Okay, I've had a new brainstorm, and I'm hoping to stick with this story idea, and get a few parts typed out fully before I start to regularly post this and my other stories. I hope you enjoy this, and remember this: I'm not too well informed about Bleach, but I'm doing research, on Wikipedia, along with downloading the manga and watching the anime every Saturday night along with downloading it too. ~Name: Roxanna
=Nicknamed 'Roxy' by friends
~Age: 15
~Height: A bit taller than Rukia, but not by a lot.
~Appearance:
=Hair- Roxy has 'weird' hair in people opinions. She dyes it because she wants it to express her individuality. For the past two to three years, she's kept it the same, because she loves it. Actually, half of it is her natural color: black. She has it divided horizontally, from the middle of her head down, and has that party dyed ruby red. The top portion, she's kept her natural color, black. It goes a bit past her shoulders, and looks kinda like Rukia's, but she straightens her hair, making it stick straight and flat. She has bangs that are cut from her eyebrows down, and is layered, like the rest of her hair, down to the bottom. She keeps her bangs tossed over her right eye, but she can still see. Most people call it emo-style, but she loves it.
=Eyes- Bright, sky blue. But, when looking closely, they sometimes have bright green and violet colored speckles in them.
=Clothing- Roxy dresses in tight-fitting clothes, mostly in the punk-rock style. She wears the 'skinny pants' along with tight-fitting various shirts, and 'flats'. She mostly dresses in both equal amounts of dark and light colors, cause in her opinion, they complete each other. She loves skater shoes along with chucks.
=Other- She is free-spirited, so she does have a few piercings. She has each ear pierced four times, along with a single metal stud in her nose. She even sometimes wears a fake lip piercing, because she is considering getting it done. As she says, there is a story behind each and every one of her piercings, much like Renji's tattoo's. But, she also has a tattoo, which nobody knows about. Its across her lower back, and it's a five petal flower, each end of the petals coming to a point, in the center of her back. On either side, vines and leaves come across. The whole thing is in black ink, with no color.
~Personality: Roxy is very free-spirited, and won't think twice about keeping something to herself. She always speaks her mind, and if something is bugging her, she'll let somebody know about it. Some people consider her a bit rude, but that's only until they get to know her, and once they do, they grow to love her. She can be very caring, and very compassionate. And, as some don't believe, she has a very caring side. She doesn't show it much, cause she's had a difficult past, and she covers it up with a 'tough-girl' reputation. She can be very random on special occasions, and she really has no common sense at all. She can also be a major klutz, and can find a way to trip over absolutely nothing.
=Likes- Storms (lightning/thunder/hail/rain), music (playing and listening to it/plays the guitar, piano, flute, and saxophone), favorite dish is dango, along with green tea, but she also adores pocky.
=Dislikes- Cold weather, being sick, most Hollows, some Shinigami, along with the surname Quincy...

~Race/Occupation: Substitute Shinigami
=Roxy is among the living, and is a substitute Shinigami, being trained because countless Hollows used to target her in her hometown. She was an orphan, but was taken in by Kiskue Urahara, who taught her to defend herself from the Hollows, and to eventually become a Shinigami.
~Zanpakuto's Name: Shisou, which means 'Shadow of Death'
~Zanpakuto's Spirit: Shisou. One of the few female swords. She takes the form of a young adult, with pure silver colored hair, that's waist length, and pulled back into a pony-tail with long strands on each side of her face. She is dressed in a Chinese styled dress, and it has past mid-thigh length slits on each side. Its black (like shadows), and she wears matching black slippers, along with a belt that's looped twice around her waist, that has an elaborately designed cross charm on it, the same one that Roxy has on a charm bracelet that she always wears.
~Zanpakuto Sealed: When Roxy carries around her Zanpakuto, it looks like a normal katana, aside from the fact that it is a bit wider and longer than a normal katana. The sheath is a dark, dark black color. The handle of the blade has dark satin black ribbons wrapped around it, with a black tassel hanging around the star shaped disk that connects the actual blade to the handle. Each point of the star has a different colored gem on the edge; consisting of black, purple, white, red, green. They stand for shadows (black), time (purple), light (white), fire (red), and earth (green). The blade is a solid black color, and is said to be quite beautiful, and its tied for the place of the most beautiful Zanpakuto in the Soul Society with Kuchiki Rukia's blade, which is solid white, the opposite of Roxy's Zanpakuto.
~Initial Release/Shikai: One Roxy says the chant, 'Tobu, Shisou!' which means, 'Spring To, Shadow of Death!', the blade transforms, and grows wider and thinner. The blade itself stays black, with a single zigzag stripe of dark purple going down the blade. It also has the tassel replaced with three ribbons, one black, one dark purple, and one white, the white one being in the middle. The blade is about a foot shorter than Roxy is at this point, and is also 3/4 of a foot wide, but it's as light as a feather to her. During this stage, Roxy can manipulate a person or a Hollow's shadow, if they possess one, and make them do anything she wishes, even against their consent. She can control their movements by their shadows. The only negative part about this is, when she is controlling the opponents shadow, they move at the exact same time as she does. It could be dangerous if its against another Shinigami, because they might hold their sword in the same hand, but its a good thing that Roxy is a lefty, and mostly every Shinigami that she's met has been a righty. Also, at this point, her sword is longer than most Zanpakuto's so she could stab an enemy first, and hopefully not get stabbed herself. No Hollow who has witnessed her Initial Release has survived, so hardly anyone knows the true power of her blade.
~Final Release/Bankai: Roxy has yet to achieve her Zanpakuto's Final Release, she is close to it, but needs to grow a bit stronger before she can actually use it. She's accomplished it once in training, but has since yet to fully master it. But, she knows by meditating with Shisou that her Bankai is powerful, and Shisou doesn't think that Roxy is ready yet (She is already very strong, and hold trump cards, and Shisou doesn't want the Bankai to be another thing she adds to her collection of powers that she hides from people), she needs to learn to trust people better and maybe to love and be loved in return. Yeah, Shisou is a very gushy romantic type of person...
~Kido: When Roxy was sent to the Academy in the Soul Society, she was the first in her class in Kido, the demon arts. Her grades were even higher than Rukia's, and Rukia is a bit envious at that.
Ok, now her past...
Roxy was an orphan at a young age, and was sent to an orphanage. There, she made a few friends, but she hated the place. She was passed from foster home to foster home, but the people wound up giving her back, or something bad would happen to them. Even at a very young age Roxy was able to see, touch, talk to, and channel spirits. She would talk to them, but nobody else could see them and they would think she was crazy and talking to thin air. Then, when faced with a Hollow at the age of seven, she met Urahara Kiskue. He and his 'staff' defeated the Hollow, and they even took her in. Urahara trained Roxy, and helped her advance her spiritual powers, and to control them. She had a huge amount of power, and that's what drew the Hollows to her. At the age of ten, she officially became a Soul Reaper, or a Shinigami, through Urahara's training. He then sent her to the Academy in the Soul Society, when he had some higher ups pull a few strings so she could enter the Academy. He kept her body in the living world, with a gikongan, or an Artificial Soul, inside of her body. Since she left, she's been in the Soul Society, which has been five years. She has become great friends with Kuchiki Rukia, along with a few others in the Soul Society. But, she desperately wishes to go back to Karakura Town, where she was originally from. She is also a member of the 10th Division.

