I'm very sorry for not updating on thursday like I said I would. I got a little lazy - you know first day of summer and so on. Can you forgive me? I promise the next part will actually be out when I say it will and it won't take as long. Here is the next part - I hope you like it! This feeling...you didn't know what it was but you knew it wasn't good. It felt as though your happiness was spilling out of you while sadness took its place. You began to lose yourself in the darkness that was enveloping you. How could Shawn have all this darkness inside him? He had seemed almost nice for a Slytherin. Then you felt hands reaching through the darkness and pulling you out. You breathed in fresh air and stumbled backward, leaning into the person holding onto you firmly. Without glancing back, you knew who it was. Draco gently sat you down in the chair and turned towards Shawn angrily. "What the hell did you do to her?" he yelled, angrier than you had ever seen before. His anger seemed to silence everyone as they waited for Shawn to answer. "I was simply giving her a kiss. It's really no big deal and certaily no concern to you, Draco." Shawn replied, smiling. "There's something not right about you. You're about to regret ever coming to Hogwarts, asshole." Draco replied, stepping forward and pointing his wand at Shawn's head. "That's enough!" McGonagall yelled, stepping in between Draco and Shawn. You looked for Harry and saw him laying on the ground, Ron and Hermione kneeling down next to him with worried expressions on their faces. Worried yourself, you tried to get up, but felt very weak and slid back into your seat. After making sure Draco and Shawn were seperated, McGonagall ran over to Harry and examined him. She found nothing wrong but quickly had someone carrry him to the Nurse's office, a worried expression on her face. When Harry had left, she came over to you and looked you over quickly. "Are you alright, ~~~?" "I think so. I just feel very weak." you said softly, finding that even keeping your eyes open was difficult. "Mr.Malfoy since you are one of the strongest students here, you will bring ~~~ down to the Nurse's office. Do not harm one hair on her head I you will be expelled." she said seriously, meaning every word. Draco nodded and scooped you up, holding you far away as though you were something disgusting. A few Slytherins snickered as Draco walked out of the room, the door shutting behind him. As soon as the classroom was out of sight, he pulled you closer. In his arms you felt weightless and you looked up at him as he walked forward, a worried expression that he did not know could be seen on his face. Smiling, you finally let your eyes close. You opened your eyes to the sound of Harry shaking you, whispering your name as his face loomed over yours. "What?" You sat up and found you were in the hospital room, both you and Harry dressed in gowns. As you remembered Shawn and his kiss you felt a chill run down your spine. There was something bad about him, something that you knew was not quite right. "Harry, are you ok? I heard you screaming..." "After you kissed Shawn, my scar began to hurt. Worse than it ever as before actually..." Harry drifted off, absently rubbing his forehead. "And then I saw this vision. It was the strangest thing, and while these things are usually right, I can't see how this is." "What did you see?" you asked him, shifting over so he could sit on the side of the bed. "So many images flooded into my mind, I couldn't even sort through them all. I did pick some of them out though. First, I saw Shawn kneeling before Voldemort and Voldemort touching his wand to Shawn's arm, where the tatoo of the Death Eater's was. I saw Shawn return to Hogwarts and I saw you talking to Malfoy." At this Harry glanced up, questions written all over his face. "You were kissing and Shawn was watching you. It was wierd. And then it flashed to you kissing Shawn now but there was something that looked like pale smoke moving from his body to yours. Something dangerous." "We should tell Dumbledore. He can help us," you said, scared. Was that what you had felt? "You're right. Let's go now." Harry replied firmly, standing. "Right." you said firmly, standing up yourself. Grabbing your wands, you and Harry quietly left the hospital, making sure no one was in the corrider. "Lumos!" Your wand lit, casting a dull light over the path in front of you. "Do you think what you saw was true Harry?" you asked, looking into the darkness beyond your light. "I don't know. You and Draco, Shawn and Voldemort...it seems almost impossible." Harry replied, shaking his head. "I have a confession..." you said, glancing over at Harry. "I've been with Draco since this summer...and I'm almost positive that I love him." Harry stopped. "What?" "He's not the way he seems! It's not his fault that he was stuck with a family as evil as his. His father is horrible, Harry!" you said, trying to make Harry understand. "I can't change my whole view of Malfoy...but I will trust you." Harry said, smiling. "Okay." you said, smiling. "But I'm still not going to like him." Harry replied. " Oh, you will." you replied mysteriously, a dark look on your face. "Ok, I don't like that look, ~~~." Harry said, laughing. You both continued your walk to Dumbledore's office and stopped before the statue. After guessing multiple passwords, you finally got the correct one and began ascending the seemingly neverending staircase. On and on it went until finally you saw the door to Dumbledore's office. "Should we knock?" you asked, uncertainly. Harry nodded and you knocked softly at first and then harder. Just when you were about to leave, the door opened to reveal a dark and quiet room. You stepped in and for one terrible moment saw the dungeon walls from your dreams; a second later it had vanished, leaving you with a heavy pulse. Get a hold of yourself ~~~. I haven't had one of those dreams for weeks now. "Hello? Professor Dumledore?" Harry's questions were met with silence. "Where could he be?" you asked, looking around. A flash of silver light caught your eye; walking to it you saw a silvery liquid rippling in a medium sized bowl. "What's this?" you asked, mostly to yourself, drawing closer. Getting closer, you thought you saw an image dancing in the middle of the liquid. "Huh?" Without noticing, you had gotten so close that your nose touched the liquid. "~~~, don't!" Harry yelled, grabbing to the back of your robes