It was dark, you could barely see, but you had to find him, you had to warn him. "So, you thought you could trick me did you?" You stopped as someone peered out of the shadows, his wand pressed firmly in the middle of your chest. You heartbeat sped up, and your blood ran cold, your stomach twisted in knots, this couldn't be happening. "I must admit, you had me going there for a while. I wonder, did anyone ever tell you were a very talented actress?" Your breathing grew shallow as you backed up away from him, his wand still digging into your skin, steering you backward. You couldn't move back any further, you felt the cold stone of an outside wall behind you, keeping you from going anywhere. Morghan, Morghan Did you really think you were going to get away with this? The cold voice sneered. You were shaking from head to toe, though the air around you was as warm as the hottest summer night, and your blood had frozen a long time ago, though the heat from your body was enough to melt dry ice. You are a clever girl. You had me fooled, but I am not like the young Harry Potter, I, fortunately, dont let my emotions take over me. The icy voice threatened. You have no chance. Harry will kill you! You say, your voice quivering, true hatred saturating your words. The quiet night was shattered as a high-pitched, bone rattling laugh shrieked in the night, chilling the warm air. Oh Morghan Do you really think he could defeat me ? The cold voice stepped out of the shadows revealing the most hideous beast you had ever seen. His face was pale white, his nostrils like snake slits, his eyes glowed in a bloody, shining crimson, his face sunken in like a skull with flaps of skin covering the bone. Though your body and voice shook in fear, hate and anger was building up inside you, giving you the strength to speak. You resisted the urge to regurgitate, and swallowed your fear. You think youre so smart, so tough, but your not. You hate what you are; you are no better than the mudbloods you destroy in their sleep. You are nothing but a slithering serpent, cowering in the dark, afraid to admit the truth. That snakes are more afraid of humans, than humans are of snakes, and you know it. You couldnt defeat Harry before, and you wont be able to do it again, you never will and thats what scares you the most! That Harry will beat you, and finally the Dark Lord will fall. You yell into the night, your voice sounding more courageous than you felt. You heard him give a soft chuckle, sending quick shivers down your neck and spine. You hawked back as much mucus as you could get and summoned it to your mouth and spat it disgustedly at the pale, snake-like man. Mucus and spit dripped down the side of his face, slowly spilling into every pore lying beneath his eye and cheekbone. Strong hands closed in around your neck, choking you, suffocating you, shocking you, as Voldemort lifted you higher and higher off the ground. Voldemort usually didnt resort to physical revenge; you thought he depended fully on magic and magic alone. You couldnt bear to look at him from up close; it was like looking upon the living dead. Dont you like what your lover did to me? What he transformed me into? He whispered, a sickly-sweet smile following his statement. You dont like this monster he made? He asked. You were always a monster, now its just showing through your skin. In my opinion, Harry did you a favor. Without him, no one else would have been able to see what you truly are. You choked out icily. Voldemort shot you a fierce look, and released you quickly, taking a few steps away from you, turning his back on you as if he were in a meeting. You fell hard to the soft earth and tried to catch your breath, your hands rubbing the place his hands held you, trying regain your strength and bravery. Its a shame I have to kill you. Voldemort said turning back to you and walking up to you. You stood and backed up and into the wall again, trying to get away from him, there was no telling what he was going to do next. With nowhere else to go, you pressed yourself as close to wall as you could get, hoping maybe youd melt into it, become the wall. Voldemort continued to come closer, and closer still until his body was touching yours. Then he lifted his hand and ran it down the side of your cheek in an affectionate way, or, affectionate in his case. You could have been my queen You could have ruled absolutely beside me. I could have given you everything you wanted Voldemort whispered seductively in your ear. Its not too late, you can still join me He continued, pulling away slightly to look back into your face. He leaned in and caught your lips, shoving his tongue in between your lips, kissing you passionately, completely hooked to your mouth. Waiting for the perfect chance, you bit his tongue, sinking your teeth down into the skin, breaking the muscle, cutting it deeper and deeper, blood flowing into your mouth from the open wound, but he still didnt pull away. This man was crazy, you were desperate, you didnt know what else to do. You twisted and turned, trying to get away from him, when he finally pulled back, a satisfied smirk on his face. You were disgusted, you could barely see, you fell to the ground, crouched on your hands and knees, your whole body shaking from sickness. His blood poisoned your body as it cascaded down the back of your throat and into your system. God wouldnt some one please come and help you out of this. You disgust me, I will NEVER be your queen, Id rather die. You barely choke out, not believing you didnt puke all over yourself by now. What a shame, I'll actually regret killing you Though that doesnt mean I wont do it. He added as a slight afterthought. Dont touch her. Came an angry, low voice, growling out of the dark menacingly. Aww Wee little Potter decided to come out and play

I'm in a rush today.. I'm trying to get this one out, and I really hope you all like it!
