Rain drops trickled down the window, night was slowly comming and your prince was breathing down your neck. His hands finding their way up your arms and shoulders he kissed your neck and ran his fingers through your chocolate colored hair. He took his hand and ran it up your shirt and further up until you heard
"I'll beat you you d*** rat!"
You looked up from your book and growled slightly. You were completly intranced by your story that you lost yourself in it, looking around at your room you smiled at the soothing tone around you. You had lit all the candles around your room and in the darkness they were letting off a heavenly glow. The electricity was out and it was not helping your cousin's spirits at all. Your name is Amy and you have lived in the Sohma house for fiffteen years. Your parents died when you were one in a car wreck and you were sent to live with the rest of your family. Unlike the Sohmas your living with you don't have the curse upon you so you can still hug them without transforming into anything. You were lying propted up by three pillows with your book lying on your lap as your amber colored eyes scanned out into the hall before you heard another crash and you heard Shingure shout out
"Amy mind lending a hand?"
You rolled your eyes and walked down stairs finding your way down the stairs in darkness tripping over a few objects along the way listining to the rumble of bodies. When you got to the living room where you saw Yuki and Kyo fighting in the middle as Yuki was dodging his attacks with great ease. Over to the right you could see Shingure gaurding his work room with his fresh stories in it as you walked in the middle of the room and cleared your throut quietly before shouting
"WILL YOU BOTH KNOCK IT OFF?!?"
They stopped and looked at you with wide eyes as you said
"You just ruined the best part of my book! I hope you both are happy."
Yuki shot up off of Kyo and bowed saying
"Forgive us Amy, I'm sorry that this Baka ruined your moment."
Kyo got off the ground saying
"You started it, you stupid rat."
He glared back saying
"How did I start it by bumping into you in the dark?"
Kyo got in his face shouting
"No you being born is enough to start me up."
You sighed and said turning to Shingure
"Okay their back to petty arguments this is a good stage. If the get violent again call me."
He let out a breath and sat on the sofa. You were about to walk back up to your room until you heard a noise outside, you looked out the window slowly trying your best to see outside through the stormy night. You stared harder and harder until you saw a figure in the darkness sturgiling against the storm. You opened the door and let out a sigh of relief when you saw white hair as you called out
"Haru! Over here!"
He looked over to you and ran to the house soaking wet once he was in it took all your strength to close the door against the wind.
"Haru what were you doing out there?"
Yuki asked comming out (Haru is not gay in this one) He brushed back his hair with his fingers saying
"I'm searching for Kisa."
"Kisa?"
You questioned he nodded and said
"Yes Akito came to her house and really scared her so she took off. Last time I saw her she was running into the forest no one has seen her since that was about three hours ago."
Your eyes widened
"She's outside, in that?!?"
You question automatically reaching for your jacket.
"Kyo, Shingure, come in here."
You yelled into the next room
"We have to find her. She is out there somewhere, in that storm afraid. Keep your cell phone on so if we find her before you do you'll know. Yuki go with Shingure in the car back to her house in case she went back there. Kyo go with Haru and search the city, I'll go into the forest."
Haru put his hand on your shoulder saying
"I don't want you to go alone."
You rolled your eyes saying
"Kisa is out there somewhere, she's just a little girl and the more ground we cover the better. Plus I've been raised in these woods if she is out there I'll find her. But we're wasting time lets move."
They nodded and went in their directions as you faced down the dark forest.
But I want to go with Yuki in the car
Forget that I want to drop Haru and be with Kyo in the city
Are you nuts Haru is way sexier. ME: Will you all focus? Kisa is missing!
The large trees waved in the wind, rain fell hard and was icy cold as you pressed on climbing over roots calling out
"Kisa! Kisa! It's Amy!."
No reply as you continued on going deeper and deeper into the forest and the storm was picking up. You heard a noise and looked up to see a large tree falling, your eyes widened as you did a back roll out of the way getting your jacket simply filthy
"Aw man I love this coat."
You thought. You wiped off most of the mud and pressed on calling out again and again until you heard a faint
"Amy? I'm over here!"
