You smiled at the girl awkwardly. She smiled back and you asked her, "Who are you?" She then said, "Pardon me, madame, my name is Mya." You then asked, "But, why are you here?" She gently pushed you back down on the bed and continued massaging you wondefully. She explained, "Well, last night while I was walking home from the market, a demon came out of nowhere and attacked me. He brought me here and transformed into the most handsome human I have yet to see. He told me that I am to make sure you were comfortable. I was too scared at the time to not follow his orders so I came here this morning and followed his orders." You were confused but when you felt like you had enough massaging you politely said, "That's enough, thank you." She bowed and asked shyly, "Uh . . . are you Lord Sesshomaru's lady?" You blush and shake your head no. She seemed happy about that and you almost glared at her. ~Who does that bitch think she is even thinking about my Sesshy?!~ You then blush in embarassment of your horrible thought. The girl was, after all, very sweet and polite. You then asked her, "Did he tell you why he ordered you to do this?" She shook her head and said, "Lord Sesshomaru did request you join him for breakfast. He said to tell you that it was urgent and that you had to come down as soon as possible." She smiled and left the room. You took a nice hot bath and you saw a kimono laid out for you on the bed. What was it like?

Sesshomaru said to her firmly, "Go Rin!" But, you said, "Don't leave me, Rin!" She started crying and shouted, "Let her go!" Sesshomaru glares at her and picks her up and takes her out gently. She yells on the top of her lungs, "No! Stop it! _______!" You continued to cry, you were so scared at what Sesshomaru would do to you. He was over you but you were too scared to look. He knelt down and unlocked your chains. He yanked you up by your arm and you cried out as you felt pain pierce through your whole body at sudden rough movement. He dragged you to a room you didn't recognize and said roughly, "Take your bath, human! When you finish, Joken will be up to take you down to your dungeon." Tears were still streaming down your cheeks as you whispered, "What happened to you? What happened to the Sesshomaru who swore he would never hurt me? What did I do to deserve this treatment?" He stared at you and said simply, "Bathe." He left the room and you collapsed on the floor crying horribly. ~My love, my hero, my Sesshomaru. Why did you become this horrible wretched man who treats me as if nothing had ever happened between us?~ You get up, still crying, and get into the hot tub. It was like a washer of pain, you stopped crying and relaxed. He was at least giving you this wonderful bath! You finished a long time later and got dressed in your old clothes which were dirty with dirt and blood. How do you fix your hair?

You fixed your hair in a bun and put on a matching flower hairpiece that came along with it and decided to not put any shoes on. The heels you wore to the party before you were kidnapped were killing you enough as it is but thanks to the massage, they didn't hurt as much. You walked down the beautiful white and gold stairs but stopped in the middle when you saw Sesshomaru waiting for you. He was staring at you and you stared back, you could feel your cheeks heat up and you lowered your eyes. He smiled when you weren't looking and you walked down, your eyes avoiding him. You stood in front of him, still looking away and he finally said softly, "Come now. You must be hungry." You nod and blush when he holds out his hand. You look up at him and see him looking at you with his emotionless expression. You took his hand and he walked with you to the dining room and he even pulled the chair so he could seat you. You mumbled a shy thank you and he sat next to you, to your horror. The food was served by Mya and you smiled at her, trying to calm her since Sesshomaru made her extremely nervous. She finally left and you were stuck with Sesshomaru. You ate uncomfortably since Sesshomaru stared at you while he ate as well. You then drank some of the fresh milk Mya brought when he asked, "Why did you run away from me?" You choke on the milk and it spurts out your nose. Sesshomaru smiles and starts chuckling but you only wipe your nose and blush. You refused to look at him but he firmly grabbed your chin and tilted it to his direction so you were looking at him. He then repeated softly, "Why did you run away from me? And no lies!" You had no choice but to tell him. You told him how you disobeyed him and overheard that one night when he said he was only after your necklace and that you were so hurt that you ran away. You told him how you met a wolf demon named Koga that helped you find Kagome and to your home. He listened intently and he finally said, "You shouldn't have disobeyed me to begin with." You then snap at him, "And you shouldn't have decieved me!" He looked at you and you asked, "Was . . . was any . . . of-of . . . what happened . . . between us . . . was it real?" He stares at you for a long time without saying anything. You sigh disappointedly and said while standing up, "Never mind. I knew all along you were a cruel heartless demon to begin with!" He glared at you and said, "You don't know the first thing about me!" You shouted, "Yes I do! I know you're a horrible, insenstive, pig-headed, hoity toity son of a bitch whose only after things that will make him stronger!" He glared at you and slapped you. Your head turned at the force of that slap and your hair fell apart and was let loose in luscious waves. You look back at him, your lip bleeding, your eyes hurt and angry. He looks at you but you only spit at his feet and turn to leave and run into the room and cry your eyes out. You hear someone enter and you look to see . . .

