Fighter For Life <Characters>

Alec

Fifteen year old girl who is the narrator of Fighter For Life, she has some issues that arise from her past, but she is slowly working through them.

She is adopted by Adam and Ava after her village was attacked. The actual story is set back in the late 1600’s to early 1700’s.

She has a thing for passion, a lust for revenge, and holds grudges easily. She isn’t girly at all and can use two swords at once.

Alec also has a friend named Morrigan (Nicknamed Morgan) who she happens to like, but she will not show him because she cannot let emotions get in the way of her ultimate revenge.



Morrigan

Seventeen year old stable boy. He is originally from Alec’s village, but he wasn’t adopted like she was. He works in Adam’s stable for his room and board. He is under the belief that it was the conspiracy that their (Alec’s and his) parents were plotting is the reason they are all dead.

He also thinks Alec is something of his, something he can own and protect. He loves her and has for years. He tries to keep her from fighting and from running off but she doesn’t listen because she wishes to be free.

Morrigan can fight extremely well with both hands and a bow. He can almost speak to horses and is a very good gambler when he needs to be.




Alana

Fifteen year old girl. She is the biological daughter of Adam and Ava, and she is very jealous of Alec and her attention. She is dainty and tells others to do her bidding, she doesn’t like to get her hands dirty.

Ava has a thing for Prince Tristan, but Tristan has been pledged to wed the traitors daughter, Alec. Alana pledges to disrupt this in any way possible and tries very hard to get Alec to screw up.
Alana is a very prim and proper girl who can barely run, therefore she doesn’t fight.



Lord Maims (Adam)

Forty year old treacherous leech. He holds secrets of his own while he keeps Alec’s secret a secret.

Adam is a man of passion, fear, and blood lust. He kills and never asks why. This is why the King pledged Tristan to marry Alec instead of Alana. Lord Maims is the King’s right hand assassin, even though he doesn’t do it himself.



Ava

Thirty year old woman, who was arranged in a marriage to Adam. She despises her husbands character, but she still must go along with him in whatever he says. She was originally a weaver, and still weaves when she can. She is dainty and beautiful but as tough and sharp as diamonds.



Imagine the sword being a little lest black and glowing! This is the younger version of Ava!

Sam

Young boy of twelve, he lives with his mother Rachel. Sam is a very outgoing boy who is being taught to fight by Alec. He is a skilled hunter and is the ‘man of the household.’

Lord Maims tries to keep Rachel and Sam from having contact with Alec, but fails miserably. Sam runs away with Alec when she escapes, he leaves his mother in the care of Morrigan and hopes for the best.

A skilled bowman and craftsman, Sam can create arrows, bows, and swords. His trade is a blacksmith. He is ambidextrous (fight with both hands) and loves the thrill of the hunt.



Rachel

A simple woman of twenty-nine, Rachel was raped at the age of seventeen. She was never married, because she was impure. Sam is the only thing keeping her tethered to the planet.

Rachel is a skilled cook, weaver, and embroiderer. She creates Ava’s clothing behind Adam’s back. She worked and lived in Adam’s castle at one point, before he believed she was a threat and therefore kicked her out.



Prince Tristan

Son of the King who is very arrogant, believes he is the only one worth being around, and is extremely impatient. Alec is to be his trophy wife, the daughter of traitors and a fighter herself.

Tristan doesn’t fight, but sends people to fight for him.
