"Do you want to tell me what that was about?" She whispered.
"J-just....e-e-everything." I whispered back.
I didn't know what had happened to me.
I was running, or hiding from the truth, what Icis had said hurt me deeply, because all of it was true, and I couldn't face it.
Deep inside me I was fighting with myself for falling in love with a vampire........
And then I find out it's me, I am the princess...and he said it himself...it makes everything harder....it makes everything complicated.
I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to him....not because of me anyway.
"Darling, you have to be strong...you'll pull through and get used to this...trust me...you'll be fine, I know it was weird that we had you all along, when Ryan kidnapped you, and everything you went through with Christopher...but we have to move on...quick." My mother said.
I nodded....
"Come on, let's get you to Alyssa, the faster you learn to unlock and control your powers the safer you'll be." She said, pulling me out of the room down the stairs and into another room.
I liked this room. A lot.
It was a light cream colour, with cushiony floors, and it was empty.
Meaning no diversions, no distractions.
Alyssa was already sat in the middle cross legged, she smiled when we came in and got up to bow at the queen and me, sitting down again my mother conjured up a chair which she sat on at the side, motioning me towards Alyssa, she made me sit in front of her cross legged.
"Hello Alexandria, nice to see you again..." Alyssa smiled, I just nodded.
"To start off you have to completely empty your mind, make it blank...you need to be completely calm and focused, that's it close your eyes and breathe deeply until you see a clear sheet of white."
I did as she asked or told rather.
My eyes were closed and I concentrated hard.
"Do you see the white sheet?" Alyssa asked.
I hesitated for a few seconds then nodded.
"Good, now, break through the sheet of paper, to the inner chambers of your mind."
Uhm.....okay....I thought. Easier said than done!
Alright then sheet of white wall thingy, disappear so I can see I thought stubbornly.
It didn't budge.
"It's not moving!" I complained.
"Sh, calm yourself down and concentrate...stop trying too hard...just let it happen..." Alyssa's voice was calming.
I waited for a few seconds before breathing in and trying again, the sheet looked so penetrable but yet so strong...
"The sheet is nothing to you...go beyond it." Alyssa breathed.
In a matter of seconds the sheet evaporated within itself and I saw a small room.
"What am I looking for?" I asked barely over a whisper.
"Only you know." Alyssa whispered.
"You're doing great darling." I heard my mother whisper.
The room was black, plain black...no walls...no corners...no ceilings...just plain black.
I stared at it...and then small boxes were gradually coming into view.
Small silver boxes, popped out of no where,
Instinct told me to open them.
One of the boxes floated out towards me and I saw it clearly in my mind...as if I was there right now.
I willed the lid to flip open, as it did a sudden rush of energy surged through me, I felt myself fall backwards and my eyes shot opened.
"What happened??" My mother rushed to my side.
"Box...opened..." I panted, glancing around thinking something had changed in this room.
"You did it!" Alyssa beamed at me.
"I did?" I asked confused.
"Yep, are you tired?" She asked.
"Exhausted." I replied, sitting up.
"It takes extreme energy and will power to unlock one of your powers." She started.
"Wait! That was just one?!" I asked shocked.
They both nodded.
"So what is it?" They asked.
I don't know how I knew but I just did, it's like since I unlocked it, it was part of me...I knew how to use it....
"Invisibility." I replied.
"Well go on..." Alyssa willed.
I shrugged, squeezing my eyes shit tight I thought, invisible, invisible invisible.
"Anything?" I asked.
I opened my eyes to see them staring blankly back shaking there heads...okay I guess I didn't know how to use it....
Oh well. I thought getting up
"Where are you going?" My mother asked.
"I think I'm going to be sick." I said walking out of the room..........
I reached a random bathroom and spewed into the toilet just a little bit though.
"I think you're pregnant." Came Icis' voice from behind me.
My heart stopped beating.

"It's a bug." I said.
"It could be the bug...or it could be..."
"Don't you have to go?" I asked.
"Yes soon. But not before you take this." She said holding up a pregnancy test.
"No. I am not pregnant." I glared.
"Then take it just in case...you say you're not pregnant...so what is there to lose?" She asked.
I bit my lip and took the test....
