Recap: You and Naruto are in a fight with a Siren and Naruto's under the spell!!!

The sand ground into your eyes like knives. *What can I do??!* you thought painfully. The Siren's singing kept cutting into your thoughts and was drawing closer. "OKay...ehhn..." you grimaced blindly making a hand symbol. Then, desprately you grabbed at Naruto's chakra mentally and infused a barrier just before the Siren made a move at you. The barrier was a pure orange. You weren't using your chakra at all. You barely had any. "Uggh..." you cried rubbing your eyes. Even through the barrier the Siren's scream found it's way in. Stubbles of sand rolled down your cheeks through tears. "Dammit!" you cursed angrily. You shoved Naruto off you and looked at the Siren. Her arm was bleeding and her face was a mask of blood. Glimpses of the kunai ran through her hair. "Naruto..." you said shaking him. His dull, blue eyes made no movement. You tugged at his black shirt. "Naruto! Wake up!" you said shaking him more vigerously. His head bobbed back and forth silently. You dropped him uselessly and ran your head for ideas. "Her face is obviously her weak spot..." you said slowly. The Siren shrieked again and struck at the barrier but only bounced back. Suddenly you had an idea. It would be risky but it could work. You slowly stepped from the barrier and kept Naruto safely inside. The Siren jerked her head in your direction and gave a long, reproachful hiss. You stood perfectly still. She needed to get closer. In your trembling hand was a kunai from Naruto's pouch. With a lightening quick movement the Siren lunged at you and pinned you to the ground in a flurry. "Uhn!" you choked on a mouthful of sand as her face stood inches from your nose. Her blood dribbled off her chin onto your cheek. Then with a long stretching of muscles her mouth opened to it's full extent ready lop off your head. Her odourless breath breathed on your face. "NOW!!!" you shrieked and with your free arm you thrust the kunai straight down her throat and ripped it out of the nape of her neck. She let out an earsplitting scream. She fell backwards and began writhe in pain. A large pool of blue blood soaked into the sand around her. With a few staggering coughs she fell still. It was silent. You breathed heavily as you let tears of pain wash out the sand. You felt an energy release form your hands and the barrier dissintegrated. "I...actually did it..." you wheezed. You turned to Naruto who seemed to be in a daze. With a sudden realization you walked/limped/jogged over to the Siren's bloody corpse. You looked at her neck in hopes of finding the amulet...and..."...IT'S NOT HERE!!!!" you shouted angrily. "All that work and we only escape with our lives?!" you kicked the sand. "And we still have to kill 4 MORE of these hellish things!!!?" you aksed yourself. You ran your hand through your hair. "Uggghhh....Naruto this is too much." you stated in a whiney tone. Naruto didn't answer. You sat down beside him and stared into the blurry horizon. "Wuh..what happened...?" Naruto's lazy voice said hoarsely. "You fell under the spell, moron." you said huffily. "Shit, I did? Sorry..." was all he could come up with. There was a silence when Naruto asked: "Was the amulet there?" "No." you replied curtly. You tried to stand up but your legs shook with the effort. "I'm too tired...to walk." you said wiping your eyes. Naruto sighed. "You must've used a lot of my chakra, Narume...because I barely have enough to do the 'benshin no jutsu'" he said. "I didn't know how much I would need for the sitituation." you murmured. The sun was still ablaze and seemed as if you guys weren't going to go anywhere. "Naruto...is this desert going to be our graves?" you whimpered.
