Recap: You left Hogwarts permanently, and Draco as well, too...But he doesn't give up. Anyway, let's continue on with the story...
You soared away, and knew that you were making the biggest mistake of your life. The truth was you weren't giving up on Draco, the school, not even being good. You were giving up on yourself. Something that you had never done before. You hoped something pleasant would come after this. Maybe Draco would come after you and influence you to stay with him. But you didn't look back. You kept zooming for hours on end until you reached your hometown in Canada. Yup, you guessed it: #1407 Lansington Avenue. The 100 something year-old brick house, and white porch. There was a yellow tape around it with the police's mark. You moved into the house anyway.
Gliding up the stairs, you entered the once familiar kitchen. The stove was there with the wooden chair, and table. But the one thing you remembered the most; was the traumatizing fights. The ones that left you quivering in trepidation, and odium. You took a step more so that you were in the middle of the kitchen. Without prior notice, you felt an exceedingly eminent aura surrounding you. The aura of Lucius Malfoy. This was the spot. The spot in which he destroyed your entire family. Your breath became unsteady, and you ran out of the house. You were definitely never going to see that dreadful house again.
Rounding the street, your eyes smashed directly into the park. The one where there was an open field where sports could be played, Frisbees could be thrown, and picnics could be enjoyed. Draco had kissed you there. You didn't know whether to stand still, taking in the cold chilly air, or to run into the park, searching for the tree in which you and him carved your names. You blinked a few times as if this wasn't existent. You couldn't handle the pressure, not now, not here, and not without Draco. You checked your watch to see what time it was and remembered Sam's Christmas party. It was in a few minutes!
Snatching your broom, you sped off on it, and went to her house. Your luggage was strapped onto the back with your presents in it as well. You went to such an immense speed, you wondered if you would miss the house or not. You looked down, and saw a vast group of townhouses all squished together. You recognized Sam's almost immediately, and zoomed in towards her house. You minimized your broom, and luggage with your wand to fit into your pocket; but you were sure to take the gifts out. Your rang the doorbell and Sam; the tall, althletic girl with glasses greeted you.
"Merry Christmas, Samantha," you squealed pleasantly.
"Hi, Tawny," she gave you an embrace. "Long time no see."
"Yes, it's a long time I haven't seen those elbows," you pointed at her sweater.
"Yes, I miss my elbows," she joked. (Me: Sorry, ppl. It's an inside joke.)
"Cool," you said simply as you went inside. Once in the living room, you encountered Anthony, Stephen, Martin, Marco, Eva, Melissa, Joy, Lenah, Vanessa, Giulia, and Tevin. They all greeted you warmly with hugs, and laughter, like always.
"Hey Anthony," you acknowledged him. "Good to see you."
"Yeah, you too," he said politely. "So...where have you been for half the year?"
"Joy, Lenah, Melissa, and I are all attending another school."
"Why?" he was confounded. "You could've just stayed here."
"This is a school that was made for us. I can't exactly explain it to you. You would never believe me," you smirked to yourself.
He shrugged it off as you found someone else to see.
"Vanessa!" you yelped. You both gave each other a big hug.
Vanessa was a tall, pretty, and intelligent girl with tanned skin. You knew her as one of your good friends. She and you were in almost every single class.
"Where have you been?" her voice was slightly high-pitched because of her excitement. "I tried to email you, I tryed to send you a letter-"
"V, relax!" you said for the billionth time in this series. "We chatted online once a month, remember?"
"It's still not the same," she whined like a foul child.
"Don't worry. I'm here now. We can party up a storm!" you chortled.
She suddenly became distracted over a beseiged Lenah. You walked around the living room, trying to find another recognizable face. Luckily, there was no P.J. or Levi to infuriate you. Sadly, there was no Joey. Or that silent kid with the hazel eyes who always stared at you.
"Tawny!" another animated voice greeted. It was Giulia's.
Giulia was a lovable, and intelligent friend. She was the one who can make a rotten dance party turn around with her moves. She had brown hair, brown eyes, and a gregarious smile.
"Jools!" you gave her a big hug. "How are ya?"
