Not As Ordinary As You Think -Sasuke Romance- Chapter Six

"WAKE UP RYO!" I grabbed my pillow throwing it over my head. "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Ive got us ramen for breakfast!" he excitedly exited the room with a loud slam of the door.
"Im sick of ramen!" I screamed into the pillow.
Im so happy that the bathroom is attached to one of the guest rooms. I never knew his house was this big.
Three guest rooms, one main room. Four bathrooms, two living rooms, one kitchen and a dinning table. Oh plus a basement and attic.
I realized the time, gathering my clothes and attaching all weapons to my body, along with some weights that Kakashi wanted me to wear from now on.
I felt so slow, my legs seemed to be 100 pounds, or so it felt. "Cmon Naruto weve got to get going!" I called running down the stairs while putting my hair up.
"I love you..." my head whipped to the kitchen counter where Naruto sat, slurping his noodles with a happy grin. Sasuke leaned against the wall with pure hatred in his eyes.
"Naruto, get off and lets go!" I took the noodles from his hand, pulled him off the counter, grabbed myself an apple, then pushed him towards the door.
"Ramen!" he cried trying to claw his way back to it. "Ill take you for supper tonight to get some, stop your complaining!" I bit into the ruby red apple slipping on my sandals then rushing out the door.
That is how it normally is in the Naruto apartment anyways. I missed my home, but the Uchiha had a pretty expensive and comfy bed along with nice hot shower.
I shook my head to get the thought out of my head, "Ryo! Wait up!" Naruto ran to catch up followed by the Ice Prince sulking while he walked alone.
I looked back as he kicked a rock. Okay so I finally saw the perfect features that Sakura was always raving about.
But through my eyes it was different, call it a demonic instinct but there was something behind those dark features.
His hair so sleek and dark that just made his skin seem even more pale, youd think that after all the time he spends outside training hed have a tan like Narutos; uneven and dark.
But he didnt which amazed me. The way his hair was styled, it looked almost unnatural, I was sure he used gel or hairspray to make it look that way.
But when I looked in all the bathrooms, there wasnt one can or packet, and that was where the only mirrors where. Plus if hes serious about being a ninja then he wouldnt care about his appearance.
Unlike me, I liked to be clean I have high hygiene standards. I dont wear make-up or anything, especially for training.
His eyes were as dark as night, they almost made you feel cold the way he glares at you with so much force behind it.
He doesnt have many different expressions he shows. Ive yet to see him laugh, smile, and be grateful.
When we approached the bridge of course, Sakura was there and flew to Sasukes side. Narutos jaw hung open. "Why does she always go to him?!" he angrily yelled. "Because she has a crush on him Naruto" I rolled my eyes.
He stomped over to Sasuke and Sakura. Yep. Here comes the fighting, the screaming, the yelling, what else would happen in the morning, it be quiet? No. Never. Note: the sarcasm in my voice.
"Ill be overaway from you people" I nodded my head going to the opposite side of the bridge.
I leaned against the rail, looking at my reflection in the water.
Taka, Taka, Taka, my mind repeated the name over and over.
Where would I be able to find out who this chick is?
Of course. I happily hit the rail with my fist smiling to the sky.
He was hinting me on a library!
We dont have a library here in Konoha. We have the academys scrolls of each student, but something tells me that if Kakashi didnt know this girls name then she wasnt a student.
The only other scrolls that might have something about it isThe Hokages. I doubt hell let me just look through all the important scrolls he has. Ill have to sneak in.
A noise was cutting through the air, I reached into my pocket throwing my own weapon at the other both colliding. Falling to the floor of the bridge.
"Where did that come from?!" Naruto yelled at me. I shrugged eyes still on my water reflection, "Well someone was trying to hurt you again!" he puffed out his chest walking over with a strut trying to make himself look all muscular.
I poked his stomach making him deflate. "Alright Macho man, and I take it youll protect me?" I laughed going over and picking up my kunai and examining the unknown other.
"Is someone after you, Ryoko?" Sakura timidly asked hugging Sasukes arm tighter. I clued in that Naruto had said that out loud.
"No! Not at all Sakura, Naruto was just joking!" I laughed getting to my feet with a smile. "No I-" my hand slapped over Narutos mouth.
Sakura looked at me weirdly. "Its just a game me and Naruto play" I shrugged with a nervous smile, then I saw the 'poof' of a silver haired Jounin that made me breathe a little easier.
"Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto yelled through my hand, prying it off. Sakura let go of Sasukes arm turning around with a red face. "YOURE LATE!" she screamed. Naruto ran over to her joining in on the yelling argument.
I sighed, not aware that someone was still watching me. I picked up the kunai, a piece of parchment was wrapped around the handle.
I peeled it off, reading its contents then slipping it in my pocket. "What did it say?" I froze eyes wide and a icy chill crawled its way up my spine from being caught red handed.
I regained my self-possession standing to my feet spinning around with my arms crossed in front of my chest.
"Thats for me to know...and you to...find-wait. No youll never find out" I changed the ending making my what I thought 'smooth' comment turn to complete mush.
"Hn" he looked away towards Kakashi and I strode past him. He gave me a look with that freakish one eye of hisseriously its just creepy.
"Kakashi I need to talk with you. Its urgent" Naruto and Sakura had turned their attention to each other screaming and smacking, hitting and yelling.
He stepped aside neither the blonde or the pink haired ninja noticing his disappearance. "What is it?" he plainly stated, no emotion in the question what so ever.
"A kunai was thrown at me in daylight in front of everyone, this was on it..." I took the paper out of my pocket and gave it to him.
