Draco&Rebecca_Part 4_Dreams

That Christmas was the best one you had ever had. That night Draco slept with you again, but you couldn't go to sleep. You kept thinking about all the dreams you had had about traveling the world and not being tied up to a man. I guess falling in love changes a lot of things you thought.
"Becca I know your not sleeping so tell me what's wrong?" Draco said sleepily.
"I'm fine I just can't sleep" you lied.
"Stop lying I know you too well to know your just laying there" he said.
"I'm just thinking about my mum and if she's ok" you lied again.
"Babe she's fine, she's in good hands now go to sleep" he said.
"Ok night" you said and finally fell asleep.
The next morning you heard giggling and awwing. You woke up to find your mum and Narcissa in your room then you noticed Draco was holding you around your waist and you were holding on to his arm.
"Oh my word, what are you two doing here?" you yelped and woke Draco.
"Well we came to say Merry Christmas and that we'll be home for the rest of break" your mum said.
"But we notice you guys have enjoyed our absence well" Narcissa smiled. Just then they both noticed your engagement ring.
"Rebecca are you wearing an engagement ring?" you mum asked as you and Draco put on your robes.
"Why yes Ms. Adams, your daughter has accepted my proposal" Draco grinned.
"Why that's so wonderful!" Narcissa said.
"My little girl is finally going to become a woman" your mum shrieked.
"Well you two go ahead and get changed and join us for breakfast at 11" Narcissa said and both your mums walked outside.
"That was awkward" you said.
"Sort of" Draco said.
"Well I'm getting in the shower" you said and went into your bathroom. As you showered you thought about how you had told your mum you didn't want to get married until you were 27, yet now you were 17 and engaged. After you go out Draco got in and you went to get ready. You put on an emerald green cocktail dress with black heels and a black diamond necklace. You did your make-up, curled your hair, and put on perfume. By the time you got out of the bathroom Draco was already finished and waiting for you.
"Bloody hell woman you take so long to get reayd, but you do look amazing" he smiled and twirled you around and kissed you.
"Come on let's go it's almost 11" you said and you both walked downstairs.
Lucius had just arrived because he was sitting there with Narcissa and your mum. You guessed they must've told him because he got up and congratulated both you and Draco. You all sat down to eat and your mums started talking about the wedding and the preparations, the dresses, florists, invitations, guests, and yada yada yada yada. In the end you all settled that would get married two weeks after school ended. You would spend the rest of break getting everything you could ready and then use the two weeks to finish anything up. Draco had "business" to attend to with Lucius so you wouldn't be seeing much of him. After breakfast you were dragged to Diagon Alley by Narcissa and your mum to start. Draco and Lucius went somewhere, they didn't say where.

Your next few days were packed. You had picked out a beautiful dress, bridesmaids dresses and a cake. The wedding would take place at the chapel in your house. The color themes were white and creme. Since Draco didn't care who you invited you decided you would invite people from slytherin all the way to Gryffindor. Your maid of honor would be Katherine. On Draco's free day you both picked out the rings and he went to get his tux. That day you both spent together as much as you could. Thankfully school started in 2 days so you both would see eachother more.
"Mum I'm so worn out" you said as you layed down on your mum's bed.
"Well dear planning the perfect wedding means looking over everything" she said as she stroked your hair.
"Mum, whose walking me down the aisle?" you asked.
"I haven't thought about that" she said.
"I think I'm the only girl who wont have her father at her wedding" you said.
"Woman dear" she said.
"Don't change the subject mum" you said.
"Sorry dear" she said.
"Can you please tell me about my dad?" you asked.
"I guess I can tell you a bit more about him" she said. "Your father was a great man Rebecca, cruel but great. Not many people liked him, then he did a cruel thing dear and no one saw him again after that night."
"Who was he?" you asked.
"That's something I cannot tell you Rebecca" she said.
"But why? What was so bad that he had to dissappear and leave us here?" you yelled.
"He did it for our own good" she said.
"What good? He never cared about us if he left just like that" you said.
"If he wouldn't ahve left, we would have been killed, no one knows he is your father and it must stay that way" she said.
"Well its bloody stupid" you said. "Goodnight mother!"
You stormed out of her room and went to your room and cried. You ended falling asleep and woke up the next morning thinking *Finally tomorrow I get to see Draco* Just then you remembered you hadn't talked to Draco at all, he ahdn't owled you or called you. He hand't even dropped by. What was so important he didn't have time for you?