[Roxy's P.o.V.]
I'm really missing home...Well, the place that I've considered my home for a while now. A place where I truly belong. You thought with a lonely sigh as you lightly tapped your hand on the hilt of your Zanpakuto, waiting for someone.
Actually, the sight was a little weird for anyone. Your hair, your piercings, and your weird shihakusho, the Shinigami uniform. Yours was somewhat traditional, but you had to have your own spin-off of it. Your shihakusho consisted of the regular kimono top, with the long black sleeves, but yours was just a top. It was still short, but it went down to a bit above your mid-thighs. Instead of a white sash, you wore a white obi, because you thought it was a bit prettier. You also wore weird stockings, considering that they were red and black striped. They stopped a bit before your top did, but you didn't care. It did its job, to bring out the red in your hair. You still wore the traditional straw like sandals.
"Areru-Chan!" You heard called out in a childish voice, and you immediately hung your head a bit, and wished that it wasn't who you thought it was.
But, she was the only one who called you Areru, which meant 'Stormy'. But, it also meant 'To lose ones temper' which you seemed to do a lot. And you also loved the rain and storms, which seemed to make that name fit even more...
And, she chose that as your nickname.

And that was so like Yachiru.
"Yachiru?" You called out, turning around and spotting the very short, pink haired, Lieutenant of the 11th Division.
"Correct, Areru-Chan~!" The pink haired Lieutenant pronounced happily as she squealed and gave you a peace-sign.
"What's going on, Yachiru...?" You asked, giving her a suspicious look.
"U-Uh, nothin!" She answered quickly, "Can't a friend come see a friend? Or is that against the law?"
"No, something's up, Yachiru. What is it? Come on, spill it."
You always seemed to loose your temper around her. Maybe because she was always hyper, or maybe it was her pink hair... You really disliked the color pink. Heck, maybe it was just because Yachiru was just plain annoying to you. She knew which of your buttons to press, and she always pressed them.
"Well, I dunno if I was supposed to tell ya this..." She said trailing off, "But Rukia-Chan has gone and disappeared."
"Rukia's WHAT?!" You asked, jumping and running so you were right in front of Yachiru.
"She's disappeared. She went down to the World of the Living, and we can't detect her presence now. It's like she disappeared." Yachiru explained.
"And why did she go down there?" You asked, inquiring about Rukia's mission.
"She went to find and exterminate a Hollow. But, it wasn't a big Hollow, so we have no idea what went wrong." She explained.
"Urgh!" You exclaimed, slumping down, "I've got to go and get Rukia back!"
"Well, you'll have to speak to the higher ups. They have to open the gates, so you actually can go back, and you'll have to arrange for you to have a gigai while searching for her, and sleeping arrangements, and...and..." Yachiru explained, all in one breath until you stopped her.
"Yachiru, I do have a place, and I do have a body. My body. I'm not dead yet. I was among the living. That's why I thought it would be best if I went to find Rukia. I know the World below better than many of the other Shinigami." You explained to her.
"Wha! You mean your alive?!" Yachiru explained, jumping up and trying to look you straight in the eyes.
"Yep, I sure am!" You explained, giving her your version of the peace sign, which only had your thumb between your pointer and middle finger, along with the peace sign looking slated pointing like a pair of scissors, "I've got to go now! Thanks for the tip, Yachiru-Chan~!"
After that, you then ran as fast as you could, past the small Yachiru, without even stopping till you got to the Headquarters.
Rukia, wait for me! You thought as you quickly stopped, dust flying up and obstructing your vision, Please be okay, Rukia. You were my first true friend. Wait for me! I'll be there soon!
Go, Roxy! Go!
