Behind The Shield (Draco Malfoy) - Chapter 1

You sat staring out your window, Note book at hand, deep in thought of the past years. Lately you had been having problems writing which was like you. You had at lot of things on your mind but didnt know how to writing it down. You had always written poetry especially about you problems. It helped you thought most of you problems and the one's it didn't help you with you turned to a silver blade that ran across you are or leg, with that all pain was forgotten. You had started cutting when you were 12 and had lost our mother. No one knew you did this. You remembered a time back in 3rd year when Draco had caught a glimpse of one of the scars, you had to lie to him an say you slipped and cut yourself while shaving your legs. Surprisingly he believed you with this. Draco had always been there for you especially when your mother died. When your mother died you had become extra vulnerable and distant from everyone. Draco at this point took it upon himself you protect you, he became your big brother. That was till a year ago. Something changed and he became quite nasty towards you. Before then Draco protected you from everything and everyone. You loved that but at the same time despised it.

This happened to be one thing on your mind you just didn't know how to put it on paper. You were at a loss. You really missed the old Draco, he may not have been nice to everyone but he was nice to you, he was your best friend. Now you depended on Blaise and Flint. You would have been friends with Pansy and Millicent but they are so annoying.

ooooooooohhhhhhh who could it be....
At that moment you were drawn from your thoughts but a knock at your door. Annoyed by being disturbed you threw your notebook to your side table and got off you bed. As you were opening your door, think it was your sister asking you to play again you let out a frustrated sigh.
What? you asked annoyed.
Just thought Id let you know the Malfoys are here. Draco will probably be up soon, always is isnt he? you brother answered walking in. Is that what your wearing to dinner because if you are let me tell you dads gonna freak.
Firstly I doubt Draco will come willingly.
Whats that? came that all too familiar snide.
You turned around to see Draco in a tux standing in your door way.
Nothing that would matter to you. Now if you dont mind you two, Id like to change so get out.
Little snappy today are we. Well fine. Hey Taylor, why dont we go talk about Quidditch. With that Draco walked out and down towards Taylors room.
Look I dont know whats going on right now but I want to know later, okay?

Good, now get changed. Maybe that black dress. It looks good on you. You have about 45 minutes.