"I'm great. You see, I kept my promise. You know I stayed in contact."
"Yeah, don't worry. An email a day is enough catching up."
"Yeah, did you hear?" she was about to spill out something juicy.
"What?" you leaned closer to her.
"Mrs. DiBella had a son!" she squealed.
"A boy!" you shared the same emotion. "Really? What's his name?"
"Aidan!" you and her just kept shrieking stupidly.
"Can you please stop," another memorable voice spoke.
It was Marco. Marco was a short, thin, cute guy with hillarious jokes that you and Lenah giggled at all the time. He always had something to say for every occasion, and brightened up the room when he walked in.
"Marco!" you screamed and just about killed him when you hugged him.
"Um, hi Tawny?" he said awkwardly. His face was turning bright red.
"Oh, sorry about that," you started blushing somewhat from discomfiture. "Did you hap-"
"You don't wear glasses anymore," he peered grippingly at your face.
"My vision is getting better," you answered plainly. "So, has Mrs. Ritchie been acting odd lately?"
He raised an eyebrow at you, "I guess. She's always wearing a hat now. I don't know why..." (Me: That's because Tawny made her afro enormous in story #3!)
"Hiya, Tawny!" Melissa, Joy, and Lenah welcomed all at the same time.
"Merry Christmas!" you said warmly.
"Yes, and what a fine Christmas it is," Melissa said stupidly. "Anyways, I got you a great present. No one else will have it for you."
"Okay..." you told them. "Now if you will excuse me, I'm going to go bother Tevin, and Martin."
"You go do that," Joy smiled.
"Want any eggnog?" Lenah asked.
"No, thank you. I hate that stuff!" You walked over to a group of people dancing.
You joined in with them, and Giulia came in to. When a Shakira song came upon the record, you and Giulia were the centre of attention. (Me: Me and Jools dance like her! Hehe!) But that fun all stopped when the anticipation of the opening of presents arrived...
You had recieved many wonderful gifts. Gift cards from both Sam, and Tevin; the new Shakira C.D. from Joy, a really cool book from Lenah, racing car playstation games from Anthony, Marco, and Martin; accessories from Giulia, clothes from Eva, and finally *takes a deep breath*, turtlenecks in an assortment of colours from Stephen, Vanessa, and Melissa.
"Oh, shoot!" snapped Melissa. "I thought I was the only one getting you a turtleneck!"
"Well, you thought wrong!' you told her. "Thanks for the gifts, you guys."
After everyone received their much obliged gifts, the party got way out of control...
"Hey, guess what I found!" Tevin pointed to a 24-pack of beer in his hands.
"You're kidding, right?" you eyed the usually amusing, dark-haired Tevin.
"Of course I am," he was about to put it away when Eva stepped in.
"Who dares me to chug a bottle of this?" she asked daringly, yet kind of recklessly.
"I do!" Martin swung his hand in the air.
"I do, too," Anthony began walking towards her. You pulled him back.
"I cannot believe that someone as intelligent as you is encouraging this!" You said, slightly appalled.
Another group of kids were supporting her decision.
"You should go ask them why they're doing it, then," he told you.
You sighed, "Giulia! Come here!"
"What?" she asked. You yanked her arm so she could see a full view of what was going on.
"Who is drinking beer over-. Oh my God, is that Eva?!"
"Yes, it is. And if you don't do something right now, your best friend is going to wish she was dead in the morning." You requested.
"Stop doing that, child!" You heard Joy yelling at Eva as she was drinking the beer.
"CHUG! CHUG! CHUG! CHUG!" the crowd persisted as every drop went down her throat. When she was done, the large group applauded in astonishment.
"Oh man, that tasted horrible!" She told Giulia, Joy, and Melissa who were all concerned about her safety and well-being.
"I hope you never do that again. You are so lucky that my parents aren't home!" said Sam, who looked feverishly.
"It's okay. I hated that stuff anyway!" Eva said casually.
"Honestly? I love that stuff!" Lenah jumped in the conversation.
"Lenah, pray that you don't become a raging alcoholic when you're an adult," Eva teased. You just rolled your eyes.
