"Ohmygodyoulooksobeautiful," Samantha squeaked before throwing herself on you.
"Sam! Get off her, you're going to mess up her dress," Erin said, gently prying Sam off of you.
You were crying as well. You were finally getting married to the man of your dreams: Billie Joe Armstrong.
"Don't cry, Cassie. Your eyeliner is all over the place," Brittany said, teary-eyed as well, as she dabbed your eyes and fixed it for you.
"I'm getting married!" You exclaimed before sobbing hysterically.
"Really? I did not know that," Mike joked, walking over and smiling at you. "Are you almost ready?" He asked softly. You sniffed loudly.
"Mike, thank you so much for everything, you're one of my best friends and I love you," you said, your voice high and whiny.
"You're one of my best friends and I love you, too," he replied, patting you on the back.
"You look wonderful. Now as long as you don't burst into tears again, you'll be perfect," Sam said lovingly, dabbing her eyes as she smiled at you.
"Okay... I'm ready," you took a deep breath and linked arms with Mike; he was walking you down the aisle. Billie decided on making Tre his best man after he thought long and hard about it... (actually, he made them draw straws).
"Oh, my God," you whispered in complete awe as you saw Billie Joe waiting for you at the alter. He looked gorgeous.
Mike turned and smiled at you as he walked you down, feeling almost as happy for you as you felt for yourself. Billie Joe obviously thought you looked just as great because his jaw literally dropped a bit before he remembered to close his mouth. The two of you stared at each other as you got closer to him.
Joey was the ring-bearer. He looked so adorable standing behind Billie in a little tux. You were so happy that you found him; you loved him just as much as if he was your biological son. Tre was standing there by Billie, smiling so broadly you imagined you could see every one of his teeth. You almost laughed. Finally, you reached the alter.
You and Billie Joe held each other's hands as the priest read the vows. You barely heard or saw anything other than Billie's shining green eyes. The two of you had been through so much together, and finally you were getting married.
You said your vows and he kissed you for the first time as his wife. You never knew just how perfect true love could be. At the wedding reception, you thought about everything that happened since you met Green Day. The good times and the bad. You thought about the time you spent being with Tre, and the time you spent pining for Billie. You thought about having to choose between them. You thought about the time Tre almost died and the time you almost died. You remembered that feeling of complete peace when you thought you were going to give up your life to save Joey's. It all seemed like a dream. Then you remembered finding out you were pregnant with Jakob... and Billie's reaction.
Then, just like the first night you met Billie and he took you up on the rooftop over the city, you heard the chords from his guitar soar through the air and hit you like a comforter on a cold winter's night. You looked over to the stage to see him gazing at you, just before he started singing the song that meant everything to you. And you knew that no matter what, Billie gave you, and would continue to give you, the time of your life.
Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist directs you where to go
So make the best of this test and don't ask why
It's not a question but a lesson learned in time
It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right
I hope you had the time of your life.
So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf of good health and good time
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial
For what it's worth, it was worth all the while
It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right
I hope you had the time of your life
It's over. I can't believe it's over! *breaks down* I loved writing this story. It was a lot of fun, and you guys were great readers/raters/messagers. Thanks SO much for all the support. Lucky Charms or Frosted Flakes is probably the only Billie Joe story I'm going to work on for a while, so if you haven't already read it, go check it out. So... I guess that's it. Thanks again. Now please rate. Come on. It's the LAST part to this story. Just click the little button and it'll make me SO happy! Rock on. \m/ \m/
