...::The Hassle of all the Screaming Fits::...Chevelle's Joe Loeffler...Part 1 of Part 10 - Tour

"Oh, you think that's funny do ya?!" -Joe
"Not in the least bit" -you say, obviously being sarcastic
"Well, do you think this is funny?" -he says, as you realize that youre all outside standing in front of the pool
"CUZ WE DO!" -all 3 of them yell as they toss you 3 girls in the pool
next thing you know youve just landed in the water...but not without taking Joe with you. As you come up from the water, you see that not only is Joe in the water, but so are Pete and Sam
"ha ha ha. You guys suck! You got pulled under too!!" -you tease jokingly
"Yeah? I didnt notice. " -Sam says sarcastically joking
"Hey, this is fun and all, but I think we should get going. Joe said John wanted to talk to us so we better not keep him waiting" -Pete
"Ok than" -you say like a little kid hanging you head down and walking to get out of the pool
You all go back up to your room and change out of your wet clothes into your clean dry ones. You walk out of the bathroom to see Chuck and Charlie wearing the exact same thing you areblack pants, white "HOOTERS" shirt, and chucks, which were the only thing that were different. They both turn and look at you and then each other, then back at you.
"Ill go change" -you say, grabbing your bag and going back into the bathroom. You decided on wearing faded looking blue jeans that were ripped at the bottom from constant wearing them, plain black shirt, and you kept your grey chucks on. Youre in the middle of putting your shirt on when you remembered you didnt lock the door cuz someone just walked in. it was Joe, who also didnt have a shirt on.
he obviously didnt see you cuz he went to the mirror and opened it to look for something. It wasnt until he closed the mirror and saw your reflection, he even noticed you were there.
"uhh" -was all he could say. He just kinda stood there staring at you like a deer in headlights. You really couldnt stop staring at him either. You had seen him shirtless in Chevelles videos, but it was nothing compared to up close in personal. He was only 5 feet away, but then you realized that you hadnt gotten your shirt on all the way either, so you hugged your shirt a little closer to your exposed chest and suddenly became interested in the mats in the bathroom floor
"im sorry, I just came in looking for the tooth paste and an extra tooth brush. Charlie said they were in here. " -He said quickly and quietly and rushed out the door.
wow was the only thing that came to mind.
You finished getting dressed and headed out to the living area where you saw everybody, including the still wet guys.
"Oh shit! I forgot that you guys didnt have any clothes. Well, we could wait here for you guys to get back from your place or if youd like, we could follow you guys there and then to the studio cuz I have no fuckin clue where its at. We got lost the first time we went there. " -You
"Why dont you follow us to our place to we could just take off from there? " -Sam
"Alright then. " -you
you all leave to the parking lot and get into your cars and head to the guys house. Once there they go to their rooms and change within 5 minutes
"Alright then, lets get goin" -Pete

SKIPPING TO THE STUDIO

You finally arrive to the studio at about 10 am, and ask John whats going on
"Ok. I just got a call from Don Gilmore, Linkin Parks record producer and he said that he got a call from Disturbed and Godsmacks producers asking if we wanted to do a tour with them. And I also want Amoeba to go with them to get a little more publicity. But before the tour, you have to get the record finished. Thats also the reason I brought you down here. I know you guys have your own songs, so I want you to pick 10 of your originals, the one you and Chevelle did together, and 1 cover song; that one you can also do with Chevelle if youd like. " -John
"Wow man, a tour with Godsmack, Disturbed, Linkin Park, and Amoeba? How long is it gonna be? " -Pete
"Well, its gonna be quite a long one. Roughly around a year and a half" -John
all six of your mouths just drop. Especially yours, Charlies, and Chucks. The only think that was running though your mind was how to tell mom?
"Ok then, do you know when well be leaving? " -you
"Youll be leaving in about 6-8 months from now so we can get all the advertisements out, schedule dates, reserve places, and get your guys album done. " -John
"Ok" -you
"Ok, now that thats taken care of, are there any ideas on what songs you guys wanna put on the record yet?" -John
"Yeah. We started writing a list of songs out for when we were gonna record a demo. " -Charlie
"Ok. Give me a copy of the list by tomorrow so we can start some ideas on the CD covers and what not. Then practice a little on those songs cuz tomorrow we start this thing. " -John
with that you leave the building and head back to your place. They guys decided to also go back to their place to shower and shit, but said theyd come right over to help on the cover song that they so gratefully wanted to work with you onagain. Youre now back at your place.
"Man, I cant believe that were gonna be gone for almost 2 years. Thats a hella long ass time. " -Charlie
"I know. And how the fuck are we gonna explain all this to mom? Shes gonna be happy for us for making it, but then shes gonna be pissed at us for not telling her about it and sneaking off." -you
"I know, what about all our family...thats gonna be the hardest for any of us. And any of them, too" -Chuck
"Alright, well discuss this all later, but right now we should be working on that list and practicing this shit" -you
not too long after youve decided on the record list, Chevelle comes in (they also have a key to your room, where as you all also have a key to their house)
"Hows it goin? You figure any thing out yet? " -Sam
"Yeah, we got the whole play list set up and we were just about to start practicing on them. "-You
"Ok. What do you guys got? " -Pete

"Sure. Oh, we also brought our equipment so we could practice with you guys, too. " -Joe
"Sweet" -you
"Here, Billie, you go help Joe bring the stuff in from Petes car, and the rest of us will start moving it up to the roof where we wont disrupt the neighbors" -Charlie
"Ok. See you in a bit. " -You and Joe
You and Joe are walking out to the parking lot to Petes care when he says he has something to tell you.
"What is it? Are you ok? " -You ask, getting kinda serious
"Yeah, Ill be fine once I get this off my chest..*deep breath* ok...I really wanted to tell you something about me, about you too. " -he says
You stop as you reach the car and turn to face him to talk better
"Whats up? " -you ask