Morghan... Morghan... are you okay? Morghan, answer me!!" You felt someone shaking you, trying to wake you up. You groaned, you felt dizzy, like you were about to fall over, or you did fall over, where were you? You slowly opened your eyes, trying to take in your surroundings, though your vision was blurred at first, and you couldn't see two inches in front of you. "Oh thank God..." you heard someone say in relief. You blinked your eyes slowly, and opened them back up to see Hermione hovering over you, clutching your shoulders tightly to keep you from falling over, which was a good thing, because you felt sick to your stomach. What happened last night? Then everything came flooding back into you: you and Harry talking, the promise ring, kissing, saying no... You suddenly felt like vomiting all over the carpet, there was no way you could face him today, not after what happened last night. "Morghan are you okay?" Hermione asked cautiously. "You look like you're about to be sick..." Hermione said, leaning away from you a little bit. "Are you going to be able to go to Hogsmeade today?" She asked, concerned for her best friend. You breathed slowly, trying to get the sick feeling to dissipate from out of your stomach. "Where is everyone?" you ask, finally being able to speak. "Ron is down eating breakfast, along with Ginny... and Harry is still asleep, I was about to go wake him up but then I saw you... Are you sure you're going to be okay, you don't look to well. Is there something you need to tell me?" Hermione interrogated you soothingly. "I'll tell you later... I just need to go get ready." you say slowly trying to get back up. Hermione helped you up a little, concern still apparent on her face as she nodded to your answer. "I'll go wake-up Harry, he'll be upset if we forget him. Go get dressed... Oh! and dress nice..." Hermione alluded. "Why?" You ask curiously. "We're meeting Eric, Jonas, Joey and Josh ..." Hermione teased. "So make sure you look nice, considering what's coming up this coming weekend." Hermione hinted, nodding over to the bulletin board holding all the recent announcements. You looked at her curiously as she headed up the boys dormitory to wake-up Harry, and walked over to the bulletin board to see what she was talking about.

Attention Students:
There will be a Valentines Dance on February 15. This is something new we have decided to try,
and if it works out properly, we may decide to do it again. There will be no dress robes required, but
there will be no jeans allowed. Please dress nice and appropriately, and remember to have fun!

A Valentine's dance? On February 15? That was this coming Saturday! You had today, and tomorrow to find a dress, or something to wear to this thing. Oh this was going to be a long day, and you already knew it. Especially wandering around Hogsmeade with Harry tagging along too, how were you going to face him? You decided to go upstairs and begin getting ready, but first you wanted to brush your teeth, for some odd reason, you had a metallic taste in your mouth, like blood or something. You reached forward and opened the door to the bathroom and headed over to the sink to wash your hands, but not before catching your reflection in the mirror; you looked like you had been hit by a train. Deciding to investigate the mysterious taste of blood you had, you opened your mouth and peered inside, shocked to see that your tongue had deep teeth marks in it, almost reaching the core of the strong muscle. Blood was pouring out of the wound non-stop and ran down the back of your throat, leaving stains and trails for other blood droplets to follow. You closed your eyes and wished for the cut to be healed, and just as if you had drank one of Madame Pomfreys powerful potions, the wound was re-closed and the blood evaporated into thin air. Confused and scared, you bent down to brush your teeth, wondering how you had gotten teeth marks that deep in your tongue. A familiar scene of your dream flashed through your mind, stopping you as you tried to grasp ahold of it, trying to remember what happened because all of a sudden it seemed so important. But the more you thought about your dream, the more you tried to remember what had happened, the more it slipped away, like soft grains of sand slipping off the tips of your fingers. Not understanding why this dream was so important, you continued brushing your teeth and thinking hard about, atleast, the end of the dream, or the very beginning. Just as you finished up your teeth, you heard Hermione call up to you, as if right on cue. "Morghan! Come here!" She demanded. You sighed and made a few wishes as you left the dormitory, cleaning up your hair, brushing up your face with a bit of make-up and giving you a change of 'pajama-looking' clothes. "Where are you?" You shouted as you reached the bottom of the staircase in between the girls the and boys dormitories. "I'm up here! In the boy's dorm!" She yelled again. Your stomach sunk down out of your body and melted in a puddle on the floor, and leaving it behind, you reluctantly headed up the boys dormitory, knowing that facing Harry was going to happen sooner than you would have liked it.