When the party was over, you, Anthony, Joy, and Tevin all graciously stayed behind to clean up the clutter that the celebration had caused. You were all sweeping away, vaccuuming, and putting things back in their appropriate order. It was an excellent period of time to end the bash because everyone was beginning to get a little fiesty, and cliques could've soon been quarreling. Ceasing the cleaning, Sam thanked you all, and you were on your way back to wherever the heck you came from.
"Hey, Tawny!" Joy called when she saw you walking down the sidewalk.
"Yes?" you zipped around.
She scurried over to you, "Where are you going to stay?"
You looked up into the pink, and yellow sky, "I don't know..."
"You can come stay with Ced-"
"No, I'd rather not intrude," you declined the offer.
"It's Christmas! You should be having a good time with your family, your friends...Draco..."
"I really don't want to see him, Joy." You looked disgracefully at the floor.
"Why?"
"I don't know. I just want him to hate him so we can forget about each other. We always end up crying after we have a fight."
Joy partly smiled.
"Do you think this is funny?" you were a little tense.
"No, it's so cute, though...You and him love each other, yet you both don't want to hurt each other; and by doing the same thing to yourselves, you're causing your own self pain."
"...Come again?" You were absolutely perplexed.
"Stop trying to protect each other from yourselves! Isn't it obvious? Once you start letting him love you, he won't make you feel the way you do anymore."
"Okay, but, I kind of blew it..." you bit your lip.
She smacked herself on the head, "Tawny Granger. You have to be the most idiotic, dense, protective, and confusing person I have ever met. What the hell is wrong with you?"
"I don't exactly know, Joy."
She laughed a bit, "Okay. Take care of yourself, Tawny. Go find somewhere to stay! You're welcome at Cedric's house, ya know! Get your man back!"
"OK. I'll see what I can do," you lied. "Bye!"
"Bye!" She scuttled off to find a place where she could apparate to Cedric's house, whilst you observed the area to find a place that you could pull out your broom.
Once you found a place in which you could be secretive, you tugged your broom out of your tight pocket, and enlarged it. You hopped on it nervously, not exactly knowing why. You just knew it would take you to a new, and gloomy place...

~Draco's P.O.V~
After Tawny left, my legs buckled and I fell to the floor. I fell into a strong depression as I cried harder and harder. How could she just leave me? I was in so much pain. Was it that complex to let me love her? I guess it was for her, considering her past. But, she needed to know that I was not one of those people. I was someone who would love her, take care of her, and cherish her. The love of my life was leaving this intricate relationship out of fear. She didn't need to dread this. I would stay by her side forever. But then someone came in.
"Malfoy!" It was Goyle. "What the heck are you doing on the floor?!" He helped me up as I wiped my tears away.
"Oh," I sniffed. "Hi Goyle."
"I heard you sobbing from my room," Goyle looked at me with vexed eyes. "Is there something wrong?"
"Tawny left me...again," My eyes narrowed into slits from anger. Goyle was the only person, other than Blaise, in Slytherin that I trusted.
He sighed deeply, "What happened now?"
"Me and Tawny were fighting and she said she wanted some freedom-"
"No duh! It's because you're so possesive of her!" Goyle concurred with Tawny.
"Can I finish?" I asked rather rudely.
"Yeah, keep going," he nodded. We both sat down on the bed.
"Well, we were talking and she told me that she was leaving Hogwarts because she was unhappy."
"Tawny's leaving Hogwarts?!" Goyle exclaimed. He jumped up from the bed, and scurried to the window. "Is she still here?"
"No, she just left."
"You have to stop her!" He said frantically.
"Why do you care so much, Goyle? She isn't your girlfriend," I spat.
"Why do you care so little? Go after her!" Goyle cried out.
"She doesn't love me anymore," In complete denial, I rolled on my side on the bed.
"Yes she does! If you don't go after her, you will lose her forever!" Goyle insisted.
"Goyle, have you ever had someone you loved so much that they made you hate them as much all at the same time?!" I began screaming at him. "Someone who breaks your heart over and over again?! Someone who you think could be cheating behind your back when you least expect it?!"
