Okay, the first part os the past, little kid Snape. The second part is where he's dying/dead.
[Yes, James and Lily belong together, but Snape was so in love with Lily. It fits.]

Lily and Me
I let him take her away from me, a long time ago. In fact, I lost her, a 'longer time that that' ago. I missed her for a long time too. I think I began missing her when she started to spend more time with James than with me. I hated James so much. I met Lily first. I told Lily everything she needed to know about school. I was friends with Lily first.
But there was no way it would ever be Lily and Me.
Ever again.

He had Lily's eyes. Everyone said so. Everyone managed to be right. I made him look at me, in those last seconds. I wanted to see Lily's eyes. Maybe if I was lucky, Lily had forgiven me by now. That, I think, would be nice. If she was the one that came and got me.
James, I don't think I'd care if James came too. I might even be glad if he came. Maybe I could go there with them. He won. I accepted it a long time ago. And then, Harry was gone. I hope I had protected him to Lily's wishes. It was the best I could manage. And if I did not meet the standards, then Lily, I am sorry.
And then I saw her.
It was Lily.
She held out her hand to me and said,
"Hi, Severus."
I saw Sirius, James, Remus, everyone. But Lily reached her hand out to me first. I took it. There wasn't going to be a time where I would refuse this. After all, it looked like she had forgiven me, for everything. And for that, I was glad.
And when I grabbed her hand, I smiled.
Even if it was only this moment, it finally just got to me Lily and Me.