You reached forward and pushed open the door to see Hermione sitting on the edge of Harry's bed, Harry turned away from her with his pillow covering his head and his blankets covering the rest of his body. "What's up?" You ask upon entering, pretending you didn't mind being up here with Harry, pretending nothing had happened, and unfortunately, pretending was all you could do.. "Help me get him up and out of bed." She said desperately looking over at him. "What do you want me to do?" You ask confused. Hermione didn't answer right off, instead, she sat there a moment and thought hard, her finger resting on the edge of her chin, her legs crossed, and her elbow propped up on her knee; picture perfect. As an idea came to her, she looked up at you, her eyes bright, and motioned for you to go over to her. "You go for the pillow, and I'll go for the blankets. If worse comes to worse, and he's stronger than we thought, you can wish it all off him.." She whispered quietly in your ear. You smiled at her mischeviousness, this was the playful Hermione you loved to have fun with. You smiled broadly and nodded your head to show your understanding and to show your alacrity to the situation. You snuck around to the other side of the bed and waited for Hermione's signal- you looked up at her as she hovered over Harry's body, ready to attack. She looked up at you and nodded her head once and then jumped on top of him. Taking a deep breath, you leaped onto the bed, startling Harry, and began tugging at the pillow. It wasn't long before both you and Hermione were consumed in fits of laughter, both of you using all your strength to get Harry out of bed. Harry easily kept ahold of the pillows and blankets not allowing either one of you to get them off, it was as easy as if he was shooing off a few flies. You and Hermione finally gave up and collapsed side by side on top of him, trying to catch your breath from the laughter and the struggle to relieve Harry of his suffocation from his pillow and blankets. "Okay Morghan.." Hermione breathed, " We're going to have to go for plan B." She finished still trying to catch her breath. You sighed dramatically and then looked over at her and flashed her a smile. "Oh alright..." You droaned, acting like you'd rather eat a handful of booger flavored jelly beans than have to perform plan B. Hermione grinned and crawled off the bed, and stood upright, watching you and waiting patiently for you to do the job. You smiled and closed your eyes, concentrating on the blankets and pillows covering Harry, and then concentrating on a place to put them. Finally coming to a conclusion, you wished quietly for his 'covering' to disappear into the girls dormitory. You heard Hermione snort with laughter and cover her mouth as her eyes came into contact with Harry's bare chest and flannel covered legs, his arms holding down air over his head, not yet realizing what had happened. Harry opened his eyes at the sudden rush of cool air attacking him and realized his humility of the situation and flipped over on his back to look at you both. "Alright, alright.. you win..." he groaned rolling out of the bed and landing clumsily to his feet. You both stood, your arms crossed triumphantly, watching as he stretched and yawned sleepily, looking around the room for his pillows and blankets. "Okay... are you all going to leave so I can get dressed?" He asked sitting heavily on the edge of the bed. You could tell he really didn't want to go to Hogsmeade today, especially considering you would be there. "Oh! Right.. Come on Morghan, let's get out of here, now that he's awake." Hermione said turning and heading to the door, "I'll be down catching the last of breakfast, meet me down there. You probably need to finish getting ready too. See ya Harry." she added before she went jumping down the stairs and heading out to meet Ron. "Gosh she's really hyper today isn't she?" You ask with small laugh. "Mmhmm.." Harry mumbled, still sitting on the edge of the bed, studying his hands once again. You rolled your eyes and sighed," I'll see you later, Harry." you say a bit frustrated. Why couldn't you both get over this, and just be friends? It was really starting to anger you, how immature this whole thing was, it was like once it's over, everything is over, even friendship. You headed down the stairs, hearing Harry shut the door behind you as you kept walking and headed up to the girls dormitory to get changed.

