What happens at Camp Evintin, stays at Camp Evintin ~ Chapter one- You didn't tell me 3\4 of the camp was boys!?!

We had been on the road for 3 1/2 hours and I was beginning to get more and more annoyed with my over-obsessed mother.
"Don't change the station!"
"It's commercials mom"
"So!" she'd bark like that over and over and over AGAIN. and I was starting to get sick of it.
Finally when we where about 15 min. away from our destination I still had no idea where we where going. All I knew was that I was going to be staying there all summer. So naturally I was slightly worried about A)my liking to this place and B) The fact that I will be separated from my best friends Allie, Marissa, and Jess all summer... this was gonna be hell and I could already tell. >< "Ok, Caitlin, we're here."
I looked up from my feet and awoke from my day dreams of where the hell I was going. I looked up at the huge sign hanging between two posts above the gravel road, it read WELCOME TO CAMP EVINTIN!
whew, ok so it was just a camp. So the usual swimming, hiking, mess hall camp. right? wrong.
I looked around, and to my horror I only saw two girls! and about fifty boys! this was gonna be a nightmare!
Now its not that I'm ugly I told myself as I looked at my skrawny 15-year-old body. I was mildy flat chested. much too skinny, i had mousy dark blonde hair and too dark brown eyes. ok so maybe i am ugly I told myself. But i still tried to convince myself that I was only uncomfortable with the opposite sex.
"Hi, my name's Ashley, and I'll be your bunk master." said an all to cheery blonde girl in her high teens or early twenties.
"umm k" i Replied
She led me to a cabin and told me to pick a bunk. there was only one left and it was on the bottom. So i loaded my stuff on the bed and stuck my clothes under the bunk bed, thankful for the room under the bed.
I looked around and it was completely obvious I would be sharing this cabin with boys. Great I tought, just great.
"See ya in two months, sweety!" said my mom.
Just great I thougth. Two months and 3/4 of the camp was guys. I rolled my eyes and said my goodbyes to my mother.

I sat there and thought about how I was gonna make any friends here. A) I had NEVER had a boyfriend and B) I was horrible when it came to even talking to guys.
"Tell me if you need anything!" Said the cheery blonde girl named Ashley.
"K" I replied...
"Theres an all camp meeting at 5" she told me before she left.
I glanced at my watch, it was 4:15
great, i thought, so i had 45 miniutes to kill...
I took a look around the cabin some more, it wasn't the outdoorsy woodsy horrible type, so that was ok with me.
There was a bathroom with two stalls and two showers, i rolled my eyes thinking of the guys that would be showering next to me. I shivered and decided not to think about it.
I headed down to the beach to think for a while. There where a few guys down there, some where in the lake swimming and some where just sitting around. I told myself it was nothing a couldn't handle, and sat down on a rock.