You heard someone saying your name. You recognized Kagome's voice and you looked around and saw you were at Kaede's hut. You were weak and dizzy. You asked her, "What happened?" She explained that you fainted as soon as you landed on the water. "How in the world did you walk on the water?" she asked. You smiled and said, "I guess it must be one of the powers my mother talked about." You looked around and asked, "Where is everybody?" She smiled and said, "Don't worry. Inuyasha, Miroku, Sesshomaru and Joken went out looking for food and and log for a fire. Sango, Rin and Shippo are getting water." You relaxed and she laughed suddenly. "What?" you ask. She answered, "Sesshomaru has been acting like a guy about to be a father. He was so worried about you that Inuyasha was almost killed four time because he kept teasing him." You smile sadly and you see the guys enter. Sesshomaru stares at you but looks away and prepares the fire. You were a bit hurt at his I-don't-care attitude but you only smiled at Inuyasha and Miroku. Inuyasha sat down in his usual corner and Miroku sat by you. He took your hand and said, "Is this young beauty finally rested?" You nod with a sweet smile and he says, "That is good. A beautiful young lady like you should be treated like a queen." He kisses your hand and you giggle flirtatiously and blush cutely. Kagome was watching Sesshomaru with an amused expression as he glared furiously at Miroku for making you blush and laugh. Inuyasha then said loudly and amused, "Don't talk to ______ too much, Miroku. Little Sesshy-kins wouldn't like it!" Sesshomaru growled threatingly and got up but you said, "Sesshomaru, stop! You, too, Inuyasha! Act your own age!" Sesshomaru glared at you and Inuyasha gave you an evil smile. ~*~*~*Sunset*~*~*~ Everyone had already ate and Inuyasha continued to provoke Sesshomaru with baby talk, names and you. Sesshomaru was so touchy when it came to you. You were getting sick of their arguing that you just stormed out and sat on a hill you found with the perfect view of the sunset. You closed your eyes as you the wind blew. You started to sing, you were so shocked! Whenever you sang in the shower your voice cracked but now, it was much more gorgeous then a chorus of angels. Whatever you did, it only angered him and he dragged you by your hair to the well. "No! No, no, no, no! Please, Sesshomaru, no! Why are you doing this?!" you scream really loud. But he only tugs at you and you see Kagome's little brother staring at you from behind a tree. He looked horrified but you only shouted, "Souta! Tell Kagome to find me!" Sesshomaru looked around to see who you were talking to but saw no one. He only smirked and pulled you down the well. You felt so much pain on your head that you passed out completely. ~*~*~*Morning*~*~*~ You woke up on the cold hard ground, every single muscle in your body aching, your head throbbed but your heart was the most pained of all. All the memories that came through you, you hoped were only nightmares but when you opened your eyes you saw your were tied againts the floor in horrible chains that scraped your wrists and your ankles. You started to cry. The room smelt of blood and dead flesh and you looked around and saw many skeletons of demons and humans. You started to scream hysterically, "Somebody help me! Help! Help me! Kagome help me!" You started shouting and screaming when you heard the door creak open slowly. You were screaming too much to notice but Rin was peeking. She gasped and ran to you. You saw her and started crying even harder, knowing she wouldn't be able to help you. She started crying in alarm and she touched your face gently and said, "I'll get Lord Sesshomaru, he'll help you!" You then said, "No! No, don't! He's the one who has me like this! Rin, help me, please!" She cryed and whimpered, "I don't know how!" Suddenly a shadow appeared near the door, who do you think it is?

