I hope you guys like this one. Kinda sweet.

BANNERS APPRECIATED!

I was smiling to myself, applying some eyeliner in the mirror. The second we got to school, we got on those big, ugly, bulky buses and headed out towards Eagle Mountain to go skiing. Okay, so Eagle Mountain couldn't exactly be classified as a mountain, more like a gigantic hill. But it was a ski trip, nevertheless.
There was a knock at my door. I opened it and there was Jason, giving me a dark glare. I tilted my head to the side in question. He never even associated himself with me. Why would he go to all of his troubles to go up the stairs and to my bedroom?
"Jackie says to hurry up." He turned on his heel and walked back down the stairs, almost robotronically.
Those were the first words he'd said to me in a long time.
I wish they could've been a bit nicer or personal.
I closed the door and grabbed my bag to go on the ski trip with. No, I wasn't planning on doing much skiing. I'd probably stay in the lodge and drink hot cocoa. I knew Lacey was skiing, though. And Aiden said he planned on it. Great. Leave Jesse all on his lonesome.
I walked downstairs and to the car. Jackie got in the driver's seat and glanced over at me, "Got enough stuff?"
I shrugged, "Better be prepared."
"You're not even skiing. Why do you need all of that?"
"Jacquelyn..."
She didn't press the matter any further. Like usual, she gave in to me, knowing I'd win in the long run. Plus, she hated it when I used her full name.
I tapped my fingers on my kneecap to Paper Airplanes (Makeshift Wings) by AFI.
We pulled into the school parking lot just in time for the song to end, and I waved to Jackie, "See you Wednesday."
She nodded and I walked in the cafeteria doors, where we'd been told to go in order to sign in to leave.
Lots of chatter was heard, and I skipped over to where Lacey and Aiden were standing. In silence, I might add. I smiled at Aiden and he smiled back. Lacey rolled her eyes.
"Boys! Over here! Girls, go to Mrs. Richards." Mr. Davidson yelled.
Aiden and I waved goodbye to Lacey and walked over to Mr. Davidson. He looked over at all the boys.
"Let's get you boys straight here."
Aiden and I gave each other quick glances, stifling laughter at the joke Mr. Davidson didn't understand was funny.
"You are boys. I understand that. But I do not want to see any screwing off. No pranks, no horse play, nothing. You do, three hour detention when we get back. Understand?"
Some jocks smirked and I rolled my eyes. They didn't care about a three hour detention for a good chance to pull a prank.
"Off to the bus, now. Go!" Mr. Davidson yelled as he saw the girls headed out of the cafeteria doors.
Aiden and I walked to the bus and sat together, since there was a boys bus and a girls bus. They always seperated the boys and girls for some reason, like if the population of the two got mixed together somebody would end up with a disease.
Some jocks glared at Aiden and I. I had made Aiden promise he wouldn't mention being gay to anybody but me or Lacey. Ever. Some people aren't as understanding about it as Lacey is.
I got out my iPod and handed Aiden on of the earbuds, smiling. He took it and shoved it into his ear, waiting for the blast of music to hit his eardrum.
I was mouthing the words to XOXO by Atreyu and turned to see Aiden doing the same. This caused me to smile a bit. I don't know why, and this probably sounds weird, but I like watching his lips move rhythmically to the music. But he saw me looking at him and stopped, blushing.
"Was I singing out loud?"
I laughed and shook my head, "No."
"Oh. Good. You don't want to hear that."
I laughed a little, but then all of a sudden, the various noises from jocks and their deep voices sniggering as they littered the floor with candy wrappers to geeky kids arguing over who has the better model of graphing calculator.
All the white noise suddenly drew my attention to my surroundings. I was just reminded I was sharing a room with another gay guy...who just happens to be extremely sweet and amazing, yet I can't touch him.
Why can't I touch him? Because he doesn't like me. Just because I'm the only other gay guy in the school that isn't like two years younger and completely hideous doesn't mean he'll ever go for me. Because he won't. How do I know? Trust me. I do.
The rest of the bus ride, some jocks threw some paper at me, which I tried to ignore. After the third crumpled piece went flying past my head, I turned round and glared at them, causing them all to start laughing.
"Ignore them. They're idiots." muttered Aiden, just loud enough for me to hear.
I nodded, though my face was still red from their laughing at me.

Soon enough we arrived there. We all unloaded and Mr. Davidson took his clipboard.
"Partner up with a roommate! One roommate please. Don't give me that look, Gray. Only one." Mr. Davidson said as Rexx Gray (horrible name, I know) looked over to two of his jock buddies, debating which one to room with.

