Waking up the next morning I had forgotten about my friends being here. They sound so quiet right now, and that right there is a total change. My friends are usually loud and wide awake.
'They must have stayed up late last night... figures.' I chuckled afterwards at the thought of what they would be like now. But I'll have to wait and see after my one hour of getting ready. One hour is the average time that I take every morning to get ready for the day. The saddest part about it being: around 65-80% of the time is wasted on my mediciney stuff. On some days that section goes by relatively fast; on the majority of the days it's either slow or at a constant speed.
"Well hey there Miss Sayuri, how was your night?" A very sleep Jasmine yawned to me.
"Fine. How late were you up?"
"Pretty late, we started playing this one game that I can't remember and it took an eternity. God I can't believe we have to do more studying today!" I sweetly smiled to my annoyed friend.
"It won't be that bad, we'll only study for a little bit today. I'm going to go to town; do you want to come with me?"
"No offense Sayuri, but I'm going to go to bed."
"No problem. Tell the rest of the girls I left." Jasmine nodded her head and yawned again. I giggled and grabbed my coat from the hallway closet.
"Don't get sick!" She called out to me before I left. I only rolled my eyes at her choice of words.
My rap for getting sick easily still follows me. I hate it so much to the point that I don't even care about it. Getting sick is something I expect to happen. I'm waiting for it to happen, since I haven't been sick in a while.
I wrapped my red scarf around my neck. It was a chilly day, but this is early spring and early in the morning. Unlike most days I chose on wearing pants today. I have a week off from school to prepare for those tests. Also meaning I have a week off to forget my school uniform; even though that's what I usually wear.
"Morning Neji." I smiled to Neji Hyuuga. Him and I were on good terms; that annoyes Sasuke a lot.
"Morning Sayuri. Isn't it a little early?"
"Mmm hmm, but I only need a few things from town."
"You better hurry up then, people are saying there's a storm coming. It'll be a bad one too."
"Oh, thanks Neji. Good luck in the Chuunin Exams." I smiled and we both went on our ways.
'Oh great. Another storm. It's not even the rainy season, and that's in the late fall. I might as well do as Neji said, get what I need and head back home.'
I quickly went into a few markets. I grabbed all the things I needed easily and quickly get home. How ever, just as I finished my arrands the rain was quickly pouring. Knowing Sasuke, he would have forced me to stay where I was until the rain ended. But that can be hours, and I'm not going to stand here for hours just so I can get home.
I sighed and did the most stupidest thing. I stepped out into the rain and started walking home. Sasuke and the girls would be disappointed at me, but I'm a big girl. I can handle the rain for a couple minutes.
"Oh you're back!" Tara said smiling and hugged me.
"And you're wet too." Midori pointed out. Tara would have screamed and backed off but she didn't this time.
"I don't wanna study!" Tara started complainining.
This is why she didn't let go of me. I sighed and rolled my eyes. I prepared myself for you whining and complaining. She went off saying that we did so much yesterday, I'm tired, we'll all be tired. All excuses.
"Okay! We won't study!" Jasmine screamed while walking past us. Tara smiled and let go of me.
Finally.
"Who wants something to eat?" I kindly asked. A surprise response of groans was my reply.
'They ate too much sugary stuff last night.' It served them right, but I have no place to say anything. Sugary things are all right for me but I don't have them very often. Though my girls can eat those candies with no problem. But the after effect is horrible for them, makes me almost not want to eat what they ate.
"Sasuke came over looking for you." Sumi informed me. Only she quickly left the room to head to the bathroom.
What could Sasuke have wanted me? It's early out and rainy, he probably wouldn't have came here. I hope he only came to visit, not tell me something important. If he did I'll never know what he had to say and he'll be a little ticked off.
Alone in the kitchen I put everything away in their order. Seeing as none of my friends were hungry I made food for myself. I made extras incase they did get hungry later on. While making the food I felt someone come in the kitchen. That someone hugged me from the back and kissed my cheek.
"I came by and you weren't here." Sasuke whispered. I softly frowned.
"I know, I was out buying food." I replied.
"I still have something to tell you. But I'll wait until you're done and we're in your room." Typical Sasuke; wanting to be in privacy. And I always respect his wishes.
"Okay, want any food?"
"Just a little. After we talk I have to go train."
I smiled and gave Sasuke a little of food. I gave myself a little more food and grabbed a glass of water. Together we went upstairs to my room. Before eating I took my medicine, Sasuke sat down on a chair that had a small round table near it and waited for me.
"I want you to watch out. There'll be countless ninjas from different countries walking around the village. I don't want you to get hurt."
"Okay Sasuke." He doesn't believe me, he's going to make me promise.
"Promise me Sayuri." See? I know him all too well.
"I primse you Sasuke. If it makes you feel better I'll take someone will me." Sasuke softly smiled and kissed me.
"Thank you Sayuri. I have to go train now."
"But it's raining." I said.
"Only a little bit, the skies will stay dark but the rain will end." With that said Sasuke turned around and left.
I sighed and took out my binders from last night. If they're not going to study I'll study by myself. There's nothing at all to do here. I'm not even sure what the rest of the girls are doing, but I know it's nothing that's any good. But naturally they're good people, they respect me.
I spent hours in my room studying. Studying for nothing I need to worry about. I'm smart, I work hard. I'll pass that exam. I've passed it as many times as I've been given it. But I can still study for safe keepings. Just incase anything happens.
Sasuke asked me watch him train. He was training while I was softly doozing off. I've only been here for little over an hour. It's warm out today, a nice change in the past couple days. Sasuke's making up for the time he lost those rainy days. I'm finding myself rolling my eyes at him often.
'I love how dedicated he is... but he'll never be like Itachi. No matter how much he tries. Itachi was a prodigy. It will take a long time for Sasuke to ever catch up to Itachi.... We don't even know what's going on with Itachi. He's been gone for five years now; no word, no sign. It's like he vanished...'
I doozed off for a few seconds then woke myself up. This went on for a little while until I finally fell asleep. Sleep felt so nice right; I don't know why. I've been sleeping fine lately. Just a little more than usual. It's hard to say if Sasuke noticed my sleeping figure. But when I woke up nothing had changed. Maybe it had gotten a little cooler out; but he's been where he's been and I've been where I've been.
I wonder if he even noticed I fell asleep. I don't make much noise to begin with... he never notices. It's amazing he still notices me. I have Sasuke again and I hate how much he changed due to Itachi. And he'll never get over it. I'm tired of it. I use to be affect by Itachi's murderous actions but I grew up. Wht he did didn't affect me directly; I actually miss Itachi. Though you'll never hear that from my lips.