Rin was standing there smiling at you. You wiped your tears and opened your arms out and she ran to you and jumped in there. You hugged her tight and she hugged back. She sat in your lap, her head snuggled againts your stomach and your arms around each other. She smiles at you and says, "I'm glad Lord Sesshomaru decided to treat you like the princess you are." You laugh and say, "I'd hardly call myself a princess. And no, I don't think Lord Sesshomaru will treat me like one for much long." Rin frowns and says, "He's not just after your necklace! I know it! All those years you were gone, he wouldn't eat, he refused to sleep until he found you and when he did sleep he always said your name in his sleep-" Rin was caught off by a sharp voice. "Enough Rin! Come now!" Joken said rudely. He bowed to you and you said, "It's okay, Joken. Rin and I were just going to take a walk into the garden now. Come on, Rin!" You both walk hand in hand, outside to the garden with the huge waterfall. Rin played in the flowers and you sat at the edge of the lake and dipped your foot in, letting the coolness give you gooseflesh. You sighed and stared at the waterfall as the wind blew your hair seductively. For some reason you felt some sort of connection to the waterfall and you put your hand to your necklace but you didn't have it on. You looked around, panicking, in the water. You then felt someone tap your shoulder and looked up at Sesshomaru. He handed you your necklace and said, "Is this what you're looking for?" You yank it from him but it starts to glow and it floats above the lake, into the waterfall. You start to go after it but Sesshomaru puts one arm around your waist and says, "Watch!" You stopped struggling and watched as your necklace disappeared into the falls. You saw the waterfall stop pouring and your necklace being locked into the wall behind the waterfall. It glowed red for a while and a huge white light exploded near it and the wind became hard and brutal. You buried your face in Sesshomaru's chest and he held you firmly, the wind almost blowing you away. You heard someone yelling and looked to see Kagome and the gang watching you two. Your first thought was to run to her but your eyes looked upon the necklace and you immediately forgot anything else. You walked out of Sesshomaru's arms and walked to the lake. Your feet didn't sink in, they walked on the water, your eyes never leaving the necklace. You finally reached it and you stared at it. You then were floating into the air right in front of the necklace. Words appeared in front of you:

It was the same you sang, except your mother's voice. You stared at the figure coming out of the necklace and saw . . . your mother. She was a ghost! You stared as you felt tears come to your eyes. She was the same gorgeous woman when you saw her many years ago when you were ten. She had her long gorgeous black hair loose, her sea green eyes, her pale complexion, her rosy cheeks and red blood lips. She touched your cheek and said, "______, I was going to tell you this on your 18th birthday when your powers would be given to you. But, sadly, your father and I died before either of us could tell you. I am a song sorcerous. We have power in our voices. We sing and we can slay down up to two hundred demons! Your brother does not have this power because only the woman of this family have this power. Your father is with your brother right now telling him everything I am telling you." You couldn't say anything. She then turned to Sesshomaru and said sternly, "I have watched the way you have treated my daughter the past two days. And frankly, young demon, if I was a bad person, I would have slain you by now." Sesshomaru blushed horribly but said nothing. She then turned to Inuyasha and said, "I thank you and your companions for treating my daughter like a family member. And Kagome for always being there for her." They all smiled at her and Inuyasha did, too. She finally turned to you and began singing. You finally sang along with her and her mother held out her hand and put your necklace around you. She whispered, "This necklace gives you the power of courage, melody, life and endurance. Without it, when you are in battle, you will give up easily and feel as if there is no hope, no melody will be played and if you are slain, you will die. I did not wear this necklace when I died, but if I did, I would be here with you now as a widow." You then asked, "Why here, why in the Feudal Era?" She smiled and said, "Because this is your true home. Lord Sesshomaru's castle is our home in the future. Not only will this necklace give you your powers. It will guide you to your one true love." She looked up into the sky and a light was coming from a cloud and she said, "I have to go. Take care, my daughter. I love you." She kisses your forehead and you say, crying, "I love you, too." She flies up into the sky and you slowly float back down, your feet touching the surface of the water. You felt a sudden tiredness and fainted.