You followed her little voice to a fallen bank. You could see she had fallen and she was all muddy and just drenched. Her face was covered in dirt and her clothes were torn and ripped.
"Kisa are you hurt?"
You asked comming over to her she said
"No but I'm stuck."
You slid down the bank as graceful as you could and you saw her little leg caught inbetween two roots. You pried the roots up as she slid her leg out, you hugged her saying
"Oh Kisa I'm so happy your alright."
She looked up and hugged into you tightly as you stood with her frozen body clinging too you.
"Kisa I need you to transform so I can carry you in my coat. Your going to catch your death out here if you don't keep warm."
She nodded and turned into a little tiger cub and you put her in your coat holding onto her tightly you made your way home. It was not an easy task to hold her and climb over fallen trees but you managed to do it anyway as you saw the house and a sigh of relief came as you called the rest of the guys home on the cell phone. Going into the house Kyo started up the fire and Yuki got some blankets and you wrapped Kisa's naked body in them. You couldn't grab her clothes because they were all ripped so Haru went to go get some from her house and tell her mother that she was alright. Little Kisa sat wrapped in a blanket with one of your arms around her. Shingure came out with some coco for her and mint tea for you (sorry it's my fav)She took it and said
"Thank you Oji" ( Oji= middle aged man)She liked calling him that for some reason as she sipped her coco looking into the fire.
"Kisa that was some scare you put us through."
Shingure said as she looked down saying
"Yes I'm sorry. What Akito said.... I... I couldn't help but run away."
You looked at Shingure who didn't look up as you said
"What did he say?"
She looked at you with those big amber eyes and said
"He said to Hiro to stop being nice to me or he would hurt him. Hiro hasn't stopped and Akito hit him, he hit him very hard and he threw me."
She turned her head and cried into your arms as you looked at Kyo who was stareing into the fire. You ran your hand along her back as she cringed
"Ow please don't touch me there that is where he hurt me."
You looked down to see a huge bruise on her back, your eyes filled with angry tears but Yuki put his hand on your shoulder whispereing to you
"Amy don't let her see you cry, it's not comforting."
You nodded and forced them back as you ran your fingers through her hair and hummed your family's song as Kisa closed her eyes just as Haru walked in. He came over and handed you the clothes, Yuki picked up Kisa in the blanket and helped you carry her up the stairs into your room. You hugged him as he left and you handed Kisa her night clothes she changed into them and went down stairs to say good night to everyone. She hugged Haru and said
"Good night nii ( big brother)"
She went to Yuki and hugged him saying
"Good night Yuki thank you for looking for me."
She hugged Shingure and said thank you for the coco but when she went over to Kyo he looked at her with wide eyes. As she came slightly closer saying
"Do I get a hug Kyo?"
He looked at her like this O.o as she put her head down he caved in and gave her a hug as she walked up the stairs to your open hand. Takeing it you both walked into your room where she took a spot on your bed. You always had a soft spot for Kisa because she was teased so much by her peers that she was extremely shy. She only talked to her family members and you were often called her big sister as she got under the warm sheets. You crawled onto bed with her as she asked quietly
"Amy may I hear a story?"
You smiled and said
"Kisa you are a girl after my own heart."
You picked out your favorite story when you were her age and your laied down with your arm around her letting her look at the pictures. You told the story about the princess who kept as a slave in her wicked master's house and how every night she would slave away for him without complaint until one day he came and tortured her even more. Until a handsome prince came and killed the evil master and saved the girl."
She looked up and said
"Amy? Why is it always a prince who saves the girl?"
You looked forward and smiled saying
"I guess that is how it is in stories."
She curled into you closeing her eyes saying
"Can't it be a girl who saves the day?"
You ran your fingers through her sun kissed hair saying
"I guess it could happen."
She yawned and said
"Because I want a girl to destroy our evil master and free us."
You knew she was talking about Akito as you asked
"Who is the girl?"
She said almost asleep
"My big sister."
You smiled and closed the book brushing back her hair and calming her too sleep. Once she was you got out of the bed gently and walked over to the door and backed out quietly until you heard a voice say...... Cliffhanger!!!
