Halo was sleeping, curled in a ball in Franks lap. Franks arms were wrapped around her, and his head was on Mikeys shoulder. Mikey was half-strewn across Ray. Bob had managed to make it back to his bunk, and Gerard was sitting on the other side of the lounge area, his eyes wide open, hands cradling his aching head. He looked up slowly and surveyed the sleeping people within the vicinity. Halos black hair was sticking to her face, and black lines of smudged mascara and eyeliner made her look more gaunt than usual; Frank looked unusually peaceful, but the way he clung to Halo showed he was worried she, too, would go missing. Mikey and Ray both seemed troubled, even in sleep; Mikeys hair was slightly mussed, and his glasses were nowhere to be sighted Rays closed eyes were underlined in dark bags, and his arms were crossed, jaw clenched.
"Two a.m.," Gerard muttered to himself after catching sight of the flashing digital clock just visible through the doorway to the bunk area.
"Gerard...?" Halo's quiet voice found its' way to his ears; he looked around at her, and she gave a soft whine, "Is she back yet?" She was trying to free herself from Frank's captivity,
"No..." He murmured, biting his lip and moving across the room, pulling Frank's arms away from her with some difficulty,
"I want Shelly," She whispered, her eyes wide,
"I know...shh, no, don't cry...Shhh...Calm down..." She'd, evidently, started crying again. He pulled her to him and sat down, rocking her back and forth,
"I used to be the hardest person I knew to make cry," She said, giving a little ironic laugh, "Alright...Okay..." She started breathing deeply, and climbed to her feet, "I'm going to wash up, and then I'm going to take over Frank's bunk, and I'm going to sleep, and then I'm going to look for Shelly. Publish it on the MCR site, will you - ask the fans to look for Shelly, and meanwhile, apologize for the bad show you put on last night...or tonight...whichever..." Gerard nodded, thankful for something to do. He pulled the laptop toward him as Halo left the room, heading for the bathroom.
Hey guys,
It's Gerard here. I wish I could take the time and answer all of your questions, but technically speaking, I can't, and it's 2a.m., so there's not really enough time to go through all the inbox and answer every one of them. We'll do our best, in future, though.
Anyway, I'd like to start by apologizing for the show we put on this evening (22 October), it was through a fault of our own. We were unable to concentrate and give everything we've got, because we were all consumed by one of our dear friends' disappearance.
Bearing in mind as our friend is still missing, I'd like to ask you all a favor. Below, you'll find an image of Shelly. She went missing this morning, straight out of our tour bus. If anyone finds her, please contact us immediately - or at least, tell her to call Halo (she'll know who you're talking about).
My sincerest apologies to those who wished to see My Chemical Romance on top form - I promise we'll be back, and we'll give it our all. In the mean time, keep an eye out for Shelly!
Helpful hint: Shelly has an unnatural addiction to candy, mainly M&M's.
Thanks, guys.
Gerard Way

Gerard finished typing the message and attached a photograph of Shelly to the post. After publishing it, he gazed at it for a moment or two before switching off the laptop and putting it to one side. He'd done all he could for the time being.
Halo left the bathroom a while later, her face clean, and her hair scraped back into a checkered black and red ribbon. Her gaze swept the room. Frank, Mikey and Ray hadn't moved, but Gerard was nowhere to be seen. She shrugged it off and turned to the bunk area. There, she found Gerard curled in his own bunk, his eyes closed - she was sure he wasn't sleeping, but she tucked the thin comforter around him in a motherly manner anyway,
"You'll feel better tomorrow," She said to him, and then hoisted herself into Frank's bunk, crawling under the comforter and cocooning herself within it, slowly drifting off into a fitful sleep.
Halo awoke the next morning and stumbled into the living area. Everyone was already awake and waiting. Frank held out a paper coffee cup, and she took it gratefully, plunking down onto the couch,
"We've all already been out searching." Mikey informed her, rubbing his tired eyes,
"Any luck?" She asked; Gerard shook his head. Suddenly, the sound of Vindicated by Dashboard Confessional started blaring out. Halo paused, spat out a mouthful of coffee, and plunged her free hand into her pocket; call ID read 'Brian'. She glowered at it, and tossed the phone across the room. Gerard yelped and snatched it from mid-air, just before it hit the wall. He answered it,
"Hey, Brian." He said coolly; Halo clenched and unclenched her petite jaw, "No, we haven't found her yet - you?" His face fell further. Halo growled, Frank's hand grasped her shoulder, keeping her on the couch before she had the chance to jump at the phone and scream at Brian,
"Come on. We'll go look for her." Frank said, seeing nothing would calm her down. She looked up at him, as though just realizing he was there. He daringly picked her hand up and linked his own fingers with hers'. Halo gave a startled squeak and gazed at their hands before slowly getting to her feet. He led her outside; she mutely fell into step with him, deciding against saying anything.
"Hey, Halo?" He asked, after what seemed an aeon of silence and walking,
"Mmm?" she replied, yawning and looking up at him foggily, as though she didn't know who, what, or where she was,
"We'll find her," He said comfortingly; she shrugged, continuing to amble onward, her steps laborious and scattered, 'Here.' He spun her to face him and turned his back to her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and jumped up, winding her legs around his waist. He secured both of his arms around her skinny legs and began walking once more. Her head lolled, and she brought her chin down to lean on his shoulder tiredly,
"What time is it?" she asked,
"It's around seven a.m." he replied quietly. She nodded, trying to remember what the hell posessed her to wake up this early in the first place. She should have stayed in bed...but if she'd stayed in bed, she'd have later felt useless for not going out to look for Shelly first thing. In fact, she shouldn't have gone to sleep last night - she should have stayed out looking.
"Coffee," She wheezed. He gave a small chuckle and headed toward the nearest coffee vender.
once a whore, you're nothing more..
K. Feedback, please.
