an inuyasha tale #12 (secret)

Ok, last chapter Amaya took your shikron shards and you figure out she also killed your best friend. Have fun! Oh by the way, this chapter might be more about Amaya, Tara, and Ashura than you, just to point it out.

"Lets go get her" You say as you hop on Inuyasha. Everyone runs off to follow Amaya. You spot her floating in the air after awhile of chasing. She slows and stops in the middle of a field. Sango, shippo and Miroku get off of Kirara, and you hop off of Inuyasha. "Ready to lose that sword too, Inuyasha?" Amaya says as she smirked. "How are you supposed to fight if there's no water?" Inuyasha says as he crosses his arms and smirks. CRACK BOOOM! It starts to downpoar. Amaya gives that "what-are-you-going-to-do-now?" look. She quickly creates a huge wave of water and pushes it towards Inuyasha. He doges it, but it goes straight towards you and the gang. The water freezes them in the air. All you can do is watch the fight. She makes herself an ice sword. Inuyasha draws his sword, but realizes that it wont transform. *It still must be taking effect from Kagome's arrows* Inuyasha thinks. Amaya attacks. Inuyasha uses Tetsusaiga as a regular sword to block her attacks. "I hope Tetsusaiga's powers return to normal soon" Sango says. "The only reason You want the shards is for power!" Inuyasha yells. Amaya knocks him to the ground. "You know nothing of me!" She shouts back. "You dont know the horrors I've been through, the lives I've seen fade away. My mom didn't die for me to let a worthless half demon defeat me!". Her eyes were Dark blue with rage. You try to melt the ice, but with the rain you cannot use your powers. You close your eyes. All you can hear is the clashing of swords and the splashing of rain on the ice. *Inuyasha, I'm going to help you* you think. Your eyes open, glowing red. You are helplessly in a trance. You break out of the ice. You turn into your dragon form and walk up to Inuyasha. As though you forgot him, you walk past Inuyasha towards Amaya. "how dare you kill my friend. I will never forgive you" you say in a groggaly tone. You breathe fire at her, burning most of the field too. She staggers back up, cinged black. "How d-dare you" she said, "You cant defeat me". She wraps herself in water, lifts into the air, and glows light blue. She touches back to the ground with only a few burn marks on her.

"I'm Immortal!" she shouts as she shoots a huge wave of ice at you. It hits you and you fall to the ground. Inuyasha sneeked back around Amaya and grabbed your shards around her neck. She turns around and grabs the other end of the necklace, breaking it in half. Tetsusaiga finally transforms into a fang. She forms an ice bow-and-arrow and aims it at you. "Raise your sword and the girl dies!" Amaya shouts. You open your eyes, and realize that you are pinned to the ground. Your skirt is torn at the bottom and your sleeves are ripped off, but you are fine. You focus your energy on the bow and arrow. It melts in her hands. "WIND SCAR!!!" Inuyasha shouts as she swings the blade. "Nooooo!" Amaya shouts as she gets flinged into the air. Pieces of her silk skirt float in the wind. The rain stops. "I only got half of them back, sorry" inuyasha says as he hauls the ice off of you. Kirara helps everyone else out. "It's ok.." you say.

You and the gang decide to take it easy for a day or two. (ok thats it for your part in this chapter. Now for what happened to Amaya.)

