I promised~Sasuke~Sequel to A life without regrets~ YAY

Princess Ai sat on her throne room chair, lost in deep thought. She looked up at the ceiling, which was made of glass. It was 9 at night and the stars were brightly shining in the sky.
The sound of the giant oak doors opening brought Ai out of her trance. One of the castle caretakers, Mara, came in and bowed. "Princess, there are ninjas from Konoha here to see you." Ai nodded and Mara let them in.
Ai let a small gasp when she saw the ninjas. They were people who had made the greatest impact on her life. People she had selfishly tried to forget, Naruto Uzumaki, Shikamaru Nara, and Sasuke Uchiha.
They approached her sitting form and bowed before her. When they straightened up Ai began to talk, "What brings you here?"
"We're here for a mission. We still need to be briefed." Shikamaru said lazily. Apparently he was the leader of the mission.
"Mission? Oh right, you need to talk to Jin about that. I'll lead you there." Ai answered standing up. Her fire red hair swaying lightly as she walked past the boy, her long black gown trailing behind her.
"Breakfast tomorrow will be at 9, I will get the woman who showed you in before, Mara, to lead you to your rooms when you're done talking to Jin. She will also lead you down to the dinning hall."
Ai said as she walked in front of the 3 men. They had to be at least 22 now. It had been 5 years since she had seen then last.
Ai stopped suddenly at a door, and pushed it open. A man looking to be about 30 years of age was polishing a sword in what looked to be a training room.
"Jin, these are the ninjas from Konoha. They still need to be briefed." Ai said when she walked into the room.
"Yes, princess." Jin replied bowing.
Jin had short messy brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing an outfit that consisted of, long black pants and a white mussel shirt. He was actually very attractive.
"Thank you Jin." Ai said before she left.
The three men stood in front of Jin waiting for him to talk. Jin placed the sword on the ground before he said, "You are three people that have made an impact on Princess Ai's life. The mission is simply to make her smile. Before she left for Konoha she would always smile, but we knew it was fake. Yet it still seemed to brighten this place up."
Jin sighed before continuing, "ever since she got back from Konoha no one has seen her smile. We need your help."
Shikamaru, Naruto and Sasuke all nodded, they were all willing to help their old friend no matter what.
"Thank you guys, but remember this mission is to be kept a secret." Jin said "Mara should be waiting for you guys out side the door now." He continued picking up his sword again.
Ai sat at the dinning table the next morning, waiting for Mara to bring the 3 ninjas down. Ai was sure Sasuke was over her by now. It saddened her to think that, because she still really likes Sasuke. Even though she had tried her best to forget him.
Ai was 22 now and the council of elders would want her to get married. Ai didn't want to get married now that she had found out her father had picked her husband. Even though he had died nothing could be changed. The man was supposed to arrive within the week.

"Good Morning" an overly loud voice said
"Shhhh, be quite, Princess Ai doesn't like loud noises." Mara said waling in behind the 3 ninjas.
"Its fine Mara, the quite is starting to creep me out." Ai told her kindly.
Mara nodded and walked out of the room, but Ai called her back, "Tell Lara I need to talk to her please." Mara nodded again and walked out of the room.
Sasuke looked around, taking in his surroundings. It was similar to the throne room, the ceiling was glass. There was a dinning table long enough to seat 12. Ai was seated at the head of the table. Naruto ran over and sat on her right side and started to talk with her.
It looked as if Ai was fighting with herself to not smile or laugh. Shikamaru shook his head and muttered 'troublesome' under his breath. Her then went and sat on Ai's left. Just as Sasuke say down beside Shikamaru, Mara waked into the room again. But she was wearing a different outfit then from before.
'Must be Mara's twin.' Sasuke thought
"Ah Lara, I just had a question about when my fiance will be arriving." Ai said. Sasuke's heart fell but he didn't let it show.
"He should be arriving next month. He had to go on a mission, so when the mission is over he will be coming here." Lara explained. Ai nodded. "Thank you, thats all I needed."
"You're getting married?" Shikamaru inquired.
"Yes my father arranged it for me before I was born. That's all I know about it." Ai told them. "So how is Kakashi?"
"He's good; everyone really misses you in Konoha." Naruto said.
"I've really missed them." Ai said sighing. "Now, I was planning on going into town today, I have some errands to run. Would you 3 like to come?"
They all nodded.

Mission success!
After 3 weeks, Ai smiled, and laughed. It really did seem to brighten the place up. But when the 3 ninjas had to leave, Ai cried.
Ai wrapped her arms around Naruto, "Bye, I'll miss you guys." She then hugged Shikamaru.
"This is troublesome."
AI laughed despite the tears that ran down her face. She then turned to Sasuke.
"We'll wait outside." Shikamaru said pulling Naruto out the door.
"I'll miss you." Ai said crying more, wrapping her arms around Sasuke, never wanting to let go. Sasuke pulled back a bit looking Ai I the eye. He wanted so badly to stay here, but he knew he couldn't. And to say good bye he did the only thing he could think of doing.
He kissed her.
"We'll see each other again, I promise. Maybe even sooner then we think." Sasuke said when the kiss was broken.
And how right he was.
Ai was dreading the arrival of her fiance. She could only imagine what her father had picked for her.
"Princess, he's here." Lara said coming into the throne room.
Ai nodded and stood up, running a hand through her hair and straighten out her long red dress. She walked down from where she sat to meet her new husband. Lara moved to the side reviling Ai's husband.

Ai couldn't believe her eyes. She ran forward and hugged Sasuke, her new husband.
"I can't believe this!" she exclaimed kissing Sasuke.
He himself couldn't believe it. He had just arrived back to Konoha when the Hokage wanted to see him. When the Hokage said that he would be going back to Star, he was confused. When the Hokage said that he, Sasuke had been picked to be wed to Ai, he was a happy as could be.
When the kiss ended Sasuke replied, "I promised you we'd see each other again soon."