"Yeah..." he was very quiet.
"Who was she?" I calmed down bit by bit. I prepared myself for a long story.
Goyle told me of when he was a young child; who fell in love with a beautiful red-head who seemed too innocent to be true. She and him had puppy love, and he made something special for her to show his appreciation. He went to her house, but her mother said she was at the park. When he went over to the park to see if she was there, he caught her and another boy kissing.
"So, what happened next?" I interrupted.
"She looked at me and laughed. She saw what I made for her, and without a thought, she broke it into pieces," Goyle included. "After that day, it was very hard for me to date again."
"But did you date again?" I wondered.
"Yeah," he had a solemn reply. "It was a blind date, and it turned pretty sour when the girl saw me..."
"That should've never happened," I comforted. "I used to be really shallow myself. When I was dating someone, I always glanced at other girls. But never with Tawny. I wouldn't dare give any girl the eye. Not just because she would punch me,-"
Goyle bellowed.
"But because those girls would never mean anything to me."
"Does Tawny do anything like that to you?" Goyle questioned.
"I've seen her looking at other guys, but its just a look...Sometimes, she flirts a bit, but not as much as she used to."
"Go after her." Goyle spoke.
"I don't think I could."
"You and her are protecting each other from yourselves. I think Tawny's fearful, too."
"Wow, dating advice from Gregory Goyle," I smirked. "Never thought I'd get that."
"Just do it. You'll only have one first love, and besides, Tawny isn't going to safe out there in that bad world. She'll be safe with you..."
I patted Goyle's back, "...You're right. Gregory, my good man, you've convinced me. I'll leave right now."
"Cool!" He jumped oddly in exhilaration. "But, how are you going to find her?"
"I think I have a pretty good idea of where she is..."
~End Of Draco's P.O.V.~
Let's see the two lovers cross paths again...
~Back To Your P.O.V.~
You sat in front of the tombstones of your mother and your stepfather. By coincidence, you had encountered them. The sky was beginning to turn grey with light drops of rain falling from the sky. The cemetery air was misty, but you didn't care; for it was now time to face the music...
"Hi mom, hi Joshua," you sadly greeted your former guardians. "How are you? Good in heaven, I hope." You appeared senile talking to the tombstones like that.
"I hope you know that when you died, I was left in the worst situation of my whole life," Your bottom lip trembled. "But it wasn't your fault...Yeah, you had fights, and made me say those famous words 'I hate you', but I never meant them. Now look." You pointed at the tombstones. "You're dead..." You still spoke.
"Mom, I'm sorry I was so mean to you. I was always grateful to you, and even though I never demonstrated it, I was...And that buffoon, Lucius Malfoy; he had to kill you, didn't he." Your eyes were glowing red in fury.
"He was the one who made me feel so bad. Him, and Lord Voldemort...They made me afraid to come close to people because I knew they would get hurt..." Tears began coming out of your eyes. "And Draco...he's trying s-s-s-o hard, and he's so good to me; and I end up screwing things up for him. He loves me, and I love him too. I don't understand why I f-f-feel so unsure about our relationship. Then when I try to protect him from evil...from me, I end up k-k-killing him a little more. I can't take it anymore...I was actually committing suicide, mom. That's how friggen d-d-depressed I was! My head and my heart are contrasting each other. They don't know what they want!"
"But I do," a loving voice said. You stood up, turned around and saw Draco.
He wiped your hot tears away.
"Oh, Draco. Didn't see you there. How did you know where to find me?" You asked.
"I knew you'd be somewhere near the park, and I saw you talking to those tombstones." He pointed downward to the graves of your previous family. "Only someone as crazy as you would do that."
You laughed a bit, but then had a more stern face, "Why are you here, anyway?"
"Because I'm your best friend and I care for you. Come back to Hogwarts with me."
"What?! No! I am not going back with you," you went swiftly past him, but he grabbed you, and gripped your arms securely.
"Tawny, stop! You're making a big mistake. Do you want to be happy or not?" He told you firmly.
"What gives you the impression that coming back with you will make me happier?" You said smugly.
"Because I heard every single word you said, every inch of it," he answered.