just before you were both sucked head first into the bowl. "Umph!" With a thump, you and Harry landed roughly in a place that looked like Dumbledore's office, but wasn't. It looked as though it belonged to a different headmaster. "What is this?" you whispered, standing and looking around with wonder. "This is Dumbledore's thoughts. We shouldn't be here but I don't know how to get out. We'll have to wait for Dumbledore to find us." Harry said, looking around as well. You both turned around as you heard the door being opened and saw a much younger Dumbledore walk into the room, looking around in much the same way you were. "Headmaster Dippet (i think)?" he called out, while behind him appeared a boy you recognized as Tom Riddle. "It's him!" Harry said, pointing at Tom. "Yes, Albus. And Tom. What can I help you with?" he said, appearing from another room and sitting at his desk. ""I just found Tom trying to create a spell that is involved with the dark arts." Dumbledore said, sitting in an empty chair. "What? Tom is this true?" "I didn't know it was dark magic sir! I was just curious." Tom said, putting on a fantastic act. "Tom, why would you need to control someone's body?", Dumbledore asked pleasently enough, the twinkle gone from his eyes. "Now, Albus. Tom is one of our best students. I'm sure it was an accident. He won't do it again, right Tom?" Dippet asked, winking at Tom. "Yes sir!" Tom said, smiling broadly. As soon as he had turned his back, he smirked and walked out of the room. Dumbledore sighed and followed Tom out. "Not the brightest man." you heard a voice say from behind you. Spinning around, you saw Dumbledore standing behind you. "Shall we go now?" he asked, grabbing a piece of both of your clothes. You both nodded and before you knew it, you were sitting on Dumbledore's floor, surrounded by his familiar office. "So, I heard that something happened today in your class." Dumbledore began, asking you to tell what had happened. So you and Harry, each telling your own side. As the story reached its end, Dumbledore grew more and more serious, even standing up when Harry mentioned what he had seen. Only a minute or two later, a fearful McGonagall ran into the room. "What is it, Albus?" she asked, seeing you and Harry. "Please go get Shawn right away." Dumbledore said quietly and in such a way that McGonagall disapparated before he could draw breath. The three of you sat in silence and waited for McGonagall to return, the tension becoming thicker every second as you became more and more nervous. Was it that serious? McGonagall apparated into the room empty handed, and said, "I looked everywhere Albus. The paintings are saying he left the castle sometime this morning. I found this on his bed." She hed up a piece of paper that had the mark of a Death Eater drawn on it and Dumbledore took it silently, staring at it for a few moments. "Umm, Professor Dumbledore? What's going on?" you asked, breaking the heavy silence. "As you know, thoughts that I think important are put into the Pensieve so I can look back on them later. I have always thought of that scene as a warning of what Tom was capable of. Even in his 5th year here at Hogwarts, Tom was very advanced in all of his subjects, but he excelled in the Dark Arts above all others. So much so, that he started creating his own spells, including the one you just saw." Dumbledore stopped talking and after saying an incantation, unlocked a drawer in his desk. He pulled out an ancient looking book and after leafing through it, pulled out a yelowed piece of paper that was beginning to fall apart at the edges. "This is part of the spell that Tom created.", Dumbledore continued. "I thought it would be important in later years and it looks like I was correct." You leaned forward, glancing at the spell and seeing ingredients that made you stomach curl. "You both know the Imperious Curse, correct?" After you had both nodded, Dumbledore continued, "This is along the same lines. Only worse, because no one has been able to figure out a cure for it. The spell is cloaked in mystery and only Voldemort knows the complete form of it. I do know that whoever the spell is cast on will be controlled until either the cursed or the person who cast it is killed." "Does this mean Voldemort can control me?" you whispered, hoping it couldn't be true. "If Voldemort has completed the spell and taught it to Shawn, then it very well could be. We must find a way to break the curse. Voldemort must have a plan and you may play a crucial role in it." "What should we do, sir?" Harry asked, gripping his wand tightly, hating Voldemort even more than before. "I want both of you to take Occlumency lessons with Professor Snape." "But, I already-" "I know you already had some lessons, Harry, but I would feel much better if we took as many precautions as possible. Until I figure this whole thing out, you will both work with Snape to better defend your minds." Dumbledore said firmly, leaving no room for discussion. "When will I know if the spell worked?" you asked, scared at the prospect. "I'm sorry, I don't have any more answers ~~~." Dumbledore said, shaking his head sadly. After a few more words were exchanged, you and Harry said good-bye and descended the staircase, knowing that things would be different from now on. "Don't worry, ~~~. We'll figure this thing out together." Harry said firmly, putting a comforting arm around you. "I don't know Harry. Even Dumbledore isn't sure what's going on." "Dumbledore isn't even sure if the spell worked." Harry replied. "He was just saying that to be nice. I could feel it, Harry. I know something happened when Shawn kissed me." you said firmly, shaking your head sadly. "We will beat this ~~~. But first we need a good night's sleep, ok? I'll see you tomorrow?" Harry asked as you both entered the common room. You nodded and traveled up the stairs, feeling as alone as ever. What's going to happen to me? Of all the students at Hogwarts, why did he have to choose me? Sighing, you walked to your bed, fighting to hold back tears, and pulled back the covers. It took you a few seconds to believe what you were seeing. There was Draco, sound asleep, probably waiting for you to come back. "So cute." you said to yourself, a smile on your face. I have Draco Malfoy...in my bed. Oh, the possiblities. , you thought, smiling as you felt Draco's arm snake around your waist and pull you into your bed. Well, that's it for this one.