~*~*~*When you woke up*~*~*~
Sesshomaru ordered you to come back with him but you shake your head timidly. He then looks at you for a while and says, "It was not a request but an order!" You manage to stutter out, "I know but I at least want to say goodbye to my brother." He scoffs and says, "Why should I grant you this desire?" You feel horrible and say tearfully, "Please, Sesshy." He glares at you and he picks you up by your hair and throws you againts a tree. You start crying again. This wasn't the Sesshomaru you remembered. He stares at you. ~*~*~*Sesshomaru's Point of View*~*~*~ Sesshomaru stared at you and thought to himself, ~Why? Why am I treating her this way? Is it because she called me that? No. It's not. It's because I don't want her fooling me into thinking a human could actually care for me.~ ~*~*~*Your point of view*~*~*~ You cryed into your arms again and got up when you thought Sesshomaru might have left but he just stood there, staring at you. He went to you, wrapping one arm around your waist and the other pulling your hair back so you looked up at him. You let your tears fall freely and you just stared at his eyes that looked into yours deeply. You expected him to kiss you, to apologize or to hold you close like the old Sesshomaru would. But, he spit in your face and threw you on the ground again. You let out heart wrenching sobs that turned Sesshomaru's stomach. All he wanted was to hold you, to kiss you and make love to you the way he did two years ago. But, he thought that if he let himself you would trick him like he thought you did two years ago. You wiped the spit from your face and got up slowly but ran as fast as you could out of the forest. You could hear Sesshomaru catching up to you and you ran harder then you ever ran before, your legs burning with muscular aching. You then feel someone tug at your hair and you let out a scream as they pulled you back by your hair. What do you do?

You fix your hair and see Joken waiting outside in the hallway. He gives you a miserable look and says, "Come, _____." You smile sadly at him and follow him. He leads you to that horrible room and you slowly walk in, feeling suffocated from the wretched smell of old blood and rotting bones. Joken then points to a corner near a corner with chains hanging from the wall. You tryed to look at the positives ~At least I won't be chained down to the floor~ You walk over and Joken locks the chains. He then looks into your eyes and says, "Forgive me." You smile weepily and say in a tear filled voice, "It's not your fault. Good night, Joken, and thank you." He left with a sad expression on his face and you immediately burst out crying. You were sitting on the hard floor, your ankles and wrists chained againts the wall. You were too horrified to look around the room where demon and human bones were everywhere. You finally opened your eyes and two human bones caught your interest. The two dead humans had their arms around each other, one was taller then the other, they're arms and body entagled. You let out a shiver. It looked like a man and a woman who were holding onto each other for dear life when Sesshomaru killed them. They must have been lovers or family. You cried again, eventually crying yourself to sleep. ~*~*~*Sesshomaru's Point of View*~*~*~ Sesshomaru layed on his huge bed, staring up at the ceiling, feeling absolutely confused. He thought that he would have enjoyed getting revenge on the woman who had decieved him but he wasn't enjoying it at all! He wanted her near him on the soft bed, holding her and listening to her weird way future humans talked. He still had no idea what "dude" meant but it amused him. He smiled in rememberance and decided ~Enough is enough! I will get her to tell me why she left me!~ He got up and stormed to the dungeons and slammed the door open. What he saw ripped his heart apart. _______ was chained againts the wall, bags under her eyes, her face pale, her eyes red and puffy and she was breathing shallowly. He immediately unchained her chains and she woke up in a start. She stared at him in horror and Sesshomaru felt so horrible at what he had done to her.

You eventually fell asleep in his arms and the last thing you remember was being placed on an extremely comfortable bed ~*~*~*Morning*~*~*~ You woke up and felt someone massaging your aching back with soft, warm hands. You sighed and relaxed, not even caring who it was but whoever it was was massaging you so perfectly you felt yourself almost fall asleep again. The person massaged your shoulders and your neck for the longest time and you finally opened your eyes and realized you were naked. You look at your massager and to your shock, it was . . .