You crept back slowly, "What? You heard me? How long have you been here?!" You were very outraged.
"Calm down, I came here when you were talking about my father, and how you try to stay away from people or else they'll get hurt..."
"That's rubbish," you fibbed. "I-I knew you were there. I w-" You prevented yourself from sounding like a total fool.
You began speeding out of the cemetery, but it was too foggy so you couldn't see where you were going. Draco hauled you back towards him. He held you in his arms as you tried to wriggle free.
"Lemme go!" You kicked and screamed.
"Just tell me why you're so afraid..."
"Because you're going to die, Draco! Ok?!" You were sincere as tears came down your cheeks.
"What?" he looked at you oddly. "That's nonsense. Nothing is going to-"
"Yes, it is!" you disputed. "Every time I'm happy, someone I love dies...all because of Lord Voldemort. What if the same thing happens to you?"
"...It won't..." he looked at you with strong grey eyes. "I promise you that nothing like that will ever happen to me. I will never leave you. Just let me love you, and I know you'll be happy." He held you in his arms. You tried to resist, but failed in the attempt.
"You're an annoying asshole, you know that," you told him.
"Just give me a hug, that's it," he told you. You did just so you could be a little trouble-maker.
Just before you could sprint to the exit, Draco's words barged in:
"Here. I know what you want."
You turned around and saw a small gift wrapped in a vibrant red colour.
You frowned, "I don't want any expensive-"
"It's not what you think it is; just open it," he commanded.
You sighed unwillingly, and unwrapped the present little by little. Inside, was a normal-sized black leather book. With great confusion, you scanned through its foreign pages.
"Oh my God," you finally recognized it. "Inside this book are all the letters we sent to each other when we were kids...That is so romantic."
He smirked, "I knew you'd like it."
"How long did it take you to do this?" You were palpably impressed.
"Uh...about a month. I did it when we were 10, I think...There's something still in your gift."
Looking down, you saw a photograph of two, young indistinctly familiar children. One with platinum blonde hair, and one with the same colour as yours. They were both indulging in ice cream.
You giggled, "This is us...Look at our messy faces. Do you remember when my mom freaked out because I made a big mess?"
"Yeah," he replied, also grinning. "And that time that-"
"What's this on the back?" you accidentally interrupted. Your curiosity level peaked.
There was an inscription on it:
"Dear Tawny," you began reading. "I really miss you and I wish that we could see each other some time soon, but my father won't let us be together. I just wanted to let you know that I care for you and I will always remember you." You paused a little. "No one will ever mean as much to me as you do. No matter what, I will always love you..."
"Do you like it?" he asked merrily.
You just jumped into his arms, "I love you...*sniffs* I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"
"Shhh, it's okay, angel. We're back together now. I meant every word I said. I love you, Tawny Granger. I will never leave you." He said firmly.
"I know you won't," you replied bluntly. "And neither will I." You walked hand in hand with him as you walked out of the cemetery, and onto the cold streets.
Lansington Avenue did not seem like a burden when you were with Draco. You looked onto your old home, and pointed at it.
He understood perfectly, "Is this where you grew up?"
"Yeah...It was hard visiting this house again, but it was something from the past," you raised your hopes. "But you're the one thing from my past that I want to say."
He looked down at you, and kissed you. For the first time, in a long time, he slipped his tongue in, and you shuddered. After awhile, he broke away; leaving you breathless. You smiled to yourself.
"What?" Draco asked. "Did you enjoy that kiss?"
"I did, but I'm thinking about something Voldemort-" you said as he winced. "He told me at the end of June 'I don't want you to get caught up with this boy and lose sight of what's really important!', and I remember telling myself that I wouldn't. But I have. I have fallen in love with the Draco Malfoy and have failed to do my task. Kill Harry Potter."
"That was your task?" he asked. "I would've done it for you easily!"
"I don't think you'd be able to do that," you doubted. You kissed him. "You're too much of a nice guy to do that."
"You couldn't either," he shot back. "That's why I call you angel. Because you couldn't hurt a fly. You're the only girl who makes my heart jump out of my body every time I see you."