The moon shone brightly on the lake where Amaya lay. The woods seemed to stand still all around the lake. Her dress was shredded up to her knees, and her white hair flowed with the tide. She lay right where the water touched the land. The bushes rustled, and two figures stepped into the moonlight. "She's got shards, do ya think she'll put up a fight?" Tara asked Ashura. "She's unconcious, it'll be easy" Ashura replied. Amaya slowly opened her eyes. She floated up and looked at Tara and Ashura. She made herself an Ice sword and a huge wave of water rose up behind her. "Dont move" she says as she walks a step closer. "You talk big, but can you fight?" Tara says as she took a step towards Amaya. The wall of water surged towards Tara and Ashura, freezing them up agenst a tree. Amaya fell to her knees, breathing hard. "Dammit....that bastard Inuyasha.." she says as she looks at her wounds. "How do you know Inuyasha?" Tara asked, "He's my enemy". "So, you got defeated by him as well?" Ashura says. "Yes, I need to get revenge on him" Amaya replies. "Same here" Tara and Ashura both say. Amaya turnes the ice back to water. Ashura helps her up. "So, you've got shards like me" Tara says. "Yeah, I just got some from that girl with Inuyasha too" Amaya says as she holds up the half of the necklace that she got from you. "So anyway, you were telling me about inuyasha's weakness." Ashura says to Tara. The two started walking along the shoreline. Amaya floated over the water. "Oh yes. Inuyasha's weakness is a girl" Tara says, smirking. "How weak can he be?" Ashura shouts. "Her name is Kikyo, she is a priestess of the village that bound him to the tree 50 years ago, Untill that stupid girl Kagome let him out again" Tara explained. "So the girl with the blond hair is Kagome?" Ashura asked. "I think that girl's name was Mitsuko" Amaya answers, "you said her name was kikyo? I've herd that Kagome is Kikyo's reincarnation. I've herd she's from a different time period". "Hey, wanna go raid a village for shards?" Ashura asks. "Yeah, then we can take Inuyasha down" Tara answers as they all speed down the lakeshore towards a village.

The village was a blood bath after the demons arrived. They slautered endless amounts of people, blood stained the ground and the huts. Ashura stood in the moonlight with blood on her face. She spotted movement in one last hut. "Come on" she ordered to Tara and Amaya. "Since when did we take orders from you?" amaya questioned. "Quiet! because that hut has shards in it, and we dont want them to run" Ashura grinned as she walked towards the hut. They silently walked though the hut, making no sound whatsoever. "Over here!" Tara whispered sharply. On the ground sat a mother and child. "M-mommy, I'm scared" the child said to her mother. "It's going to be ok" her mother said, "Please, spare my daughter". "Awww so sorry, cant do that" Ashura said as she raised her blood-covered claws. Amaya looked at the child. Instead of the short, brown-haired child that sat before her, her reflection as a child stared back at her. The mother had changed into hers too. "M-mother...." Amaya whispered. "What?" Tara asked, wondering why she said that. But Amaya was gone, in a trance. Her eyes glowed bright, light blue. "Dont touch her!" Amaya shouted in an odd tone of voice. She stood in front of the mother and child, protecting them. "You're letting them escape!" Ashura shouted, backing up a step. Amaya formed herself an ice sword as the mother and child escaped. She swung it wildly at them. Tara and Ashura bolted out of the hut with Amaya floating quickly behind them. They bolted through the trees, until they reached a clearing. They turned towards Amaya, ready to defend themselves. Amaya stood floating silently. *Amaya only reacted when the mother was going to be killed in front of that girl... what if Amaya.. was in the same place as that girl...* Tara thought as she lowered her whip. "her mother died..." Tara said quietly. "You know nothing of me..." she said in the same, mutated voice. She forced them up agenst a tree with ice. She walked towards them, staggering. "Amaya! wake up!" Ashura shouted. It was useless, she couldn't be awakened. Amaya was going to finish them when Tara thought of an idea. "Amaya! my parents died too! You're not alone! you have us now! dont give in!" Tara shouted, almost giving up hope. "Wh-What?" Amaya said as the glow in her eyes started to fade. She fell to the ground and the ice turned back to normal.

Amaya woke up after awhile. Ashura was trying to wash the blood off of her hands and clothes and Tara was looking up at the moon. "When I was little, my mother and I were attacked. My mother gave her life for mine, she used the last of her strength for me to survive. She died in front of me..." Amaya said as she sat down by Tara, "Now, whenever I see a mother about to die in front of their child, I cant help it, I go out of control". "Looks like you've been through some hard times..." Tara said. "yeah" amaya replied. "AAARGGGGHHHH HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET BLOOD OUT OF YOUR FREKIN CLOTHES!!!!" Ashura shouted from the lakeside, making Amaya and Tara jump. "SHUT THE HELL UP ASHURA" Tara shouted back. "Well anyways, next time we meet Inuyasha, we'll be ready" Amaya says as she stands up.
