I was one of those people who would rather read then socialize with another person. Most of my classmates want to be ninjas. My father wants me to be one, but I dream of becoming something more.My dream is to become an author whose stories spirted away readers to a whold another world filled with unbelievable tales of magical creatures.
But everything changed when a simple sparring match went horribly wrong. A simple but enhanced with chakra punch collided with the back of my skull, and made my world go dark.
Yet no one knows that I am blind. Possibly it is because I wear a dark black blindfold over my eyes.
But recently I stopped wearing it and replaced the blindfold with the forehead protecter I recieved for graduating out of the Ninja Academy. I place it across my eyes and no one can see the tell-tale sign of blinded eyes. Most people assume that I wear it there to help increase and enhance my other senses, but that is where they are completely wrong.
My teammates are someone you would know. My name is Myana and I'm stuck on a team with Hatake Kakashi as my teacher. He's always late to training with some pathetic excuse.I am older than my teammates since I started the academy late.
Kakashi-Sensei found out my secret after the first few days. One day after the others had left, he yanked at my Hiati-ate off my face and accused me of keeping my blindness hidden.
"How did you know? " I asked, unblinkingly.
"Because of the way you acted," Kakashi murmured his voice a soothing noise.
Warningly I ordered, "Don't tell anyone,"
Without a word or carefully built plan, he gripped my wrists and held them captive.
"You're not in a postion to be demanding anything," he said as he let go.
I felt fury rise in my cheeks. From the conversations of my other teammates, I had learned that Kakashi wore a mask over half his face. I reached up and pulled it down and untied it in the back before he could even stop me.Luckily he hadn't expected me to do it.
"Now I can," I mocked," And I won't give it back unless you promise not to tell."
I heard his chuckling laughter. Why would he laugh?
"Silly blind one. There are other ways to hide my face," he explained.
"And what are those ways?" I snapped.
"Like this," Kakashi said, his voice lowering.
In a mere instant, his lips were firmly on mine. Kakashi wrapped his arms around me and pulled me in tight.I threw my arms around his neck and gave in to the sheer pleasure of the sweet kiss as he expertly deepened it.
"Look at that! The two uncovered faces of Kakashi and Myana," Naruto's voice rang out.Dissapointment showed in his voice, "But I still can't see their faces."
I ignored the voices that followed and the slight scoff of Sasuke and the harsh slapping noise of Sakura smacking the loud mouth.
"You convinced me," I mumbled against Kakashi's lips, as we took a neccesary breath.
A sighing noise came from him, "Yes and what a tough job it wast to show you that we love one another."
My breath caught on that one four-lettered word and I yanked his lips back on mine.
It felt magical. One single sentence stood out in my mind.
Masked love was too secretive. It should of showed itself earlier.