Harry's P.O.V--

"Harry, come on... get up!" Hermione said desperately, shaking him to wake-up. "Noo.." Harry grumbled, knowing his voice would be muffled by his pillow which was pressed against his head, covering his mouth. "Why? You've been looking forward to another Hogsmeade weekend since... forever!" Hermione cried. Harry stayed quiet. It was true, he had been wanting to go to Hogsmeade since he first found out there would be one today, but that's just it, he had been wanting to go, but not anymore, not since last night. Harry's stomach still churned sickly at the though about last night. Everything was perfect, just perfect, he couldn't have imagined it any better, and yet somehow it was all ruined by...him. It was his fault and he knew it. It all went back to the night he kissed Tammy, if that night had never happened, none of this would have. Morghan was a good actress when it came time to be, but last night, he just knew, he could read her thoughts. She didn't want that relationship again, Harry had really messed everything up. He thought maybe if he made it alright again, there might have been some hope, but Morghan was really serious, she really didn't want to be with him anymore. Harry was in a stand-still, he had no idea what to do, he couldn't think of anything to prove to Morghan that he was in love with her, everytime he tried, it just didn't work, and he couldn't figure out a way to tell her, to show her. "Harry if you don't get up, I'm going to have to call for some help." Hermione threatened. Harry rolled his eyes, knowing Hermione couldn't see his face. "Harry, I know what this is about, and if you don't grow-up, then I'll fix it myself." Hermione said in her I-know-best voice. Harry sighed, but didn't move, he didn't know how he was going to face Morghan today. "Fine. Morghan! Come up here!" Harry's heart leapt, and his stomach churned sickly, not a very good combination, this was not happening. "Where are you?" Harry heard Morghan yell faintly. "I'm up here in the boys dorm!" Hermione answered back. Harry was hoping she didn't hear Hermione call for her, or that she had gone down to eat breakfast already, but his hopes were smashed. "I'm sorry Harry, but you're going to have to face her sooner or later. I don't know what happened last night, and I especially don't know why you left her down there on the floor and didn't put her on the couch or something." Hermione said. Harry lifted up a little bit and faced Hermione. "What do you mean?" he asked confused. "I mean I went down there this morning and she was passed out on the floor, it looked like she was having a fit or somthing. Must have been a bad dream, but still.." Harry heard the door crack open and he immediately threw himself back under the pillow, as Morghan made her way into the boys dormitory. "Whats up?" he heard her ask. "Help me get him up and out of bed." Hermione said desperately. "What do you want me to do?" Morghan asked walking closer to the bed. It was quiet for a moment, all Harry heard was Morghan walking over to the bed and Hermione standing up. Next thing Harry knew, he felt two bodies jump on top of him and began tugging at his pillow and blankets. Harry easily kept ahold of his covers and held them off without even breaking a sweat. Finally they stopped and flopped down on top of him, both of them gasping for air from laughing so hard, and trying to get him up. He couldn't help but smile at their goofiness. All Harry wanted to do was grab Morghan and take her in under the blankets and hold her hostage, just to hear her laugh in his ear and feel her body snuggled up close to his as he breathed in her scent and kissed her softly on her neck. "Okay Morghan..." Hermione breathed, "We're going to have to go for plan B." she finished. Harry waited quietly for 'plan b', and wondered what they were going to try next. "Oh alright.." Morghan groaned. He felt them get up and all of a sudden he felt a cold rush of air and he heard Hermione giggling over in the corner. Harry looked around and noticed his blankets and pillow had disappeared and his chest was in view for all to see, along with his flannel pants. "Alright, alright...you win.." Harry groaned rolling out of bed and stretched, a large yawn consuming his body. He sat back down on the edge of his bed, occupying the seat Hermione had before. "Okay, are you all going to leave so I can get dressed?" He asked. Actually it was only Hermione that needed to leave, Morghan had already seen everything Harry was going to show anyways and he knew that, but he didn't know whether he'd be able to stand Morghan