I sigh while swinging my feet off the side of counter while waiting for Peter to answer his phone. Patrick answered his when I called him to bug him about absolutely nothing in general. What can I say, I miss my friend, but I miss my husband more.
Just as I'm about to hang up, Pete's voice comes from the other end. "Don't hang up the phone! I'm here! Don't leave."
I laugh, "I won't."
"I miss you Evelyn."
"I miss you too, Pete. So, you have a dog?"
"I guess I forgot to mention that. Hey, Ev, my mom is bringing Hemmingway to your place since I decided to leave him there when we came back."
"I noticed. He's very friendly."
"What makes you say that, babes."
I sigh. I hate pet names. "He won't leave Star alone. I think he adopted her as his sibling."
"Well he is a friendly boy. Oh, while I'm thinking about it, I got a call today from a magazine. They're doing an issue on celebrity couples and we're one."
"And you found this out when?"
"Last week. I meant to call you then, but I got so excited after hearing your voice that I forgot."
"It's okay."
"I love you Evelyn," he says quietly, but deeply.
"I love you too. Do you want to talk to Jamie?"
"Yes I do."
I call for her and hand her the phone. She asks me who it is and she gets excited after finding out.
"Hi Daddy," she says happily.
My heart skipped a beat when she said that, too. It wasn't a bad skipping, a very good one. I'm still getting use to it. I still feel like I'm in puppy love, although I know I'm not.
I hop of the counter and then grab it for support. I'm very dizzy. Very, very, dizzy. I put my hand over my mouth, and dart my eyes to the hallway. I need a bathroom. I'm always sick now.
After getting into the bathroom and making the toilet my best friend, Jamie walks in with the phone.
"Are you okay Mommy?"
I wave at her.
"I'm calling Grammy."
I wave her off again and continue to empty out my stomach. I have a strong dislike for this sickness. I wasn't this sick during the day with Jamie. This pretty much sucks.
After emptying my stomach, I slowly stand up and lean on the bathroom sink counter for support. I brush my death and then go into the living room to lay on the couch.
"Alright, I have soup and some medication," my mother says while walking into the house.
"I'm not allowed to be taking certain medication."
"It's okay. Now, sit up."
"Mom, if I move I'll get dizzy and throw up again."
"Now, don't worry about it. Sit up and take these," she says while sticking two white pills in front of my face.
I slowly sit up and take the two pills she gave me.
"They'll make you fall asleep soon."
"Woah, I don't need these to sleep."
"Yes you do. Listen to me carefully. I'm taking Jamie home."
I blink at her, the pills are working already, "Uhuh."
"Alex is coming over to take care of you."
I nod, "How about Mama Wentz?"
"Alright, I can call her," my mom says in a mean tone. She doesn't like Mama Wentz since she had Pete and I married Pete. She doesn't like Pete.
Not too long after my mom picking up the phone, I fall asleep. She probably would have wanted me in my room, but I would have fought her since where I fall asleep is where I like to stay asleep.
Maybe three or four hours after passing out, I wake up to my stomach growling. I glare at it and then look over at Mama sitting on the couch with Hemmingway.
"Morning," she says.
I wave at her and then stretch. When I go to sit up, I sit up too fast and have to put my head between my legs to stop from throwing up. Mama comes over and rubs my back.
"You hungry?"
"A bit."
"Alright," she says while grabbing my arm. "Come on, lets get you to the kitchen. And Pete called."
"What'd he say?"
"At first he was worried that I answered your phone, then he told me to have you call him."
I smile, "Can't go a whole few hours without me. I feel special."
We make it to the kitchen and I lean on the counter. I'm so tired right now, it just shows how much sleep I've been missing.
"After you eat, how about we get you a bath ready?"
"I love you for staying with me."
"It's what family is for. Now, sit down at the island."
I sit down and lay my head down, which is quickly brought back up by the nauseating smell of soup. I cover my hand over my mouth and push the bowl away while shaking my head 'no'.
"You have to eat something."
"How about something that doesn't make me want to die."
She laughs at me and takes the soup away, "How about an apple."
"That I can handle."
She sits an apple in front of me and I quickly eat it.
"How do you feel?"
"A bit better."
"That's good. Now, I'm going to start you a bath so you can relax a bit, then Morgan and Taylor are coming to take care of you. You have a doctor's appointment tomorrow."
"Okay," I say while standing up. But unfortunately for me, this position does not last very long.
SO SORRY FOR THE WAIT, IM WORKING ON THE NEXT PART RIGHT NOW
Thankssss, sorry for the long wait.
These Endless Feelings--Pete Wentz--36
So I made the sign. Like it? Tell me if you do. Uhm, sorry so much for not being here. I'm failing my psychology class and I have to work so hard on it for me to get a higher grade. But, I brought the F to a D, so I'm allowed on the computer now. And now that I have a grasp on it I can update much more oftenThere isn't much left to this story, so be prepared for an official ending to come up. After I finish this, by the way, I have a Ryan Ross story ready to go. =]Did you like this story? Make one of your own!