"Stand next to them, far apart from the next group so I don't get mixed up..."
Immediately Aiden and I stood next to each other and when Mr. Davidson wasn't looking, two preppy guys behind us hit us in our heads with their bags full of God-knows-what.
I turned back and glared at them, rubbing the back of my head.
"Okay..." Mr. Davidson wrote down the roommates names and handed us each a key.
Aiden and I walked up and he handed each of us a key, "Room six-fourteen. Don't lose that key, either of you. Go unpack."
We nodded and walked towards the lodging hotel.
Inside decor was rustic, obviously. I hated it. A shoulder-mount of a moose, lots of shoulder-mounted caribou, and some kind of large cat covered the lobby.
"Are you with the school?" asked the receptionist.
Aiden and I both nodded.
"Boys, that way." She pointed past us at an elevator. We got on and pressed the six.
The only noise heard were some jocks laughing at us (more like me) with their low, stupid-sounding laughs.
I rolled my eyes as the elevator door opened and we walked down the hall to room six-fourteen and I used the key to get in.
The room was God-awful hideous. Fake logs covered it, and the two double-beds were covered in ugly, mossy green covers. I usually can't tell an ugly room from a pretty one, no matter what they say about gays. But this room was ugly. What was worst about it was the deer antlers hanging above the nightstand in between the beds.
"I'll unpack for you. Go ahead and ski." I told him.
"You don't have to--"
"No, it's cool. Just. Go ski. I'll unpack for you. Your stuff'll be in those three." I pointed to three drawers of the six-drawer ugly, rustic oak dresser.
He smiled and practically skipped out the door.
I unpacked my own things, and then opened one of his two backpacks. I blushed as I saw it was his boxers and put them in the top drawer as quickly as possible. Touching another guy's boxers without them standing there giving you permission face-to-face isn't exactly something I'm used to. With the exception of folding my dad and my brother's laundry.
I seperated his jeans and his shirts, folding them neatly (since he seemed to just shove them in the backpacks) into the drawers.

After finishing this, I became very bored. I had planned on drinking hot cocoa in the lobby. But Mr. Davidson had given us a false promise. There was no hot cocoa machine in the lobby at all.
I dug out my iPod and stuffed the earbuds in my ears. A sudden blast of music surrounded me in a serene environment. I was free.
Avenged Sevenfold's Unholy Confessions took over my entire mind, numbing my brain with the intense lyrics.
I'll try, she said as he walked away.
Try not to lose you.
Two vibrant hearts could change.
Nothing tears the being more than deception,
Unmasked fear.
I'll be here waiting tested and secure.

Suddenly, I heard a loud knock at the door...over my blaring iPod. I turned off the iPod, set it on the dresser, and walked over.
I turned the knob and there was a man and Derek Bosley holding Aiden up, whose face was scrunched up in pain.
They set him on the bed and Derek left. Okay, it was rude of him to leave, but I had to admit, I was impressed that he helped bring Aiden back here. Sometimes people surprise you. But that's not what I was worried about. I was really worried about Aiden.
I ran over next to him and looked up at the man.
"He just strained his ankle. It's a very major strain and he won't be able to ski anymore. If you wish to ski, I'll stay with him." the man said.
"No, it's fine. I wasn't planning on skiing anyway."
"Well, I'm a paramedic with the resort. All I want you to do is make sure he keeps ice on it and keeps off of it, preferrably up. Okay?"
I nodded and he handed me a bag of ice. I looked at Aiden who was looking up at me. I looked up as the paramedic walked out the door and I looked back down to Aiden.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"I don't know. I hurts."
"Where at?" I asked.
He took his hand and sort of sat up a little to move it down to his ankle. I nodded and put the ice on there, holding it lightly, not wanting to put too much pressure on the injury.
"Jesse?"
"Yeah?" I turned back a bit to look at him, still holding the ice on his ankle.
"Do you think I'm a p*ssy?" he asked.
I rolled my eyes, "You're not a p*ssy. Who told you that, anyway?"
"Derek. He's the one that saw me fall when I crossed my skis. He said I was a p*ssy because I was whining about it."
"You're not."
He smiled a bit and then it was silent again. He pushed his black bangs out of his eyes and started talking again.
"Jesse...I have to tell you something. I think it's almost as big as what I told you before. Probably bigger."
"What is it?"

2 Pics of Jesse!
Pic of Aiden
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. His eyes opened again, but he avertd his gaze to the ceiling, careful not to look at me.
"I think..."
I didn't urge him to continue, but stayed silent, just waiting for him to say what he needed to on his own terms.
"I think that I might..."
I waited some more.
"I think I have feelings for you."
He sat up a little and looked at me. I had let go of the bag of ice in shock. I hadn't expected that.
"But you don't feel the same way..."
He looked a little disappointed, but embarrassed at the same time. He couldn't get away from the situation despite his ankle.
"Aiden..."
"What?" he snapped.
"You're stupid." I leaned in and kissed his lips. I felt my face get hot.
We parted and I saw his face was red too.
"What do we do now?" asked Aiden.
"I really don't know." I admitted.
"F*CK!"
"What, what is it?"
"I-I just twisted that leg..."
"Hold on..." I grabbed my pillow and the ice pack and lay down, his feet next to my head. I took my arm and moved until I could get the ice pack to his ankle. I held it gently, and gradually fell into sleep.
