You blinked you eyes. 'What's happening?' You thought. "Not much my dear. The birds are singing, the water is flowing, just the normal things." Hao said behind you. "Why are you..-" "Tsk tsk, I'm only taking care of you." "I can take care of myself very well." "Really? Then why almost colapse when Ren hurts you? Or is that," he suddenly stood in front of you, "because he's you great love?" "You wouldn't understand if I told you would you?" You asked him. "Maybe." He said, "why not give it a shot?" "Because you're evil." You said, you stuck out your tongue. showing him it was only a joke. "I am? I don't think you'd take care of a five year old girl who's parents have died?" "I don't have the money for that, but I'd be sure to try." You said honestly. "Are you angry at Ren?" Hao asked, suddenly becoming dead serious. You looked at him. 'Maybe a little, but..' "But he did hurt you, what made me take you away isn't it? You're just mad at me actually.." You kept silent. "Reishi is an awful ability. allowing you to look in other hearts, and drawing conclusions that are not true.." You said, "Hao, I didn't think that you are responsible. You really need to learn to control your Reishi. I know you don't control it, since I mastered it." He looked at you shocked. "You learned?" "That's right, you only learned the half of it." You looked at him, "you also need to learn to lock it away." "Could you teach me then?" He asked. "If you'd let me go." Hao turned around. "I cannot do that.." "Even if you know that I don't like being here?" "Even then. I need to protect you from the priest." "Who is that?" "I don't want to tell you, it would pain you to much.."

-Ren's pov-
'Where is she..' Was all you could think. "Ren, we'll find her." Yoh said. "How would you know?" You asked angry. "Kina-san is a very special person, and she's gifted with the power to read minds and look into the heart. Her energy is easy to find. It has something special." "But what if.." 'What if he has done something to her?' "Kina can defend herself very wel you know.. She never shows her actual power, except when her special persons are in danger." "Not when she herself is in danger?" "No, she isn't aware of these powers. My father used to call it a gift. I call it a curse." "Why?" "Her memories erase as she uses the power. She'll forget an amount of memories, depending on how much power she uses. Like that she could even erase her whole life. And her memories of her former lives." Yoh said. He looked away. "I didn't know.." "Ofcourse not.. Since kina-san didn't know, she wouldn't tell. And I didn't tell because I don't want to lose her. If we'd tell her.. She would black out totally or in the worst case die." 'Oh no.. Not my Kina-san..'

-Kina's pov again-
"Lock away the Reishi eh?" "Yes." You looked into the night, "tell me who the priest is, and I'll tell you how to lock the Reishi away.." Hao looked up. "I don't know.. It's fairly hard.. I don't think you'd like to know.." "I think I would.. would I ask otherwise?" "I don't know.. Maybe just curiousity.." You took some steps forwards and watched the stars. "They're pretty aren't they? These stars.. Cursed to fade with time.. Like us all.." Hao looked away again. He seemed upset about something. "Go, watch the stars. Be sure to get your sleep. I'll watch that you don't wander of."
