Torrence scans your face for some sort of reaction from you, and you continue to breath heavily as you consider what just happened. You smile over at him, staring into his deep brown eyes, and he kisses you softly. But something doesn't feel right. "Torrence, why me?" you ask again, still wondering why he had wanted you so bad. Torrence shrugs and coils his arms around you once more, pulling you closer into him. You allow him to kiss and fondle your naked flesh a little longer before you break away and say, "Torrence, you didn't answer my question." He looks at you, lust still gleaming in his eyes. "Well, I COULD answer you," he replies deviously, "OR I could show you how much I love you again..." He winks and you smile, but you still feel like a toy. Your smile fades and you turn away. Concerned, Torrence wraps a muscular arm around your waist and asks, "(*your name*), what's really the matter?" You sigh and gaze at his black locks, giving in to your urge to run your hands through his hair. He pulls you closer and you don't pull away. "I don't know, this just doesn't seem right," you admit. "I mean, you've been my best friend for as long as I can remember, and I'm just wondering... Have we taken this too far?" Torrence takes a moment to consider what you said, then laughs innocently and says, "If anything, we haven't taken things far enough." You frown and arch an eyebrow, confused at his statement. "Torrence, what are you talking about? Can you get much farther than we just went?" you ask him patiently, keeping your voice serious but soft. "Look (*your name*), you might think that we've just been friends, but ever since I was five I've been in love with you! I've dreamed of this night for so many years, you can't even imagine what it's like! I don't regret what happened here tonight at all... If anything, I'd like to do this more often." He blushes slightly, something that amazes you, considering you've never seen him embarassed. Ever. And all these years, you'd never known that Torrence had those feelings for you. "I... I had no idea," you stutter, unsure of what else to say. "(*your name*), I love you. I just want to be with you forever." Smiling, you lean over to kiss him, still shocked at all he has confessed to you. As you kiss, he grabs at your chest and starts to position himself on top of you again. But just as he is about to drive himself into you, you place your hands on his built chest and weakly push him away, but only slightly. You look up into his strong face and say, "Again?" Torrence grins and responds, "Why not? Didn't you like it?" You giggle stupidly, but look away as he tries to kiss you again. Torrence suddenly gets up and shifts so that he is off of you, then sits at the end of the bed with his face buried in his hands, back slouched. "You didn't like it," he sighs with woe, shaking his head sadly. You feel bad for Torrence, depression claiming you, and put a hand on his slumped shoulder. He moans quietly at the softness of your touch, but still doesn't look at you. "It's not that I didn't like it, I just..." you attempt, but trail off, unsure of what to say to him.
Aww poor Torrence...
Whatever, I don't care (Me: Ahhh, he's supposed to be your best friend!)
I just want to go home
Torrence shakes his head once more, then turns and looks into your eyes. "No (*your name*), you don't have to make excuses," he tells you gently. "I was a fool to think that you'd ever think of me as more than just a friend. But I'm not sorry about what happened tonight, and I wouldn't change it for the world." You are taken aback by his comment, feeling as though you are not speaking with Torrence, the boy you practically grew up with. No, this didn't seem like the same Torrence who used to put rubber spiders in your lunch box when you were seven, or the same Torrence that used every girl that was interested in him for one night stands, then never saw them again. It was as if he was a different person altogether, and although it was like becoming acquainted with a stranger, you did feel very attracted to him. You let your head rest on his shoulder and wrapped your arms around his back. you closed your eyes and breathed deeply as his muscular figure pressed against your naked chest, and soon Torrence was rubbing your back as well. What are you thinking?
oooh let's do it again! *winks*
This is REALLY uncomfortable!
I wish I could just leave and go figure all this out
Your hands begin to reach down below his waist and eventually find their way between his legs. You softly fondle him in that area (*wink wink* *nudge nudge*) and Torrence moans in pleasure. But just as you begind to open your legs wider to welcome him inside you again, Torrence sighs sadly and pulls back. "No," he whispers. "I can't do this to you again." You knit your eyebrows in total confusion, staring at him. 'Didn't he just say he wanted this?' you think to yourself. "Torrence..." you cry out helplessly, waiting for an explanation. It seemed he was toying with you now, and you were in no mood to be played out. Had he planned to use you like he had used all those other girls? "(*your name*), maybe you should just leave now," Torrence urges you. With tears in your eyes, you back away from him, getting off the bed and standing up, moving away from the forest green covers. "Fine," you hiss, your voice cracking in anguish and confusion. "If that's what you want." You grab your clothes, dress yourself, and dash out his bedroom door, ignoring his pleas for you to come back. He had just told you to leave, had he not? And that's what you planned to do.
What? No way, take me back there!
Yup, he asked me to go and if he thinks I'm coming back, he's got another thing coming!
Am I going home now?
As you step out into the drakened streets, you realize that almost no one is out. A few cars pass by now and then, but other than that, nothing more. You sigh as a couple of rain drop fall onto your red cheeks, though they can not be determined from the tears. It is not pouring, only a light drizzle, but the grey clouds hang low and seem to banish any light from beyond. As you stroll down the sidewalk, deciding that Torrence was definitely not coming after you, you think about all that has happened. You and Torrence used to be so close as friends, but the point when everything really started to change was after Marissa's death. The three of you had been inseparable, destined to befriend one another even before any of you were born! Your mother used to work with Torrence's father and Marissa's mother ten years before you yourself were born, though you were never told exactly where. The three parents had become fast friends, and soon they grew very close to one another. But after a few years of unbreakable friendship, Ed (Torrence's father) was offered a better job in the next town, and he hesitated to take it. But your mother and Marissa's mother had urged him to go for it, promising to remain loyal and to visit him as often as possible. He agreed and left, leaving your mother and Marissa's mother alone. Terri (Marissa's mom) eventually moved in with your mother and father, who were already married at this point. But Terri soon met Falkner, and the two began dating. About a year later, Terri moved in with Falkner, and the two announced their plans for marriage. Of course, they alerted Ed right away, and he took time off to come to Terri's wedding. An not even two years later, he met Christine, and your mother and Terri were off to the next town to meet up with him. Of course, eventually Ed and Christine had moved back together. (Do you follow me so far? I know it's a bit confusing. This was all before you were born)...
Yeah, I understand
No... (Me: message me if you're really confused)
I think I get it
Your mother had told you the story so many times that you were sick of hearing it. You could almost recite it line for line. And of course, evetually, all three couples had children. Of the three, you were the only family with more than one child. You had a younger brother name Kyle, an annoying brat who your parents seemed to favour over you. But this only made you all the more thankful to have Torrence and Marissa, when Marissa was still alive, that was. You remember hanging out, just the three of you on Marissa's porch when you were all still too young to go to school, laughing and giggling over the stupidest things. And you remember going to elelmentary with them, and junior high. Now you were in high school, and life without Marissa had drastically changed.
Just take me back to Torrence already!
What happened to Marissa?
Go on...
Well, I'm going to stop there. Please rate high or there won't be a part 3. If you're confused about the story I presented half way through you can message me, but just to let you know, it's not THAT important, it's mostly just how your parents all met each other before any of you were born. Next time I'll give you more information about Marissa and tell you about that stranger lurking in the shadows, following you home that you're not aware of... So please rate high and message with comments or suggestions.