being alone with him in the same room or not. God she was so gorgeous, and she just didn't know it. That's what is so attractive about her, that's what gets her all these guys. It was the fact that she had this radiant beauty about her, and she was so oblivious to it that she didn't go parading it around to everyone, she kept to herself, thinking no one wanted what she had, but she was wrong. "Oh! Right... Harry sat there quietly, looking at his hands, cleaning out his nails, trying to keep from starring at Morghan. "Gosh she's really hyper today isn't she?" Morghan asked with small laugh. How could Morghan just get over everything that happened last night? It's like nothing phased her, she just acted like he was her friend, like it used to be before they ever got together. "Mhmm.." he mumbled, he didn't know what else to say. Harry heard Morghan sigh, she was obviously frustrated about something, but Harry didn't know why, if anyone should be frustrated it should be him. "I'll see you later, Harry." Morghan said, her voice deflated, like she was giving up. Harry looked up and watched her head down the stairs, not bothering to shut the door behind her, making Harry have to get up and walk over to the door and shut it himself. Harry starred after Morghan as she headed up the girls dormitory, just wishing he had the courage to call her back and apologize for everything, just tell her how he felt about her, but it was already too late, he already missed his chance. He sadly snapped the door shut behind her, and slowly turned around and headed back towards his dressers to pick something else out to wear, not being able to keep his mind off of last night.

"I kept this. I stared at it for days and days, not knowing what to do with it. I didn't want to keep it, because it was proof that you weren't with me anymore. I wanted to toss it out the window and into the lake, hoping the giant squid would eat it and I wouldn't ever have to see it again, but I just couldn't. It sat on my bedside table every night, for days on end. Everyone told me to let it go and to just get rid of it, but I told them no, I had to keep it. When you left that day, after throwing it at me, I bent down and picked it up and just stared at it, in disbelief. I couldn't believe it was actually finally over. I had it in my head that as long as you still wore it you were still with me, but when it fell to the floor... " Harry stopped whispering, and looked up into her face. He wanted to turn away and stop starring at her, but he couldnt, she entranced him. He was so caught up in the past, so caught up in what there used to be that he couldnt just leave it in the past, he had to have it again. If this wasnt love, then he didnt know what he was feeling. He had never felt this way about anyone before, and he knew he couldnt feel this way with anyone else but her, and honestly, he didnt want to. Harry starred down at her, waiting for her reaction, wondering what shed do next, wondering what hed do next. Morghan looked up into his face, and Harry didnt know what urged him to do it, but he couldnt stand being this close to her without holding her, he had no restraining system in him anymore. Harry bent down and pressed his lips to hers gently, and waited for her to pull away, only she didnt.

Harry closed his eyes and tried to feel her lips on his again, as he rummaged through his dresser, trying to find a shirt to wear today. Maybe today, sometime during the trip, maybe he'd have the courage to tell her, or maybe he'd somehow find a way to show her, just somehow let her know how much he loved her.

Harry reached forward and felt her skin on his fingertips as he pulled her face closer to his, no thoughts running through his head as he felt Morghan's hands slither through his hair and hold on to the back of his head. Harry lifted his other hand and grabbed ahold of Morghan's shoulder, and pulled her body closer to his and directed her back towards the couch, completely forgetting about the ring lying quietly on the carpet. Harry leaned over her and planted gentle kisses along her jawline and then would race back to her lips, not believing this was actually happening, praying this wasn't just another cruel dream. God how much he missed her, he scent overtook him, and his stomach flew around inside him, he felt like he was riding a the tallest rollercoaster ever made, and he never wanted to get off. Morghan ran her hands through his hair, and Harry had a distinct feeling that this wasn't going to work-out, but he pushed it aside and let Morghan's lips linger on his for as long as possible.