"Hmm..." he seemed to be contemplating on something I didnt ask what just continued with my story. "Ive figured out that to find out who this 'Taka' girl is, I need to take a gander at the Hokages scrolls about the countries history and such" I started to pace back and fourth.
"Perfect timing" he handed the paper back to me, I snatched it from his grasp. "What do you mean?" I raised an eyebrow at him.
"I was just about to take us all to the Hokages to get another mission. This might be your chance" he then started walking away.
"I didnt finish!" I yelled stamping my foot watching him leave careless about the matter of someone else wanting me dead, possibly the person who has been after me all along.
"Im going to need the entire teams help..." I mumbled looking down at the paper. It was true, the Hokage would have guards all over the place, protecting the scared scrolls and himself from attack or enemy eyes from seeing Konohas most private secrets.
I sighed rubbing my eyes then re-reading the paper;

"Dammit all to hell!" I shoved the paper back in my pocket being ever so slightly flustered. "Cmon Ryoko! Wouldnt want you to fall behind even more now would we?" Kakashi jadedly rolled an eyes directing me towards the rest of my 'team'.
All day Kakashi had two people run laps, while the other two sparred. Currently the weights were having their effect on me and I was slowing down regularly.
Sakura threw a few kunai at me, which I lazily dodged, Sakura was more brains than brawn. Kakashi was in the shade reading his perverted book, but still somehow knew if we were training or not.
"Kakashi-sensei, can we take a break yet? None of us have had lunch yet, even the boys are tired, they arent being as competitive as before" Sakura whined swiping some sweat off of her forehead.
"Really?" the Jounin actually looked up to see the boys running at a jogging pace, panting side by side. "Oh thats easy to fix though..." I shrugged.
She turned to me with an up raised eyebrow. "How? Theyre physically both exhausted, I doubt even sheer will can make them push themselves any harder" Sakura stuck her nose in the air, "Besides, Sasuke would out run Naruto anyways" she went to attack me again but I threw a kunai at her shoulder catching on the sleeve of her red dress.
"Naru, can so beat that guy" I crossed my arms in front of my chest, then cupped my hands around my mouth.
"Whoever reaches that tree first wins!" I called to them, their heads perked up. "Wins what?!" Naruto asked with a tilted head to the side. "Wins bragging rights to being the strongest!" I called to them again.
Both looked at each other with electricity and determination in their eyes, also both took off like they had just been healed from any fatigue they were suffering from.
"Itll be a tie" Kakashi absentmindly stated, getting to his feet putting his pervy book in a pocket. "Probably" "I agree" Sakura nodded, and I pulled out the kunai she gave a grateful eye roll.
CRASH
"I WON I BEAT SASUKE!" Naruto happily sang out loud. "No you didnt dobe. I beat you" Sasuke seemed to brush himself off, without much interest in Narutos chanting.
"Sasuke-kun! You won!" Sakura gushed running to his side, hugging his arm. "No way!" I stood with hands on my hips, and seemed to forget all about my training.
"Naru so kicked his ass!" I pointed a finger at her then marched over, "Yeah! I told you I won! Believe it!" Naruto made a face at Sasuke.
"Like my Sasuke-kun would loose to someone like Naruto" Sakura stuck her nose in the air. I knew Naruto felt hurt by the comment, he was already sensitive about having Kyuubi inside him. He never showed it, over the years hes hidden his emotions about the subject not wanting the others to find something else to pick on him about.
I looked quickly at the blonde to see his reaction, his face went through different stages before it landed on anger and pain.
I could feel the skin stretch across my knuckles making them turn white. Nobody makes fun of my friends especially when Naruto probably didnt even realize she didnt mean Kyuubi.
Naruto went to say something, but nothing came out. He liked Sakura and she made him feel like dirt, why cant he just like someone else?
Naruto turned around and began walking away. Sakura gave a happy smile and turned to Sasuke, "Sasuke can you walk me h-" "I honestly dont see what he sees in you, what anybody can see in someone when they act like this to them..." Sakuras face turned to me, "What?" she innocently shrugged.
I couldnt speak, knowing full well Id regret it. "Never mind" I bit my bottom lip seeing both teens in front of me studying my expressions.
"Training is over for the day" Kakashi appeared behind me. "Doesnt matter, I was leaving anyways..." I continued to watch Sakura until I ran after the fox boy.
I found him where else? Getting ramen, but he only picked through it, only eatting it every so often. "Whats gotten you down today kid?" the man working there asked, I had yet to catch his name.
"Hey, Naru" I sat down beside him, he made no response to acknowledge my presence. "Naruto, she didnt mean it like that" "Yes she did!" he snapped two cerulean pools stared angrily back at me. Looking sadder than Ive ever seen.
"Shes a school girl with a crush, to her nothing gets in the way with 'Sasuke'" I rolled my eyes at what all the fuss was about.
"I seriously cant see what she sees in him...he wants to kill people, great we have a assassin in the making right here in Konoha" I mumbled with a sigh tightening the pony tail my hair was kept back in.
"You really mean that...?" he asked his facial features returning to their soft normal state.. "Of course I do! The guy is justI dunno I get a weird vibe around him" he started eating at the ramen now.
"Hey, I know what we can doit cheered you up last time" he stopped eating a horrific look crossed his face. "You dont mean...?" he blinked.
"Yep!" I stood up grabbing him by the wrist. "No! Ill die again BELIEVE IT!" "You didn't die before so you cant do it again. What are you chicken?" I continued to drag him. "No...fine" he stopped struggling and walked normally.
"Why are you holding onto my arm?" he asked me, I let a chuckle leave me lips. "In case you try to run away before were done" "Dammit!" he swore making my smile widen.