You blushed madly.
He continued, "I remember that night of the false engagement when I said that you always tell me that you're so lucky to have found me...when it's the other way around...I was in my room one night thinking, You chose me. The most beautiful, and kind woman in the world chose me. You could've chosen anyone you wanted. But instead, you chose me. I'm never going to give you up...I love you, Tawny. I always will. Don't you ever forget that."
"Wow, you memorized it?" this sparked your interest. "I didn't memorize mine all that much. It didn't matter to me because it was all lies," you told him.
"Not anymore," he winked.
"You're right, I am lucky." You smiled. You changed the topic. "I think I left Mr. Snuggles at the cemetery."
"You wanna go back and get it?"
"Nope. Leave it as a gift to my mom."
"So...what do we do now?"
"Hmm...how about we go to the park where we had our first kiss?"
"Likewise." He nodded. You ambled, more like scurried down the road towards the park.
Once you got there, you stopped at the familiar willow tree with the words D.M. + T.R. OUR LIFE, OUR LOVE, OUR TREE carved deep into its everlasting bark. (Me: It's T.R. cuz it used to be Ribeiro)
"Ahh, we meet again," Draco joked. You laughed and looked deeply into his eyes, and he did the same.
This went on for quite a few minutes before you spoke.
"Remember when we were in Divination and Joy told me my tea leaves said that I would fall in love again and that this time it would be stronger?" your face was close to his.
He smiled, then moped, "But it also said that it would be with another person..."
"It wasn't about Harry," you declared. "It was about you. You are another person; you've changed. You have shown the good person in you. You are different again."
"I've never thought about it that way..." he contemplated.
"Open your mind, and you'll see a rainbow," you said languorously. "Speaking of rainbows, I still have those boxers of yours."
He held you in his arms as your back faced his chest, and his chin rested on your head, "Keep them as a souvenir when you're lonely."
"Really? I thought you wanted them back."
He snorted, "As if I would keep that rubbish."
"That's my little cutie," you taunted.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you, darling, a few months ago, I pulled out of that stupid Death Eater stuff."
"Good for you! Get as far away from them as possible. There's only one downside."
"And that would be?"
"They'll get you back. Either injure or murder you or someone you love."
"I would choose you over me," he guaranteed.
"No, Draco. Don't do that," you said steadily. "If you do, they will kill everyone else."
"And you would want yourself dead?!" Draco asked sceptically.
"No, but you they're backstabbers and they could assassinate both of us. Promise me if we ever get into a situation like that, you'll chose the good of the world over me."
"I can't do that. I love you too much. Screw the world if it becomes evil. If we have to, we'll move to Atlantis."
"That's a myth," you told him.
"Actually, its crawling with witches and wizards."
"Cool," you nodded. "...Guess what?"
"What?"
"My Pygmy Puff Charlie was killed by Crookshanks."
Draco didn't seem to care, but was deep in thought, "I used to cry at night when you were with Harry."
You looked disgracefully at the floor, "I'm sorry..."
"It's not your fault. Good thing you're back in my arms because I missed you." He gave you a tight squeeze.
"Ok," you gasped. "Too much love!!!" He laughed and you both took one last look at the tree.
"Drakes?" you began.
"Uh-huh?"
"You forgot something."
"What?" he looked on the floor around him.
"No, not that! My kiss."
"You want a kiss, do you?" he swung you around so he was hovering over you as you were suspended in mid-air; only his hands on your neck and waist were supporting you.
He plunged in to give you a lustful kiss. You moaned as he was sending shivers throughout your entire body. He lifted you back up.
"How was that? Nice?" he asked.
You panted, "Breath-taking...in a slightly negative way."
"I'll just take that as a suffocating yes..."
Back at school after the parents left; on December 29...
Ok peeps. Let me sum it up for you. Draco and you apparated back to Hogwarts, (Me: I know you can't do it, but they were able to on the same day that the parents were leaving) and spent the half of that week, kissing, cuddling (NO SEX), and just plain having fun. It was a great break for you, and you were pretty much relaxed...until this fateful day...
