Old Friends, New Love (Seto Kaiba) 1

Aww we are so close
What nightmares? (me:You'll just have to wait and see)
You stood outside breathing in the clean air and thinking to yourself. Well here I am, back in my home town, back where it happened, where that accident took place and where my life was completly changed. You sighed sadly as you remembered that day. ~Flashback~ You were sitting on the bench where your parents had told you to stay while they fetched you your birthday present, you were waiting but getting a little impatient because they had already taken about 30 minutes and there was no sign of them. You got bored and was about to go and search for them but a loud bang and a huge cloud of smoke came from a nearby building caused you to dart over to look what was going on; being curious. You spotted a nearby ambulance, paramedics were taking two people on stretchers into it. Once again curiosity took over and you found yourself standing next to the paramedics, you could see the two bodies of your parents your father was unconscious but you saw that your mother was still only just awake. You began to see everything with a blur as the tears streamed from your wide and shocked blue eyes. You could feel a hand on your arm and you looked down to see your mother holding onto you she was being pulled into the ambulance so you got inside with her. A young doctor grabbed hold of your hand reassuringly. "Its ok we will do everything we can Violet." You didn't know how the person knew you but you didn't care. You looked at your mother and saw her breathing slow and her grip was loosening on your arm. "W-We...will...always...be...there...Violet...my...darling." Your mother told you in gasps. This was the last thing you heard from your mother and your father never awoke. Both of them died in the hospital not long after you had reached it. Just before they passed away you saw a small box that was wrapped up fall to the floor from your fathers pocket and on the label it read 'Happy Birthday Violet, have a great one. Lots of love mummy and daddy.' ~End flashback~ You wipe away a tear on your cheek and take out a heart shaped locket from around your neck and open it, inside was two pictures one of your mother who had blue eyes and blonde hair and another of your father who had light brown hair and hazel eyes. You sighed and closed it again. I miss you so much, why did you have to leave me? After a minute or two you snap out of your thoughts and laugh to yourself. Ah dear, what am I doing? What happened to that morning jog of mine? You ask yourself mentally then start to run as you felt a strong wind that made you shiver, you hated the cold. (FF a hour) You stand in the park with your hands on your knees to catch your breath, from the corner of your eye you can see a shadow behind you. Snapping around you become ready to fight off the person if you need too. "Violet! Heya hun!" Without you realising what is going on the person pulls you into a tight embrace. "Uh...Must breath...Now!" The person let go of you and you look at her with a huge smile on your face. "Long time no see eh Violet!" She said as she nudged your arm. "Yea it has Soph, anyway what are you doing at the park?" You ask curiously. "Well I was at your house until Uncle Matt decided to try and tickle me so I legged it and found you..." You raised your eye brows and she sighed. "Alright so Uncle Matt told me you were here!" You smiled at her comment, your cousin always made you smile even at some of the simplest of things. "Come onn Vi I don't really want to stand in the park all day, anyway who knows what that silly dad of yours has burnt this time!" She told you with a smirk. "Go on Soph what's he cooking? And more to the point why?" She laughed at this and smiled. "You'll see when we get back." You give her a what-are-you-playing-at look, but followed her back to your house.

You reach your house and walk in through the open back door to find your father with his back turned to you, he looked like he was wearing an apron but you were not quite sure so both you and sophie crepted up behind him and you each looked over one of his shoulders and saw what he was doing. "Hey dad! Oooo, looks like your making the Stuarts special curry, am I right?" Both you and sophie laugh as your dad jumps and notices you. "Yes Vi I am making the Stuarts special curry." "But dad you only make that when we have guests other than Soph or auntie Julie!" You see a small smile creep onto your fathers face. "We have got other vistors coming, but you will have to wait and see who it is." Both your dad and Sophie looked at eachother with smile on their faces, without warning your dad pushed the two of you into the living room and closed the kitchen door behind you. You lay down on the sofa and looked at Sophie carefully trying to see what she was up to, she smirked at you, which confused you even more. What the heck are they playing at? You asked yourself. You were snapped out of your thoughts by Sophie speaking to you. "Violet you will not work it out but believe me you will like this surprise." She told you with a glint in her brown eyes which made you wonder even more about this surprise. You sigh and switch on the television and start to watch the news, seems there was nothing else on. You suddenly felt a strange feeling as a boy about the same age as you came onto the screen, turned the television up slightly and listend carefully to the interview. "Mr Kaiba, we have heard that you have had some trouble with other companies trying to buy Kaiba Corp, is this true? What do you intend to do about it?" The reporter spoke and passed the microphone to the boy next to her who you gathered was that Kaiba guy, he seemed so familar to you. "Yes this is true and we have been working extra hard to try and stop these other loser companies." You noticed his cold blue eyes that looked stressed and annoyed but as you looked at him something began to spark inside of you, it was such a familar sensation. In the backround you saw a boy that looked about 11 or 12 with long raven black hair and he also looked very familar to you. As you sat there and listened you were trying figure out what was familar about them, but you were sadly snapped out of your thoughts by a knock at the door. Sophie jumped up and dived towards the door before you had even turned. "Don't worry Violet, I got it hun!" You looked at her confused, this confusion soon turned to shock and realisation as you saw who was happily standing by the door...