Harry cursed himself as he laced up his shoes, he should have paid more attention to that feeling, but he was so intent on getting her back, that he pushed aside all possibilities of getting hurt, and now look what happened. Harry shook his head and walked to the door and headed downstairs, and as soon as he looked up, there was Morghan heading down the stairs just as well. Harry stopped for second and looked at her, just as she did. She really dressed herself up today, and, wow. "Come on, we better hurry up, they're already starting to leave." Morghan said walking to the door as fast as she could. Harry walked behind her, not as fast, just barely keeping up, as she led the way out the portrait door. "Come on! They've left, I'm serious!" She yelled over her shoulder. Harry narrowed his eyes and looked at his watch, they were late, and Morghan was right, they had already headed off towards Hogsmeade. Harry sped up and caught up to her, and watched in horror as the carriages pulled away, leaivng them both behind. Morghan was frozen, just as he was, and he wondered what they were going to do next. "Do you think if we ran, we could catch up to them?" Harry asked hopefully. Morghan shot him a you-are-so-stupid look and said, "Yeah, and if we did, we'd still have to keep running to find the carriage that had Hermione and Ron in it." "Oh, yeah.." Harry said distractedly. "Hold on a minute.. Harry come here!" Morghan demanded, "I've got an idea!" "What?" Harry asked curiously. "Here. Okay, umm, let me see.." Harry watched as she analyzed him, trying to figure out how she was going to work this out. "Okay look, you're going to have to--" Morghan stopped and grabbed his arms, and wrapped them around her waist, and then wrapped her arms around his waist. Morghan looked up into his face and said, "Okay, you're going to have to hold me really tight, I've never done this before, and I don't want something bad to happen to you." she said worredly. "Do you trust me?" Harry looked at her, and down into her eyes and found himself nodding his head. Morghan took a breath and said, "Right then.." Harry watched her as she closed her eyes and thought hard about what she was going to do next. All of a sudden, Harry felt a jerk behind his navel, the same feeling he would get as if he were being transported by a portkey, and by instinct he grabbed ahold of Morghan, and held her close to him as they traveled through space. Finally, Harry felt his feet hit solid ground and Morghan, not being used to traveling by portkey, (or somewhat like a portkey) couldn't hold herself up and went to hit the ground, but Harry kept hold of her and pulled her up to him. "Whew, thanks Harry." She said with a small laugh. She let go of him and Harry reluctantly let go of her and watched her as she began to dust herself off. "Safe in Hogsmeade, look, there's Hermione and Ron now!" She laughed pointing over to them. Harry tore his eyes away from her and looked in the direction she was directing and saw his friends, along with some other guests. Harry's stomach fell at who was walking with Hermione and Ron, and suddenly he knew why Morghan had dressed up a little more today. "Josh!" Morghan squealed excitedly. Josh smiled and held open his arms, allowing him to engulf Morghan in a large hug, Morghan hugging him back happily. "Morghan I was wondering about something, and it's been nagging at me for a long time now." Harry felt like he was about to be sick. "What?" Morghan asked, a smile glowing from her face. "I was just thinking, that with the Valentine's dance coming up..." Harry didn't want to hear this. "...that maybe you'd like to go with me?" Harry knew it, and wished Josh had asked her something else. Though it seemed Morghan was thinking something completely different, as her whole face lit up with a smile. "Yes! Ofcourse!" She answered happily. "And maybe, if all goes well, we could see how far this goes from there.." Josh said with a happy, sure smile. Morghan's face was practically melting Harry with how bright it was shining, and all Harry wanted to do was kill Josh and whisk Morghan away for himself. He didn't even need to look over at Hermione to know that she was waiting for his reaction to all this, but Harry just couldn't seem to tear his eyes away from the scene unfolding in front of him. Josh leaned down and kissed Morghan selfishly, and greedily on her lips, the lips that Harry had had just last night, and now they were once again taken from him. Harry turned around and left, this was all too much for him to take. He didn't know where he was going to go, and he honestly didn't know why he let them make him go today.
