Harry's POV
You had just stormed upstairs after Sarah and Hermione came in the kitchen.
The nerve of that Sarah character! That brat, trying to charm me and then
hoping she would get the inside look on my scar! Well, she's got something else
coming...
"Hello, Hermione," You say stiffly, turning you back on Sarah.
"You're being ridiculous. So are you, Ron," Hermione said, folding her
arms. You glance at her and see that Sarah was keeping her distance from you.
Good...She can stay away from me...
"What do you want?" You hear Ron ask over your shoulder.
"Nothing, really, it's Sarah," Hermione said. You hear a quiet huff
and a "Hermione!". "Ok, ok, we came to come talk to you
and straighten things out. "Pff...Fat chance..." You say. "C'mon
Harry-turn around," She said and you reluctantly, and slowly, turned
around. Sarah was wearing a determined look on her face. You look away from her
to Ron. "So..." Ron said stubbornly. "Look, Sarah didn't know
about your scar, Harry," Hermione said. You look up surprised. "That's
right. All she knew was that her mom and dad were friends of your mom and dad,
and but her parents didn't tell her how your parents died-or about you,"
Hermione said, looking at you harshly. "About you what?" Sarah looked
from Hermione to you. "Oh," You say quietly, going red. Sarah finally
completely gave up on getting any answers at all and sat down of the floor,
sighing. "I didn't know...I thought you knew...How don't you know?"
You ask curiously. "My family didn't get the Daily Prophet, or any
newspaper for that matter. My parents and me don't believe the press is good
because it prints rubbish about people," Sarah said quietly. "So
true," Ron muttered. "Oh-then-er-I'm sorry...Can we start over?"
You ask hesitantly. "Sure," Sarah says smiling. "I'm Harry
Potter," You say. "I'm Sarah Whister," Sarah replied. "If
you really don't mind me asking-I don't want to ask you if you don't want to
answer-but what is that scar?" Lily said. You look into her amazing purple
eyes-
Wait, purple?
-and see that she's truly just curious. You muster a grin and say,
"You'll find out later." Sarah laughed and smiled again. "Can I
ask you a couple questions?" Harry asked. Sarah smiled playfully,
"Maybe." "Ok-one-why are your eyes purple?" Sarah laughed at
that. "Let's just say I'm a little...different..." Her purple eyes
twinkled with secrets as you open your mouth to ask the next question.
"And...Why did you say my parents had-Are they sick?" You see
Sarah give a short gasp and she sort of glazed over. "They're dead. Do you
know Hagrid at Hogwarts?" You nod. "Well, he wouldn't tell me the
wizard who-er-did it, but it seemed like he was afraid of the name of something!
But the hospital found a pulse when they came to my house that night and so my
mom might be alive..." Sarah said quietly. You looked at Hermione and Ron
and give them a look. "We-er-know probably who that wizard was. It was the
same one who killed my parents..." You said, looking up at Sarah. Her mouth
formed an O and spoke again. "I-I never knew-I'm sorry," She said. You
feel yourself shrug and smile. "It's OK," You say.
Hermione's POV
"Well, it's so much nicer atmosphere is here once we're
all...friendly," Hermione said with a laugh. Ron snorted. Harry smiled.
"You're smiling a lot nowadays," Ron said with a satisfied grin.
"Yep," Harry said. "Uh, yeah-family reunion people-can we get out
of here? That stupid ghoul in the corner in rattling the brains out of me,"
Sarah said. Everybody laughed and and you all trooped out, Harry in front of
you. Before he stepped out you grabbed his arm. "Hey-Harry-wait up,"
You said. "What?" He said. "D'you think that wizard that killed
her mum and dad was Voldemort?" Harry thought for a moment and replied.
"Yes..." He said slowly, "Why else would Hagrid've been
worried?" He turned slowly and made his way to the door. Your throat
tightened and you followed.
