~A Misguided Soul~- Special (becuz I feel like it)

You leaned against a wall as you watched the other taichos and fukutaichos mingling...your eyes sometimes wandered to the wall opposite of you. There was the familiar snowy haired taicho leaning against the other wall.
You and him had a little disagreement and now you two weren't speaking to each other.
You were at a party of Matsumoto's, you didn't really want to come, she kind of blackmailed you into coming actually...
~Flashback~
"If you don't come to my party I'll...tell him about-"
She was cut of by your hand covering her mouth. "I'll go, happy?" you growled.
You felt a smile appear beneath your hand. You dropped your hand back to your side and walked away grudgingly.
~End Flashback~
You glared at the party host, who was chatting with Shuuhei happily. By the looks of their facial expressions, Matsumoto was the one mostly talking while Shuuhei was boredly listening to her chattering.
You mushroom sighed and shook your head feeling sorry for the guy. You crossed your arms and unconsciously let your eyes wander back to your fellow taicho. Your eyes met, then stubbornly snapped to opposite directions.
He's so stubborn... you thought glaring at a wall. You continued glaring at the poor wall until you heard an annoying happy sound coming from your right (you were glaring at a wall to your left).
You snapped your head to your right to see Matsumoto on some stage smiling into a microphone. You clenched your fist. I'm going to- You stoped your thoughts to hear what she was about to say.
"Ok everybody, to make this party more exciting...I've decided that we'll have a dance contest..." A couple of people murmured in excitement and some in depression. "And I'm choosing the couples..." she declared. You widened your eyes.
"She wouldn't..." you whispered. She took out a list of names you know were just a list of couples she thought would be good between the Taichos and Fukutaichos.
"Ok, here are the couples that I chose:
1) Momo and Izuru
'you looked to see both of them looking away from each other'
2) Rukia and Renji
'you saw both of them look at each, blush and turn away while crossing their arms'
3) Byakuya and Unohana Taicho
'Byakuya just looked at Unohana while Unohana smiled at him'
4) Isane and Shuuhei
'you were kind of surprised with that one and didn't bother to see their reactions'
5) Nanao and Shunsui Taicho
'Nanao glared at Matsumoto while Shunsui just smiled'
6) and last...but definitely not least...the feuding couple Kesshite and Toshiro...my Taicho ^-^
You glared up at Matsumoto while you felt Hitsugaya's gaze upon you (yes, I'm not using his name til they make up).
You sighed and pushed yourself off the wall clenching your fists even more.
"And you can choose your dance routines and types of dances...just tell me and there will be a song for you when it's time for you to come up."
You were seriously thinking of going all evil hollow on her freaking happy self. You wanted to kill someone at the moment.
You were brought out of your homicidal thoughts to see the snowy haired Taicho that you can love and hate at the same time.
" We're gonna do a tango routine.." was all he said and started walking away.
You glared at his back, Bastard, thinking he can just decide for the both of us...on second thought, I did tell him I can only dance the tango...
~Flashback~
"Hey, Kesshite...what are you doing?"
You stopped and looked at him like he had another head or something. "I'm practicing the tango, or have you never heard of the tango before?"
He gave you an annoyed look. "It's a type of dance right? It just looks weird when you do it by yourself."
You agreed with him in your mind. I just don't think anyone else knows about it, and I'm not teaching anyone you thought.
Toshiro smirked, "Well, I know a few things of tango myself...Matsumoto tricked me into learning it."
You smiled, "Well, if we ever go dancing we know what to dance...tango's actually the only thing I can dance."
~End Flashback~
You smiled slightly, "He remembered."
"Ok everybody, time to show us what you got!" You widened your eyes.
Kuso, we haven't even thought of a routine... you thought. You jumped when you noticed Hitsugaya standing beside you.
"Don't worry, if you're any good we won't need a routine. just follow my lead." he said, like he just read your thoughts.
You narrowed your eyes as he walked to where the dancers were supposed to be. You looked around the room to see that everyone who wasn't participating in the dance contest smiling contentedly, grateful they didn't have to dance.
You rolled your eyes.
~Later on~
It was yours and Hitsugaya's turn to dance, you were the last couple (you knew Matsumoto did that on purpose) and you had just told her what kind of dance you were both doing. She smiled, "I have just the song for that."
You took in a deep breath and sighed, waiting for the music to start.
You heard someone chuckle, "Nervous?" You glared at the stuck-up bastard.
"Just shut up and dance." That's when the music started.
(Heh, I don't know much about tango, but the song I chose that reminded me of the story just seemed like a tango song ^-^)
I didn't hear what you were saying

He twirled you around and dipped you, you were kind of stiff. He chuckled, "You are so stubborn." He brought you back up.
If you needed love

"What are you talking about, you're the one who started it." you hissed.
Wake up call
Caught you in the morning with another one in my bed
Don't you care about me anymore?
Care about me?
I don't think so.
Six foot tall
Came without a warning so I had to shoot him dead
He won't come around here anymore
Come around here? I don't think so.

He glared, "I swear, I don't have any feelings for her. We were just talking, you just admit that you were staring at him."
Would have bled to make you happy
You didn't need to treat me that way
And now you beat me at my own game
And now I find you sleeping soundly
And your lovers screaming loudly
Hear a sound and hit the ground
You pulled away from him and glared. "I WAS NOT!!!" Everyone stared at the two of you, waiting for what was going to happen next. Matsumoto was biting her lip, wondering if she did the right thing putting you two together.
"Shhh...you're making a scene." Toshiro whispered lowly.
Your glare hardened. "SO WHAT IF I MAKE A SCENE, WHY WOULD YOU CARE?"
Hitsugaya took a step closer to you. You stood your ground. "AND ANOTHER THI-" you were cut off by Toshiro's lips crashing onto yours.
You tried to push him away, but ended up giving into the kiss. You two continued kissing, until someone shouted.
"GET A ROOM!" you broke apart to see Matsumoto smiling triumphantly and everyone giving you knowing smirks. You blushed lightly, while Toshiro just glared at them, probably for interrupting the kiss.
Matsumoto got the microphone and yelled into it. "Well, if it isn't the happy couple getting back together, who votes for Toshiro and Kesshite winning the contest?"
A bunch of people started cheering and clapping, you saw Yachiru jumping up and down on Kenpachi's shoulder. You smiled a little.
Well, I guess Rangiku's parties aren't so bad...I'll be sure to get to the next one... you smiled up at Toshiro, he smiled back at you and caught you in another kiss.
^-^ it didn't make any sense didn't it? It wasn't supposed to...oh well
the song was Maroon 5's- Wake up Call
and yep...don't kill me, I'll try to make sequel soon... try being the keyword
