Prologue - I hope you missed me

Naruto was tired. Actually, tired would be an understatement. Overly and totally exhausted would be more like it. As he dragged himself down the dirt road leading to his apartment, he reflected on today's missions and activities.
First, he was late by an hour, cause he slept in. Luckily, Kakashi-sensei had been late by three hours; overshadowing Naruto's lateness. Then, training for an hour; so in other words, sparring with Sasuke non-stop for sixty minutes.
Then, half a dozen D missions, consisting of walking dogs, finding that stupid cat (again), babysitting some kids, helping the mailman with deliveries, and helping an old lady weed her garden. And all the while, the stupid granny kept glaring at Naruto and muttering under her breath about damned demons being allowed to be ninjas. Naruto was pretty sure Sakura and Sasuke didn't hear anything, but still - Naruto would have no one if his friends found out what he was. They would shun him, just like everyone else.
'Well, not everyone...' Naruto thought, perking up a bit at the thought of someone he knew would never abandon him, but then went back to pouting.
'She left awhile ago...it's been two whole years now...'
In the mist of all of this, Naruto was so deep in thought, he failed to notice two men coming up behind him.
"Well, well, well. Look who we have here."
Before Naruto could react, a large hand grabbed him by his shoulder and yanked him back. Two other hands jerked his hands back behind him, and held them there, so he was unable to make any hand signs.
"It's the fox demon, going out for a stroll like he owns the village."
Naruto almost threw up right then and there, because the man's breath reeked of alcohol, as he hissed the words next to Naruto's whiskered cheeks.
"Hey, idiots!" The two men looked up, searching wildly to find where the voice came from. Really, it was pointless, because the sun was almost gone, the fence and other objects casting shadows all over.
"Leave him the hell alone!"
Before Naruto could see where the person came from, he was knocked to the ground,
the man that was grasping him fell on top of Naruto, crushing him under his weight.
Pain struck his head from hitting the ground, and slowly, his vision faded to black, with the last thing he saw was a pair of familiar sapphire eyes.
As Naruto was slowly pulled from the grasps of unconsciousness, pain seared through his head and vision. Moaning, he instinctively reached up to rubbed his head, only to yelp from the sting his touch made from touching the bump he had received from hitting the ground.
"That's enough siesta[1] bro. Time to wake up."
Naruto blinked in surprise, trying to get his vision to adjust to the light faster. When he could keep his eyes open without them hurting, a very familiar face was hovering inches above his own, staring down with concern. And it wasn't familiar because it was almost like his own. Sapphire eyes stared down into Narutos azure blue ones, some of the blond spikes falling around her face. Her cheeks were whiskered just as his was, with the same tanned skin.
"Nyko!"
She laughed as her brother tackled her around the middle, hugging her as if his life depended on it.
"I didn't think youd miss me that much Naruto."

Personality:
Very laid-back, easy-going person. Unless you get her riled up of course. Shes friendly to people she meets, unless they are rude to her. Then, she gets nasty. She can get very mean and offensive in an instant, and its never wise to make an enemy of her. Shes very good at arguing and making come-backs, so its practically impossible win in an argument against her if she really wants to win.
She tries to look at the good in life, and enjoy every minute she can. Sometimes, she fails and starts to sulk for awhile, until something snaps her out of it.
And even though she seems cheerful and open, she hides a lot of things.
