The next morning you were packing up and determining the fastest way home, when someone tapped your shoulder. It was Kiana, "what are you doing?" she asked. "I'm trying to figure out the fastest way home" you replied. "Well that should be easy, you can just fly home" she said in a bit of a surprised voice. "Oh, yeah ha I forgot, but I don't know how to use my wings, I've never flown before." you said. Then a friend and I will teach you, your dragon instincts should take over once you're in the air ok. *You and Kiana are walking* "Who is the friend?" you ask. "Sorry I forgot to introduce you to Ajax". "Alright then where do we find Ajax?" you asked. "Right behind you" a boy's voice said. You quickly turn to see a boy about your and Kiana's age. "Hello" you said "my name is Caden it's nice to meet you." "Right back at ya" he replied. "So, what can I help you with?" he asked. "Well we need to teach Caden here how to fly, now I would do this myself but seeing how you both haven't meet yet and the fact that my wing is broken I thought you could get her started." Kiana said. "Yeah no problem, has she ever called her wings out before?" He asked. "No this will be her first time." Kiana said. "Oh, I see well Caden please call out your wings and we will get started but I should warn you the first transformation is the most painful." Ajax Said. "I thought there would be a catch; alright let's get this over with." *takes a step back away from Kiana and Jax* "Arise" you whisper and jolts of pain begin to scream from your shoulder blades, but you don't make a sound or even show the pain in your face but your eyes are just screaming for relief. But the process doesn't last long, only a few minutes but it felt like forever. Finally your upper body becomes numb and then feeling slowly returns. You turn your head and see a pair of beautiful black based wings that fade into a purple clear/see through color between the "fingers" which is the black. (I hope that you know what I'm taking about!) You decided to try and fully open your wings to their total wingspan. Your wingspan was around ten feet long so each wing was roughly five feet long. "Wow, your wings are beautiful Caden" Kiana said. "Thanks, but what do I do now?" you asked. "Flap your wings of course; I think that with one wing beat you should be a few feet in the air." Ajax Said. *You flap your wings and Ajax was right with one flap of your wings you were a few feet in the air* immediately your new instincts kicked in and you were doing barrel rolls in no time. After a few minutes of fooling around you decided that it was time for you to go home you really missed your parents, so you asked Kiana "how do I get home?" she said "just go east and then you will be able to find it from there I'm sure." "Alright but once your wing heals you have to come visit me." You said. "Don't be a stranger in these parts either ya hear!" Ajax said. You nodded and started your journey home.
Of course your mother and father could hardly believe that their daughter had befriended an entire dragon village and was given the mark/crest of their clan and the essence of dragon to top it all off. They were very proud of you and you could tell just by looking at them. Well they let you sleep and eat for the rest of the day, but tomorrow it was straight back to days full of training and lessons.

- Invisibility/Incombustibility - the ability to cover entire body with dragon scales. The scales can be used as camouflage, making you completely invisible to the naked eye. Since these are dragon scales they are completely resistant to flame, cuts, bombs everything but dragon claws
- Dragon Night sight They look like Riddick from Pitch Black or The Chronicles of Riddick eyes they have that shine too but you can retract them like a crocodile 'ya know when a crocodile blinks there is an inner layer of material that goes from side to side not up to down' for normal eyesight. To explain dragon night sight gives you the ability to see in pitch black.
You have been training and studying your ass off now you train with your Mother and Father when they are at both their full powers. Your Mother has taught you how to control all of your newly found dragon powers along with the ability to read peoples energies (you can tell if they are human /demon /dragon /etc.) Right after your encounter with the dragons and all of that Genkai caught wind of the story and wanted to hear it for herself. So she came and visited you to see a relative that she had never met! You had done what no demon has done in centuries, befriend dragons. After she heard your story and heard that you still had some unknown powers to master she demanded the right to train you. She was very impressed with your abilities during your first training session. She even said "you, Caden, are definitely on your way to becoming a great warrior or assassin much like your mother and father." Well all work and no play isn't right so every month you would spend a few days with the dragons at their village, learn about their histories and share the knowledge that those who became part of you have shared etc.
You're twelve years old right now and August 18th is tomorrow
"Happy Birthday sweetie" your mother and father chimed at the same time. "What? Tomorrow's my birthday did you guys hit your heads or something?" you asked giving them a questioning look. "Oh, no we thought that it would be nice if you spent your real birthday with friends, and you spend the day before with us okay?" they explained. "Well alright then well do I get my presents a day earlier then?" you asked hopefully? "Well no, you have to wait until tomorrow." They replied. "Thought I'd try." you said with a smile on your face. "What are we going to do today then?" you asked. "Well we thought that we would have a picnic, then go for a swim in the river then come back home and create a bon fire and roast marshmallows, What do you think?" asked you father. "That sounds perfect" you replied with a big smile on your face. You got ready to go and then left with everyone. You found a really nice place to have a picnic right under a beautiful tree next to the river. While you're eating you and your parents have several hearts to hearts and talk about the future a bit and learn more about each other. Caden found out more about both her parents pasts. Anyway it made you realize how much you really love them, you go through the day enjoying every bad joke and silly comment your parents could muster, then the stars came out and you decide to go sleep since its getting late and you have a big day ahead of you. Right as you climb into bed both of your parents came to tuck you in bed. After you said your goodbyes and I love you(s) you asked your mother to sing you that lullaby and one of her favorite songs. Of course she agreed and sang your lullaby and then decided to sing You Gotta Be by Desree, [fast-forward to chorus] You gotta be bad, you gotta be bold You gotta be wiser, you gotta be hard You gotta be tough, you gotta be stronger You gotta be cool, you gotta be calm You gotta stay together. Anyway you fall asleep and your parents leave you and go to their room.
As they are walking down the hall, Kale wants to talk about what is to happen tomorrow. "Yuki, I think she is ready we have done our best to prepare her." Kale said. "But what if our best isn't enough, oh this isn't fair Kale, I want to see her grow up." "I know that's what I want too but I'm afraid we are only going to see her grow to thirteen." Hint hint! "At least she will remember us in every detail, and she won't ever forget her training. I hope she can forgive us for not telling her everything." Yuki said. "She will understand over time, there is no doubt in my mind that she will forgive us." Kale said reassuringly. "I have written her a letter that she can read when she opens her gift from us explaining everything and telling her why we did what we chose to do." Kale Said. "Alright, is there anything else that must be taken care of before tomorrow?" Yuki asked. "No, I have alerted Benny of Caden's arrival tomorrow and I have set everything up for her in the human world she will have a good life there. All she needs to do is leave tomorrow and stay with the dragons for only a few hours and then she will be alone." "Have you written instructions on how to use her gifts and what they do?" Yuki asked. "Of course, how about we get some sleep alright." Kale said. So they sleep.
