! You know that? FULL OF IT." he yelled, tightening his grip on your wrists.

His breath reeked of everything illegal in the US. You cringed inside, squirming to get loose. He pinned you against the wall, gritting his teeth.

"Where the hell were you?" he repeated, now an inch closer to your face.

"I told you already! I was at Mels. Don't make me fucking repeat myself!" you yelled, your father taking a swing at your face.

Your father.

"Ava, I swear to God, if you were with those scumb-," you cut your father off. "They're not like that, Dad! They're sweet guys that make me feel like I have meaning in the damn world. Why can't you just understand that?" you yelled.

Man, did it hurt you to talk. Every time you said a word, your mouth would feel as if it were throbbing.

"I understand it perfectly, Ava! I just want what's best for you. I don't want you around those boys and their.. Their filthy drugs." he snapped.

You laughed harshly. "If you haven't noticed yet, father, I am and have been around drugs. You're an alcoholic, mum's an addict. It all adds up. And, they're not like that. They're clean, unlike some people I know."

You waited a few seconds for your father to swing at you again, accepting it. But no. He just stared at you, his mouth gaped open, stuttering.

"Excuse me?"

"What? Did I fuckin' stutter?"

"N-no."

"Oh, and by the way," you started, biting your lip. "If you want what's best for me, get me as far away from you two as possible."

You stomped up to your bedroom, mumbling.

Oh, how much I love them.
....
Hope you liked it. Not my best work, I know I rushed into everything, but hey, I'll learn eventually.
