{BOB} Like It Or Not, I'm All You Got {MORRIS} 20!

I rushed into the ER. There were people running everywhere.
"Please help! She's taken pills and she won't wake up." The nurse looked me up and down. She called over an intern.
"Get this lady to room 23." They put Viv in a wheel chair and brought her to a room with lots of machines. A doctor rushed past me.
"I'm afraid you'll have to step out if you aren't a relative. We have to pump her stomach." He said.
"I'm her brother." I lied.
He nodded and I sat on the opposite side to all the action. I held her hand as they preformed the procedure. It was awful. She cried out as they did and I felt so horrible for it.
I sat in the room later with her as she slept. They were shifting her out the next morning. I'd have to go early though. We were shipping out tomorrow.
At around 6 am she opened her eyes.
"Bob? Where am I?" she blinked, looking around.
"The hospital. I had to take you here after you passed out last night." I said, stiffly.
"Thank you so much! I remember them doing something with my stomach. What happened?"
"They had to pump it because you took too many pills. Since when have you been taking them? It's not like you Viv!"
At this point she burst into tears. I took her hand and squeezed it.
"It all got too much out here! After I came I was pretty down over how I'd left things with you. One night I was at a party with a few people and I started swallowing these little white pills. They made me feel so alive! I felt sexy, and wanted with those pills. It was so nice for a change. I kept taking them on and off. I can give up though. I don't want to do this anymore, Bob." She sighed.
"Then don't." I said. She looked at me like I was crazy.
"What? There's nothing else I can do."
"Come on tour with me! When we get back to Chicago we can get a place together! Please Viv, you're not yourself out here. I don't want to lose the amazing girl that is you!"
She looked out the window for a few seconds.
"Get me my phone." She said simply. I got it quickly from her bag.
She dialled a number and it rang for a few seconds.
"Cynthia, it's Vivienne.. I know about that Uh huh LISTEN TO ME! Good. I want to tell you that I'm quitting. I'm going home as soon as I've filled this week's assignments.. I don't care what you tell them. If they have a problem they can ring me!...... Okay. I'm hanging up now."
With that Viv threw her phone on the ground where it smashed in half.
"Oops!" she giggled. "Now what was that about a place in Chicago?"