"Okay, Harry," you told him. "Your move." You were playing a chess game in the quiet and deserted Gryffindor common room with Harry; and so far, he was winning.
"Checkmate," he decreed with a playful smirk dancing on his lips.
"Ugh! I suck at this game! You're pretty good though," you smiled.
"Thanks, but Ron's the real genious at this stuff."
"He's really that good?"
"Oh yeah. He beats everyone left, right, and center."
"I bet he could even beat my muggle friend, Anthony."
"You want to play anything else?" Harry questioned.
"No, it's getting late. I think I might go to bed." You stood up, but Harry's voice stopped you:
"Where were you on Christmas Day?" he asked. You slowly faced him. "Not to seem rude, but I couldn't find you anywhere."
"I was doing business." You said simply.
"Death Eater business?" his voice juddered.
"No. I was re-visiting my past," you answered. "Good night, Harry." You walked over to him, and kissed the top of his head.
His face was the colour of ruby red and he smiled an awkward beam. You scuttled upstairs until a high voice alarmed you.
"Tawny? Harry Potter? I have a letter for you both from Dumbledore," she told you both. A short 1st year with freckles and pigtails carried two letters within her small hands.
You came back downstairs, and thanked her. You and Harry carelessly ripped open the letters. All the letter had said was that Dumbledore had to speak with them urgently. You eyed each other timidly.
Getting out of the portrait hole, you both hurried to Dumbledore's office. After several minutes, you proceeded to the large statue of the stone gargoyle guarding the Headmaster's office.
"Sherbet Lemon," you both answered automatically. The gargoyle leapt aside as you and Harry were free to ascend the circular staircase, and knock on Dumbledore's wooden door.
"Come in," an old and judicious voice answered. You both walked inside, and to your astonishment, Draco was sitting on a chair to the right of two other chairs.
He was grinning broadly at you, but then scowled at Harry.
"Now, now," Dumbledore chuckled. "No need for anger."
"You wanted to speak with us, Professor Dumbledore?" you broke the ice.
"Yes, I did. Now this concerns all of you, and it has come to my attention that now is the appropriate time to tell you about it," he eyed you all with utmost importance as you and Harry sat down on the two extra chairs.
Harry made sure to stay far away from Malfoy.
"Since the relationship between Mr. Malfoy, and Miss. Granger over here has been blooming, I think now would not pressure you," he took some tension off this puzzling conversation.
"Blooming relationship?" Harry cut in. "You've got to be kidding me!"
Dumbledore beamed, "It's true, my dear boy. They are reunited once again...Ahh, love is so wonderful, isn't it?"
Everyone seemed insane to Harry. Was Dumbledore actually okay with Malfoy and Tawny dating? His mind spun with anger and confusion.
"Sir, are you actually telling me that you're happy with them dating?" Harry asked disbelievingly.
"Do not worry. This is not such a negative thing," Dumbledore guaranteed.
"I swear, Malfoy. After this, I'm going to pound your face for stealing my girlfriend, and for manipulating everyone!" Harry said to Malfoy through gritted teeth.
"Why don't you do it right now, Potter?" Malfoy spat. "Let Tawny see how much of an attention-seeking prat you are."
"Now, now. This is important-" the intelectual man began, but was cut off by Harry.
"You're only with Tawny because you pressured her!" accused Harry. "You only wanted her because she was with me! I was with her first!"
"No, you weren't," Malfoy rambled. "And Tawny and me were already in love before she knew you!"
"Professor, could you please make them stop?" you finally said.
He chuckled silently, but nodded, "Silence, dear children." The hormonal boys quieted themselves down.
"Thank you..." he continued. "Now as I was about to tell you, dear children. The information I'm going to tell you needs to be taken with complete importance. It is not something to be handled with lightly..." Everyone discreetly gulped.
"There are few who are bestowed upon with this type of information, and there are many who have not overcome it." He began to conclude his puzzling speech. "...You are the few students with your destinies sealed in this one thing..." The room went silent.
Dumbledore impeded, "I'm aware you all know of it, and it is at last time to reveal your fates...I'm going to tell you the prophecy." The room went dead silent upon the last spoken word...
